What Sachin Jose is pointing to is more than just a passing political statistic—it carries major prophetic significance. The fact that the leading Republican candidates are Roman Catholic is not just a coincidence; it is a preplanned trajectory. According to prophecy, the United States will ultimately form an image of the beast—understood to imitate Rome. America started out as "lamb-like"—meaning it was founded on civil and religious liberty. But God's word says that one day it will "speak like a dragon." That means it will use government power and legislation to enforce religious practices, including Sunday laws, thus moving away from the religious liberty it was originally built on.

In this work of transformation, America's leading political figures, especially U.S. presidents, play a significant role. For most of our history, this nation was Protestant. Suspicion towards Catholic political power once ran deep. During the election of John F. Kennedy, the nation openly debated whether a Catholic president could act independently of papal influence. That era is gone. Today, Catholic leadership in American politics is not controversial—it has become mainstream, normalized, and even celebrated.

This demonstrates that Protestant America no longer protests. Rome is, by its very nature, a religious-political system that claims to have changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. And since the final crisis will center on mandatory worship and Sunday legislation, Rome's growing intrusion into American political power should be considered prophetically significant. This isn't about individuals like J.D. Vance, Marco Rubio, or Ron DeSantis. The problem has to do with the "healing of the deadly wound"—a restoration of global and political influence to the Papal system after its loss of temporal power in 1798. The steady rise of Catholic influence in global affairs, combined with increasing Catholic presence at the pinnacle of American political leadership, appears consistent with that healing process.

Equally concerning is the convergence between evangelical Protestantism and Catholicism within conservative politics. Once divided by major theological differences, these groups now stand shoulder to shoulder on just about every political issue. America's religious identity is shifting and, from this perspective, will continue to do so until Washington, D.C., ultimately aligns itself with the Vatican by enforcing policies consistent with its decrees. What begins as influence moves to alignment, alignment to cooperation, and cooperation to control.

"God's Word has given warning of the impending danger; let this be unheeded, and the Protestant world will learn what the purposes of Rome really are, only when it is too late to escape the snare. She is silently growing into power. Her doctrines are exerting their influence in legislative halls, in the churches, and in the hearts of men. She is piling up her lofty and massive structures, in the secret recesses of which her former persecutions will be repeated. Stealthily and unsuspectedly she is strengthening her forces to further her own ends when the time shall come for her to strike. All that she desires is vantage-ground, and this is already being given her. We shall soon see and shall feel what the purpose of the Roman element is. A good video regarding our Christian founders, and their true intentions regarding the separation of church and state. Which neither supports the Secular Humanist views of removing all religious reference or belief from office as it were, or that of Roman Christianity which unites Church and State unto mandated "Christianity". As neither of these views either historically, or revolutionarily established in Europe during the days of our nations founding (French Revolution), were entertained by the majority of the founding peoples of these United States. Who as the video points out concerning our European emigrated peoples, were overwhelmingly Protestant well into the 19th century. The video suggests they were 98% Protestant, higher than I had reckoned, though I knew they were predominantly so.

    During the decline of the Roman empire, the opressed invoked the power of Christianity to resist the supremacy of brute force; and the merciful priest assumed the office of protector.  The tribunes of Rome, appointed by the people, had been declared inviolable by the popular vote; the new tribunes of humanity, deriving their office from religion, and ordained by religion to a still more venerable sanctity, defended the poor man's house against lust by the sacrament of marriage;  restrained arbitrary passion by a menace of the misery due to sin unrepented of and unatoned; and taught respect for the race by sprinkling every new-born child with the water of life, confirming every youth, bearing the oil of consolation to every death-bed, and sharing freely with every human being the consecrated emblem of God present with man.
    But from protectors priests grew to be usurpers.  Expressing all moral truth by the mysteries of symbols, and reserving to themselves the administration of seven sacraments, they claimed a monopoly of thought and exercised an absolute spiritual dominion.  Human bondage was strongly riveted; for they had fastened it on the affections, the understanding, and the reason.  Ordaining thier own successors, they ruled human destiny at birth, on entering active life, at marriage, when frailty breathed its confession, when faith aspired to communion with God, and at death.

That pope being the left leaning and openly anti-capitalist Francis. We all know and still feel the effects of that Presidency today, much of which Trump is combatting and or trying to correct. The question now is, what will be the effect in the near future if or when a far more right leaning Catholic is President, with the now more right leaning Pope in office? Will we not see the same striving to politically establish Roman teaching and social justice agenda, from the right leaning half as well? And what will that look like?

