Moving on from a break up

Hi everyone,

Can we fail God if we break up with someone we are not sure/ready to marry? This person moves on and gets married.

What's the biblical view,
Did we fail God when he was calling us to marry someone or God was never calling us to marry in the first place? But still allowed us to get in a relationship in the first place for his purposes.

Not sure there is a biblical view because generally marriages were arranged then anyway. 
Never marry someone if you are not sure they are the one.  If that person is now married then stop looking back and asking yourself these questions to which you may never know the answer.  IF he/she has since married then I expect they think their spouse is the one for them and that you werent.

I was never aware that God ever called on any person to marry a certain other person.  It's a mutual decision on the part of the two individuals. And there's that gift of free will that God gave to each of us.
