>>>Jude 1:7 completely eliminates homosexual lust as the sexual sin Sodom was judged for<<<

Can you be more specific?  When I read Jude 1:7 it does not completely eliminate homosexual lust at all:

"In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire". (Jude 1:7)

I think that the fact these men of Sodom could not recognize the difference between men and angels, but lived totally in their carnal lusts is one of the reasons God destroyed the city. He sends two of his HOLY angels to Sodom, and the men of the city surround Lot's house and threaten to ram the door down if he doesn't bring the "visitors" outside so they "can have sex with them".

In fact, I don't think it mattered to the men of Sodom at all. They were insane in their perverted lust, and were bent on raping anything that even looked like a man. Sin had driven them insane. Imagine it if you can----imagine a group of men surrounding your house and threatening to bust your doors down if you don't bring visitors outside that they "might know them" (have sex with them)!!  This totally perverse and insane action proved that these men were beyond saving, and God totally destroyed the city.

The lust they were judged for was hetero, the opposite of homo....

Jude1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange (G2087) flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

G2087  heteros  het'-er-os
of uncertain affinity;
(an-, the) other or different.
KJV: altered, else, next (day), one, (an-)other, some, strange.