Regardless, it will not reflect the wishes and intents of that of our founding fathers. As the opening video clearly represented the facts regarding their intentions. The next post will be quotes from a book addressing what the author suggests the papacy intends for our nation, quoting their own words regarding such from years ago.

Chapter - THE UNITED STATES IN PROPHECY

A SAD CHANGE

We wish we could close the picture here, and leave its unmarred beauty lingering in our minds; but, sad to say, there is another chapter to it that must be read. The prophet continues' "He spake as a dragon." Revelation 13' 11. A nation speaks through its laws. This prophetic statement, therefore, reveals that a great change in policy is to come over our belov ed country. The "dragon" is a symbol of pagan Rome, that persecuted the early Christians during the first three centuries. (Revelation 12:1-5, 11.) And a similar persecution will be inaugurated against the "remnant" church, for we read: "The dragon was wroth with the woman [church], and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelation 12:17. And he has "great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." Verse 12. Here we see what is meant by speaking "as a dragon," and we also see upon whom this persecution will come; namely, upon commandment-keepers.

This prophecy also reveals what influence will be brought to bear upon our lawmakers and people to produce this sad change. We have already seen that "the first beast" of Revelation 13:1-10 represents the Papacy, and by reading the eleventh and twelfth verses we see that the effort of the lamblike beast will be to cause "the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed." That is: The whole trend is Romeward, therefore it must be Rome that is working in disguise to bring about such a trend. And now as to the facts in the case. We quote the following from Roman Catholic sources'

At the Centennial Conference of American Catholics, held in Baltimore, November, 1890, Archbishop Ireland said:

"Catholics of the United States are called... to make America Catholic .... The church triumphant in America, Catholic truth will travel on the wings of American influence. and with it encircle the universe."-" The Pope and the New Era," pp. 222, 223. London: W. T. Stead, 1890.

A letter from Rome, dated October 14, 1894, says:

"The United States of America, it can be said without exaggeration, are the chief thought of Leo XIII .... A few days ago, on receiving an eminent American, Leo XIII said to him: 'But the United States are the future; we think of them incessantly.'... That is why Leo XIII turns all his soul, full of ideality, to what is improperly called his American policy. It should be called his Catholic universal policy."-' Catholic Standard and Times" (Philadelphia), November 3, 1894; quoted in "Protestant Magazine," October, 1913, p. 441.

The report of "the third Washington conference" says: "Our purpose is to make America dominantly Catholic."-'' The Mission Movement in America," issued from the Catholic University, Washington, D. C., June, 1909.

"It seems to me that the main support of Protestantism comes from the United States and England .... If we put an end to this effort in England and the United States by making these nations predominantly Catholic, we will have removed the chief obstacle to the conversion of the world to the true faith· . . A vigorous effort in the United States at this time will reduce the opposition to an insignificant condition .... In the course of another century, the [Protestant] sects will be a study for the historian and antiquarian along with Arianism."-Extract from a letter in "The Missionary" (Roman Catholic), Washington, D. C.: May, 1910; quoted in "Protestant Magazine," Vol. II, p. 22.

This Catholic movement has already made such progress in England, that, with a little careful manipulation, its leaders anticipate very little opposition in the future. (See "History of the Romeward Movement in the Church of England," London: 1900, and "The Secret History of the Oxford Movement," London: 1899, both by Walter Walsh; and "The Oxford Movement in America," by Rev. C. E. Walworth, New York: 1895;

MAKING AMERICA CATHOLIC

The Roman hierarchy knew that the older Protestants, who had read about the persecutions of the Dark Ages, and who knew some of the inside workings of the papal church, would never become Catholics. Rome's hope lay in capturing the younger generation. If the Papacy could cover up those dark pages of its history, when it waded in the blood of martyrs, and could appear in the beautiful modern dress of a real champion for liberty, as a lover of science, art, and education, it would appeal to the American youth, and the battle would be won.

The Jesuits, who through years of experience in Europe, have become experts in molding young minds, are now establishing schools everywhere, that are patronized by thousands of Protestant youth. They have also undertaken the delicate task of Romanizing the textbooks of our public schools, and books of reference, in order to cover up their past, and to whitewash the Dark Ages. That Romanists desire to cover up their past record of bloody persecution is acknowledged by that honorable Roman Catholic author, Alfred Baudrillart, Rector of the Catholic Institute of Paris. After giving a frank statement of the many persecutions of which his church is guilty, he says in the words of Mgr. d'Hulst:

"Indeed, even among our friends and our brothers we find those who dare not look this problem in the face. They ask permission from the Church to ignore or even to deny all those facts and institutions in the past which have made orthodoxy compulsory.'''-'' The Catholic Church; the Renaissance and Protestantism,'' Alfred Archeveque Cardinal BaudrilIart, pp. I83, 184.

