God's forgotten diet for health and healing

The topic of health and natural healing doesn't seem to be much of a priority in Christianity today. It's hardly ever mentioned in church, and very often churches themselves will feed their flock demonic food. By demonic food I mean man-made garbage that encourages sickness and disease. Most Christians will agree that harming the body with drugs is a sin, yet they see nothing wrong with harming the body with bad food.

According to Genesis, God's original diet for mankind was seeds, nuts, fruits, and herbs. Vegetables actually came after sin, but they're still good. You would be blown away at how many people have cured their disease by following God's health rules. It doesn't matter if it's cancer, diabetes, heart disease, digestive disorders etc, God has given us the perfect diet to prevent and cure disease. Doctors, except for emergency doctors, are the salesmen for big pharma. Doctors don't cure disease, they suppress symptoms by prescribing harmful drugs.

What you sow you're going to reap. Christians often choose to live unhealthy and eat unnatural foods, and when they get sick they think they can just pray for healing. God is willing to answer prayers that serve His purpose, but God also expects us to do our part.

I am now on 100% raw food diet. My main diet is juicing vegetables and herbs, and eating lots of sweet fruit. Juicing is the best way to get nutrients into your body, and the juice and sweet fruits will detox your body and will heal many diseases. Reducing stress is also very important, but your diet should be your first step to health and healing.

Quote from: Genesis 9And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. 2 The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered. 3 Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. 4 But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.

God Himself gave meat to us for food. Are you saying He was wrong?

Some vegetables release more of their nutrients when cooked -- tomatoes and carrots for instance.  As far as 'de-toxing' your body is concerned, that is a bunch of nonsense.  God designed your liver and kidneys to do that, and they do it quite nicely.

Have no idea where you got the idea that 'vegetables came after sin.'  That's another bit of nonsense.

I do agree with you, however, about the damage caused by processed foods and high sugar foods.  They are damaging.  But meat from naturally fed animals, and things like potatoes, rice, oats, etc, are also not only good for you but necessary for you.  You need a balanced diet, and, yes, of natural foods.

The other foods, however, are not demonic.

Diet will NOT cure many of the diseases you name if those diseases are caused by something other than a bad diet, and sometimes not even then.  For instance, a heart damaged by obesity and sugars remains damaged.

Where are you getting protein and iron?
There have been so many fads in recent years, and this raw food diet is one of the latest. A balanced diet is very important and we need protein and wholemeal grains and other healthy sources of roughage and vitamins and minerals. Only eating fruit and vegetables wont keep you healthy in the long term. God has said that all meats and other foods are for us to eat.
A healthy balanced diet is the best way to stay healthy. Not eating takeaways and too much processed food is very sensible, Cutting out white sugar, white flour and saturated fats is very beneficial. Drinking plenty of water also, and stopping fizzy drinks that are full of sugar.
No food is 'satanic.'

Jimmy

It is being shown more and more that the human body has no real need for carbohydrates at all.  So that while the body can make use of carbs they are not really necessary to life and in excess can be harmful.  Protein and fat on the other hand are absolutely necessary.  The low fat, high carbohydrate diet appears to be a part of what is leading to so much of the modern deterioration of a healthy and fit body and is producing the diabetes, obesity, dementia of the modern western man.

Helen

Jimmy, I have to contradict  you straight out.  Carbs are necessary -- absolutely necessary.  There are some carbohydrates found in fruits and some vegetables, but the grains, root vegetables, etc. are really REALLY important.

"Carbohydrates provide the body with a source of fuel and energy and aid in proper working of our brain, heart and nervous, digestive and immune systems."

Please don't give 'fad' advice to susceptible people.

Well, where does a gorilla get its protein from: fruits and vegetables. Leafy greens also contain natural protein. I also have a hemp protein shake now and again. Hemp is a very pure protein that comes from hemp seeds. I actually know a few big body builders who eat the gorilla diet. They are bulky, strong, and healthy. You don't have to eat a dead animal to get protein. God allows us to eat meat, but God's original diet was seeds, nuts, herbs, and fruit.

I totally disagree.

No, please read what I said. I'm saying that meat was not part of God's original diet.

Thank good ness we have more choice now. I was reading about a lady who followed such a diet the other day, and she spent a fortune on all her food. It was more than an average family of 4 spend.  Its quite mad to call food demonic and its also mad to say that we cant cook anything.

And this is not God's original world.  Plants that existed before the Flood no longer exist.

You should never rely on god only regarding health and healing. God doesn't take action into human's life. If God can help you to not surrender to cancer then so be it but always get a treatment.
