I have never had problems with lust or porn. But now that my wife will no longer have sex I am struggling with it....Anyone else have the problem, is it really wrong now to use porn for a temporary fix?....comments or discussion would be appreciated

What is your wife's excuse for not having sex?  Is she a profess Christian?  Can you answer these questions first?

TommyNoKnock

I can say from experience that porn can be very harmful.  We are learning as a society the dangers of how it sucks you in and digs you deeper (see yourbrainonporn.com for a bit on the science).

Thankfully, there is another great forum for support called yourbrainrebalanced.com.

My advice would be to have fun disrupting the status quo with your wife.  Take her somewhere new, put on a new type of music and dance, go out to dinner, or take a trip.  Sometimes fun and excitement can lead to new forms of emotional intimacy.  After that, ya never know what might flourish.

It isn't your wife's fault, it is your choice.

Yes, it is wrong and sinful to provide for yourself tools to assist your lust, not to mention the invasion of the porn "stars" lives, privacy, and modesty.

I agree with HR.  It is wrong, period.

You may not realize this, but using porn is going outside your marriage to fulfill your sexual desires.  There is never an excuse for that.

I think sometimes instead of focusing on your wife

how about try to get healthy

eat healthy, join a gym

make your more physically attractive to your wife?

Morally it is wrong.
Also after watching that stuff for a while you can develop erectile dis-function, that should motivate you some too(is a scientific fact)
