Hi Everyone!

Well, howdy folks! I'm new here ... and happy I am! About me? Well, I'm 31 years old and my life has just seemingly come together in the last couple years or so. I was saved in my late teenage years - or so I thought - but I never truly had that close relationship with God that so many speak of. Not for many years, anyhow. I believe God was always knocking on my door, but I went through moments where either I didn't need God or I was angry at Him. I never denied his existence, but I never truly embraced His love that is so freely given to me. I have made so many mistakes in my life, but many of them have brought me closer to God than ever. God works in mysterious ways -- this is true! I never knew what it was like to truly rely on Him until I became a divorced single mother. He has given me SO many blessings in the last two years that I just get goosebumps thinking about how he's worked in my life. Just the sheer joy I get from blindly opening up the Bible and having a verse pop out that speaks to my hurting heart is amazing. I've fought through significant guilt that the enemy has condemned me with. I have repented over and over and over and it's taken significant time for me to realize that I AM forgiven! I have such a peace in my life now. God is good! I will always be a work in progress, but I am so happy to be going down the right path now. It's exciting to just let God take control of your life and not really know what he has in store next. I hope I can communicate with some of you on a personal level. I think we all need some sort of accountability in our lives to hold us up when we are weak. That's why I am here. I will always need good Christian fellowship.