ROMANIZING TEXTBOOKS

In the first place, all general histories used in our public schools and high schools had to be revised to eliminate every bishops as before. The priest's education is to be thoroughly revised and modernized-with special attention to modern propaganda methods. In addition there will be established in each country a central bureau, responsible only to Rome, to combat red agitation with every political weapon available .... The church must fight, and at once.

"Coughlin has shown us the way of getting at the modern man. He has embarrassed us by showing and using the political power of the church so openly .... We know how to tackle America today, and that is our most important problem at the moment.

"Pacelli is contacting the American cardinals and leading Catholic personalities,... to explain the Vatican's plan for the new crusade .... The Catholic political organizations in the large cities, like Tammany Hall, will give the church a good lever. Those contacts are also being carefully inspected by the pope's minister.

"The Vatican itself resembles a general staff headquarters preparing plans and arms for a big offensive. Since the time of the Counter- Reformation, churchmen say, no such extensive reorganization of personnel and propaganda methods has been undertaken. The whole world-wide net of Catholic organizations and sub- organizations is being contacted directly from Rome and cleared for action. The church is to be adjusted to modern political, social, and cultural conditions"-P. 10, col. 3, 4, used by permission.

This article speaks of Eugenio Cardinal Pacelli, then papal secretary of state, coming from the Vatican to effect the above. mentioned reorganization. He toured the United States "in a chartered airplane." Christian Science Monitor says: "The visit of a high Roman prelate to the United States on the eve of an election is as unprecedented as it is delicate"-Oct. 2, 1926.

This Catholic plan of conquest was well understood years ago. An illustration in Harper's Weekly of October 1, 1870, pictured the pope pointing to America as "The Promised Land," also "The Jesuits and the British Press," by Michael J. F. McCarthy).

Now the "Catholic Action" is focused on America, not in an antagonistic way, but quietly, in wisely planned, systematically organized, and well directed efforts along numerous lines, so as to gain favor among Protestants, and not to be suspected as propaganda. And, remarkable as it may sound, Protestant leaders and people are totally asleep on the Catholic question, even more so than the Huguenots were in France before the St. Bartholomew's Massacre.

Dr. E. Boyd Barrett, for many years a Jesuit, and still a Roman Catholic, as far as the author knows, has the following to say about the plans of his church:

"In theory, Catholic Action is the work and service of lay Catholics in the cause of religion, under the guidance of the bishops. In practice it is the Catholic group fighting their way to control America"-"Rome Stoops to Conquer," p. 15. New York: 1935.

"The effort, the fight, may be drawn out. It may last for five or ten years. Even if it last for twenty-what is twenty years in the life of Rome? The fight must be fought to a finish-opposition must be worn down if it cannot be swept away. Rome's immortal destiny hangs on the outcome. That destiny overshadows the land.

"And in the fight, as she has ever fought when battles were most desperate in the past, Rome will use steel, and gold, and silvery lies. Rome will stoop to conquer."-Id., pp. 266, 267.

In a communication from Vatican City, published in the Saint Paul Pioneer Press, November 4, 1936, we read:

"Pope Pius feels that the United States is the ideal base for Catholicism's great drive ....

"The Catholic Movement, Rome's militant organization numbering millions all over the world, will be marshaled direct from Rome by Monsignor Pizzardo-next to Pacelli the Holy See's shrewdest diplomat and politician-instead of by the localtrace of the objectionable features from their pages. Plain historical facts of the Middle Ages,-such as the popes' interference with public government (as in the case of Henry IV, Emperor of Germany, A. D. 1077, and King John of England, A. D. 1213); the persecution of Waldenses, Albigenses, and Huguenots; the Inquisition; the sale of indulgences; and the Reformation,-all had to be eliminated or rewritten so as to exonerate the Papacy, and brand its opponents simply as political offenders and revolutionists, who suffered at the hand of the civil government, instead of being persecuted by the Church for their religion.

