Intermittent log-out & sometimes doesn't recognize my PW?

[Psalm 31]

Hi, new here.
Since I've registered I notice I sometimes get booted out even though I have "forever" set to my log-in period. And sometimes also when I log on with the proper PW I get an error that says it is the wrong password.

Am I doing something wrong or is it something here?
Thanks for your help.

Are you using a proxy?  Proxies do not enable cookies by default.

No, but I do have a my settings to omit third party cookies. Could that be it?

[k-pappy]

No, it would not be third party cookies being disabled.

I did. I think I've got the problem fixed. Thank you for your input.
