Black hole

[DaveW]

There is a hole in the list of recent posts on the front page here right now from 12:23 pm to 12:53 pm EDT.

I know I posted 2 posts during that time and even saw both of them as "posted." Then they just vanished.

One was in "Vatican II was the Judgment of God" in the Catholic Forum and the other was in "A question about ad hominem attacks" in Chat with Moderators.

Is there a problem?

Your posts were raptured.

[DaveW]

Ruptured?

And I missed it ? ? ? ?

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

(btw - you do not know fear until you come home from somewhere and everyone is gone ....)

[Nevertheless]

There are 6 posts in that time period, 2 of which are yours.

I will check with Rod Sterling perhaps he can clear it up.  ( You have to be old to understand that one)

Really?  Then why did they not show up in the list and disappear from the threads at that time?

I took those time stamps from the list on the front page and they were consecutive.

btw - Sterling has been dead for a long time. Any contact with him is biblically forbidden.

OK you must be seeing a different list than I see.

In my "Posts" listing here are the headers of the 2 posts that bookend that time period:

8  Chat with Moderators / Re: A question about ad hominem attacks
« on: August 08, 2014, 12:54:10 PM »

9  Catholic Forum / Re: Vatican II was the Judgment of God

12:13pm and 12:54pm.  None between 12:23 pm to 12:53 pm.

At work I was on IE and here at home I am using Firefox.  Both are running 64 bit Win 7.

Hmmm.... Well I can't duplicate what I did now because too much time has passed.

I went to the forum Home page and at the bottom under "Forum Stats" I clicked on the "View the most recent posts on the forum." link. I paged back to the 11:23 am (I am on CDT) and found 6 posts between then and 11:53, including 2 of yours. I wish I had taken a screen shot as that link only gives results going back to yesterday.