Such radical changes could never have been accomplished so quietly if Protestantism had not been asleep. At times it became necessary to create public sentiment against a certain textbook through newspaper articles written by some learned Catholic professor, and then pressure was brought to bear on school boards to eliminate it, substituting for it a Romanized book. Thus Swinton's "Outlines of History" was thrown out of the schools, and "Anderson's History" was blacklisted, but later revised according to Catholic wishes, and brought back to take the place of Swinton's. Myers's "Medieval and Modern History" was also censored. At first the author refused to change it, claiming "history is history," but later it was revised and came into quite general use for a time. Not all of this was done in the dark. As one example of protest we refer the reader to Senate Document on Public Hearing before the United States Committee on Education and Labor, Friday, February 15, 1889, and Friday, February 22, 1889, on "Senate Resolution No. 86: Proposing an Amendment to the Constitution of the United States Respecting Establishment of Religion and Free Public Schools," which unmasks some of this work. We shall now point out two of the vital changes made in our textbooks:

(1) The Catholic Church will never acknowledge the Reformation of the sixteenth century as a reform, but brands it as a "revolt" against the authority of the pope, and as a "revolution." A sure earmark, therefore, of all Romanized textbooks is the fact that they never speak of the Reformation as a work of reform but as "the Protestant Revolt," "the Protestant Revolution," "the so-called Reformation," or "what is called the Reformation." Let any one look it up in the schoolbooks used by his children, and see for himself.

To give the readers who may not have seen the textbooks used in our schools today an idea of what the Protestant children are taught, we shall take the "History of Western Europe," by Professor J. II. Robinson, as an example. It has the following chapters on the Reformation of the sixteenth century: chapter 24, "Germany Before the Protestant Revolt"; chapter 25, "Martin Luther and His Revolt Against the Church"; chapter 26, "Course of the Protestant Revolt in Germany"; chapter 27, "The Protestant Revolt in Switzerland and England." Chapter 25 says: "As Luther became a confessed revolutionist, he began to find friends among other revolutionists and reformers."-P. 393. Chapter 28 takes up the effort of the Catholics to destroy the Reformation by a counterreform, by the work of the Jesuits, and the bloody persecution of Protestants in Spain, in the Netherlands, and France. This chapter is entitled: "The Catholic Reformation," and yet it comes the farthest from deserving the title of reformation of all the above- mentioned chapters. In these Romanized textbooks the historical facts of the Middle Ages are entirely reversed. The way the last-mentioned chapter extols the Jesuits shows who has put their stamp on the book. Senator Thomas E. Watson truthfully says:

"In the public schools the Catholics have stealthily introduced textbooks written by Jesuits; and your children are being taught that the Roman church was misunderstood in the past; that its doctrines are not fatal to humanity and gospel religion; that its record is not saturated with the blood of innocent millions, murdered by papal persecutors, and that there never was such a monstrosity as the alleged sale of papal pardons of sins.

"Educate youth in this Catholic way, and the consequences are
logical."-"Roman Catholics in America Falsifying History and Poisoning the Minds of Protestant School Children," p. 5. Thompson, Ga.: 1928.

SALE OF INDULGENCES

Histories used in the public schools in the United States up to the year 1900 were opposed by the Roman Catholic Church on the ground that they were not stating the truth about "indulgences.'' These histories simply stated that Martin Luther began the Reformation by opposing Tetzel's sale of indulgences, which is a historical fact.

"An Introduction to the History of Western Europe," by Professor J. H. Robinson, says:

"It is a common mistake of Protestants to suppose that the indulgence was forgiveness granted beforehand for sins to be committed in the future. There is absolutely no foundation for this idea"-P. 391. Ginn and Co.: 1903.

This statement is copied on page 311 in "A General History of Europe," by Robinson, Breasted, and Smith, a textbook quite generally used of late. We shall leave it with the reader to judge whether such statements actually represent the Protestant conception of "indulgences," or whether they are part of a program to cover up historical facts; and we would respectfully ask: Are not American youth entitled to know the unvarnished facts of history?

The historical facts about "indulgences," gathered from unquestionable sources, are found on pages 162-172 of this book. It is here shown that the idea of "indulgences" had so degenerated between the eleventh and the sixteenth centuries, that they were actually sold for money. Tetzel's "Indulgences" read: I "absolve thee... from all thy sins, transgressions and excesses.., and I restore thee.., to that innocence and purity which thou possessedst at baptism; so that, when thou diest, the gates of punishment shall be shut, and the gates of the paradise of delight shall be open."- Coxe's "House of Austria," Vol. I, p. 385. London: George Bell and Sons, 1906.

REVISING BOOKS OF REFERENCE

The next step in the papal plan was to revise all books of reference, such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, and larger historical works, so as to mold the minds not only of pupils but also of teachers and of preachers. An example of this is seen in the revision of the New International Encyclopedia. The editor of the Catholic Mirror (at that time the official organ of Cardinal Gibbons), in a lengthy editorial, dated October 28, 1905, tells of how the publishers of that Encyclopedia cooperated with the Jesuits in revising it. He quoted the following letter from the Rev. Thomas J. Campbell, S. J., which he had just received:

"Dodd, Mead and Co. sent their representatives to us, and not only expressed a desire to avoid misstatements in their encyclopedia, but asked for some one to excise whatever might be offensive .... Mr. Conde B. Pallen took the matter in hand, and was afforded full liberty to revise and correct not only the topics which dealt professedly with Catholic subjects but those also which might have even an indirect bearing on them .... The firm has done all in its power to make it acceptable to Catholics."- Quoted in "Liberty," Vol. V, No. 3, pp. 34, 35. Washington, D. C., I910.

