My girlfriend recently broke up with me about a month ago. We dated for almost 2 years and she is the best person I have ever met. I want her to come back but she said there is a little chance that she will come back. I pray every chance I get for another chance with her. When I do pray I get a calming feeling from it like a rush of comfort has overflowed my body and also I have such big faith that we will get back together in time. What do any of y'all think about this?

"Dude, calm down.  I'm right here.  Do what you're doing, and I'll carry you, and you'll be just fine."

I'm paraphrasing, of course, but I think that's what those feelings are.  God telling you to calm down.  You don't know if you two will get back together or not.  You can't trust that you will.  You just have to trust God, and I think those feelings are Him trying to tell you that.  Relax.  Trust Him, and keep seeking Him.

I agree with this. After 2 years, there must be a good reason why that she has ended it, maybe she doesn't feel that you are the one God wants her to marry?
Whatever happens, God has plans for you, and rather than hang on for something that may well never happen, you probably need to try and let her go, move on, and put this behind you, as sad as it makes you feel. By praying for her to come back, you may be praying for something that isn't right for you or her.

I have learnt in life that we are all very good at convincing ourselves that what WE want is what GOD wants, and that's often not the case. I suppose that's where trust comes in, that God alone knows what is best for us, even more than we do.  ::smile::
