Is it a sin to watch shows like Craig Ferguson's "The Late Late Show"?

Lately, I started watching Craig Ferguson's "The Late Late Show", but quickly stopped.  There are times where Craig can be funny, but  he turns me off when he brings up sex.  However, it's not the fact that he brings up sex itself, but how he does it.  Every time an attractive woman guest stars, he starts talking dirty to them, and makes so many innuendos.  One example is about the "snake cup" that he literally drinks out of.  Other jokes include glorifying cheating, lusting and self-gratification.  There are also homosexual undertones, such as the show featuring gay robot.

As I said, Ferguson can be funny at times (when using clean humor at least), but every time an attractive woman is on there, his mind sinks completely to the gutter.  For example; one time a woman on the show was talking about cooking actual food for her husband, and Ferguson thought she was talking about something involving sex. Also, near the end of each episode, Craig likes the women to suck or blow on a harmonica, that he likes to call, "the mouth organ".

Anyways, after watching the show, I felt....unclean.  Since I felt this way, I have asked God for forgiveness, and will not watch the show anymore.  Now that being said, obviously the things that go on in the show are sinful, but is it sinning simply by viewing it?

I am not sure the question is 'is it sinful.' but is it going to be helpful or beneficial for anyone to watch such rubbish? It makes you wonder why any women would want to be on his show from what you said.

It has no place in the life of a child of God.  Even if such thing as you mentioned above concerning sex was not mentioned, still foolish jesting should not once be named among God's children~ such talk is not convenient: but rather we should spend our time in giving thanks to God.  I am thankful that some things did concern you and bother your spirit, but keep watching them and it will not be too long that it will no longer grieve your tender spirit. Read what holy Paul had to say about such things: Ephesians 5:1-7, specially verse 4; Colossians 3:12-16; specially Philippians 4:8,9...and we cannot do things these by supporting them through watching their stupidity, and wickedness.

I really do not know who you are talking about, since I refuse to watch any of them.

I am sure it is a sin if you have to get up at 4:30 am .......

OldDad

It offended your conscience, so you probably shouldn't watch it.

But no, you don't sin by watching it.
