Old age stinks

Well, I just turned 80 and sure wish I was gone home " Heaven"  he will be in Aug. 80 years........

About  two weeks ago my husband fell..................  and none of the boys
"This happened  Twice before and he went to the hospital."

were home or my son.   

WE moved in with the family in Dec.  since things were getting ?  different.

Well, after the fall he  has not been out of the bedroom.  Just to the computer in our room
and to the B.R.  with using a walker..........

Well, he was getting better, only yesterday he was a little weaker and fell again.

So we have not called for a doctor to come to the house only thing is he won't  be here
till next week some time...

The doctor is sending some medicine to the house  ?  anti bionics  Hope this will help

We do not want him to go to the hospital........ he does not want to either     

Old age stinks...............   

Since I got saved in my  fifty's .    I have wanted to go home.
But I guess God does not want me yet..........  I sure do want to go home ..........

The only thing is I wonder if we should have stayed at our place ?

8 children having to deal with this and they cant help, 3 want to but ?

So I am sitting in the bedroom  most of the time  watching sports which I am not
that happy with..... But I want him my husband to have some pleasure at this time.

I cant believe that a a doctor is giving antibiotics without even seeing him to see what is wrong. How is that going to stop him from falling?

If I'd known I was going to live as long as I have, I woulda taken better care of myself.

Well.........  I guess I forgot "oldage"     They called the doctor he last went to

This has happened  twice  before.
And his being over weight puts a strain on  moving around that is for sure.

And how do you exercise when you can not move ?

I knew a man who said that a lot. Now I know what he meant. I'm only 69, but I have several serious illnesses that could cause me serious problems and even death. I have no fear of death since "Perfect love casteth out all fear." Between the diabetes, kidney failure and bone cancer--among other things, I'm just waiting for the Lord to call me home.

I have just two fears, (1) The fear of becoming a total invalid and needing someone to do everything for me. (2) The fear of losing limbs because of the diabetes. When I was 15, I met an old man who had lost a leg to diabetes. I don't want that to happen to me. I would rather that God just put me out of my misery. I have no one to take care of me and don't have the money to hire anyone. I don't know if there's a place where they would take good care of me that I could afford. I paid very little in social security and don't expect much help there.

I guess we all have different kind of problems.

I am Blessed, with just a touch of arthritis  ...

I  have a lot of allergies with foods...... That is no fun.  No dairy and
I cant have a lot of vegetables...... 

And of course the old age  memory....

The hard part is now  with my husband gone  he passed away in
June.   Oh how I miss him..........

Some doctors (ones I call quacks) will and do prescribe meds without seeing the patient, and they even take the patients word for what he has. Many years ago I diagnosed myself as having a cold (something I have NEVER had). I called my doctor and said I had a cold and needed something for it. He said to come in and get it. I was given cold meds without seeing the doctor. When I only got worse, I went to a different doctor and found out I had bronchitis. It took me two months to get over that with three days of penicillin shots and a weeks worth of penicillin pills, and another two weeks to get my strength back. I gave up trying to diagnose myself. Now I just let the doctors misdiagnose me (or their unqualified helpers anyway).

My son who has the 8 children, was talking the other day........

And saying that there are a lot of bad doctors out there ! 
And he or his children will not go to a doctor unless it is  urgent !
He has done a lot of reading !   After he found out what the doctors did for his
wife when she was having the twins...
To much to tell you !   But he did not let them do most of it , good things........

The family eats good  and does not take pills or medicines.....
And so far  every thing is good.   The younger ones twins  are 6 years and the older chilled is  going on 16 years..   So I would say things are good here.

As I think back when I was having one of our children I should have sued the doctor.....   I was watching the birth and seen some thing go wrong  [ blood dripping]   and right away
they moved the mirror so I could not see..........    a few day's later I had
hemorrhaged..  I lost a  lot of blood they had to give me some..

So  people be careful......
