Advice - Dating a ministry leader

I need advice on a situation... My church's young singles ministry leader has asked me to be his girlfriend and he's made it clear that he is serious about the relationship. He has many of the characteristics that I'm looking for in a Christian man but is a poor leader.  I feel as though I may be being too critical because I'm younger than him but have much more leadership experience. I just fear that him not being completely reliable and a bad communicator would cause trouble  in the relationship.  But on the other hand his weaknesses are my strengths and I could possibly encourage him to grow in those areas. We're pretty opposite I like structure and organization and he's laid back and go with the flow.  Any thoughts?

Disclaimer: no I don't expect him to be perfect.  He continues to make the same mistakes without changing.

Well you could stay friends and pray about it and ask God for his guidance, or you could go out with him, see what happens, but not allow it to get too serious as yet.
I am not sure why he is talking about being so serious when you barely know each other???

By the way, in marriage we do compliment each other and one's strengths can help another's weaknesses and visa versa.

Remember also that his way of leading may be just as good, even if it isn't the way YOU lead.
My husband is very laid back and easy going, and I LOVE that about him. Be careful about thinking that you are 'better' at it, just because you are more structured. Also never criticise him. Encourage dont criticise.
