Taking a Break to Say hello :)

So I decided to participate in Nanowrimo this month (National Novel Writers Month), 50,000 words in 30 days. Which has left my month more than a little busy, It's also the beginning of the holiday season, my birthday month, and nearly the end of this semester in College (Needless to say I'm a pretty busy girl).

I'm kind of feeling the weight of it all. I'm one of those lovely people who just happened to be blessed with being an introvert, I'm also finding my way back to Christianity. I've fallen down and gotten up more times than I can count, and I hate to say I'm that girl. The one who only comes to God when she falls down, but at the same time I think I needed to fall to understand what love truly is.

I've been struggling with some pretty powerful internal conflict with external helpers. I've never been to close to my family and relationships have taken me down some roads I never imagined as a girl I would go down.

It's time to refocus my life and bring Christ back into the fold. I don't know why it has taken me so long to see that the love I've always wanted has always been here.

Anyhow without making this a full-on bio, I live on campus in a very small town that does not have a church with the denomination in which I feel comfortable so I am lacking in a spiritual community.

I joined hoping maybe I could find at least a couple of people who are friendly and get a little bit more fellowship until I manage to try out a church or two here.

Welcome Kat. I remember that name from an old website. I have the same moniker as then, so would this be the Kat I knew then?
Nice to have you here at Grace Centered. Hope you enjoy your time here and post frequently. From your post, it's obvious you have a gift for expressing yourself in words. A terrific gift.
I would suggest that you don't have to bring Christ back into your life, but to just open your eyes a little wider. He's already here with us and just needs to be recognized and acknowledged.

It may be, but I honestly don't know its been a few years since I was in a Christian forum, the last one was a Calvinist forum I believe way back before I had even excepted Christ into my life.
