I have found people religious and non-religious who don't drink, smoke, or do drugs or have sex. But we never tend to work out due to them not finding me attractive, living out of state, or several hours away and not willing to have it work out, etc.

Internet people have been telling me to date religious people, try those online dating religious websites OR go to church to find these people. BUT do they really exist in the religious world? I know and have talked to some who still do these things, even though their religion says they can't do such things.

Are purity rings and celibacy even alive and well in some religions or does everyone just care about drinking, smoking, doing drugs, partying it up and having sex?

Those successful at having relationships find that a significant other is a person whom you find that giving of yourself to is wonderful.

Where yes, they do receive something in return...but their main object is giving to the other person.

So...when others have worked diligently hard at making themselves have assets that they can give to another person what they want to know is what have you been doing to improve your giving talents.

Educations, social graces, and sexual prowess are the usual gifts that many work at...but not all. Many Christians find other things including educations leaning towards degrees that provide incomes and missions work and other talents. Looks are OK...but they aren't everything. Personality and character are everything in a relationship. That doesn't mean that you have to be the most charismatic personality in the room. But you do have to be real.

Firstly, are you a Christian? Its just that you keep saying religious and not Christian, when they are not the same thing.
To answer your question, yes there are many Christians who are serious in their faith and who live a moral life. I met my husband on a Christian dating site, and know quite a few other couples who met that way as well . Do you have a good church you go to? Are you involved there in different ways? Belong to different groups? Have hobbies and interests? The thing is that you wont meet anyone if you don't get out there and mix with other people, and the more you do and are involved in, the more you will have to talk about.
