This will challenge you a bit but is simple. Where in the Bible does it say you will feel the Spirit speak? Nowhere. People always quote me the verses about what the Spirit came to do but nowhere does it say "feel". In fact we always assume "feel". We add it to Scripture. The still small voice was audible. Not felt. There are trigger words that make us believe what we were taught like: led, convict, comfort and other things the Spirit does but it doesnt say He will do them through a feeling voice. In fact Holy Spirit can do all those things like convict or comfort through the gifts of the Spirit. The gifts are Biblically certified works of the Spirit. Is it more biblical to say He speaks to me in my feelings or to say He speaks through His speaking gifts?

Go speaks to us in different ways. Most of the time it is with scripture. Sometimes He will communicate with us through another Christian.

The most important things is to keep your ears open. Look for God to communicate with you. Seek and ye shall find.

He speaks to me - but without words - so I can't describe it to another person. His Spirit speaks to and with my spirit.

It's kind of like this:

Romans 8
"26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