After this was done, every effort was made to get this New International Encyclopedia into the hands of all Protestant ministers in this country, who were unaware of its Romanlzed features. Its molding influence was soon seen in the striking similarity in viewpoint (on many subjects) between the Roman theology and that of the Protestant pulpit and press, and this is becoming more so now after practically all encyclopedias have been Romanized. Even Webster's Dictionary has not been allowed to speak its old familiar truths any more. We read:

"Time was when complaint was common that injustice was done to the Catholics in 'Webster's Dictionary.' There is no room for such a thing in the new 'Webster's International Dictionary,' issued by G. and C. Merriam Co., Springfield, Mass., because Vicar-General Callaghan, of the diocese of Little Rock, has revised and edited everything appertaining to the church." -" Freeman's Journal" of New York, May 28, 1892. Since then a Catholic official has been regularly connected with the editorial staff, whenever a new revision was made, as can be seen in the preface of later editions.

Suppose, in the next encyclopedia, we ask brewery officials to edit everything pertaining to temperance and the liquor question, and ask the officials of Wall Street to edit all that pertains to capital and labor, would we then get a more correct and unbiased representation of these subjects? We ask why, then, should Roman Catholic officials edit everything pertaining to the Protestant controversy with Rome?

At the First American Catholic Missionary Congress, held at Chicago, November 17, 1908, Dr. William McGinnis outlined the program of the International Catholic Truth Society for making America Catholic:

(1) by Romanizing our schoolbooks,

(2) by revising our books of reference,

(3) by controlling the daily press,

(4) by capturing the libraries. He said in part:

"A few years ago the publishers of an encyclopedia in twelve volumes entered the office of the Truth Society and said: 'We realize there are many misstatements and errors regarding things Catholic in this work, but we put the whole edition in your hands and will accept every correction you make and every addition which you wish to insert.'... So, likewise, one of the largest publishing houses of the United States, a house that supplies perhaps one third of the textbooks used in the public schools of America, asked that certain books might be examined and erroneous statements and unjust charges against the Church be corrected .... And we are happy to say that in practically every case these misrepresentations of the Church that otherwise would have gone into the minds of millions of children were courteously corrected by gentlemanly authors."-" The Two Great American Catholic Missionary Congresses," pp. 427, 428. Chicago: J. S. Hyland and Co., 1914.

Many Protestant parents would not send their children to Catholic parochial schools, but they will allow them to be taught the same thing from Romanized textbooks, without any protest!

We ask, What made the More-mentioned publishers so anxious to have the Catholics revise the public schoolbooks and encyclopedias, which they intended to publish? Why did they not go to some Protestant organization to have the books revised? Was it because Protestants are not educated? Certainly not! But these publishers knew from experience, that, unless the books were Romanized, Catholic societies would stir up such opposition against their use, that it would result in financial loss to the publishers. Dr. McGinnis tells the secret when he relates how he had urged the Knights of Columbus to "wake up" and "form a committee," to examine the "histories of education in use in high schools and normal schools." He says: "The spirit of Knighthood was not dead in that Council, the subject was investigated, the book I had quoted from was the textbook of the class, and, after much discussion, it was removed from the curriculum of the school."-Id., pp. 423, 424.

Any one who will take the trouble to examine the textbooks used in our public schools before 1900, and compare them with those used after this Romanizing propaganda began, wi1l discover the fact that the Romanizing features have been introduced gradually into a series of textbooks, the one taking the place of the other as fast as the public could assimilate the Catholic sentiments and phraseology, and the same is true regarding books of reference.

MUZZLING THE PUBLIC PRESS

Dr. McGinnis also spoke of their plans regarding the daily papers. He said: "We may consider briefly the program of the International Catholic Truth Society in reference to two great agencies in the formation of the minds and hearts of the great American people, — the press and the public libraries.

"Our daily press... mold the thought and influence the will of the country .... We do demand that the great Catholic Church, in her saving doctrines and in her marvelous activities, should be brought more prominently before the American public."-Id., p. 419.

Dr. McGinnis further stated that arrangements had been made with the Vatican for Catholic reporters all over the world to furnish material for the "Truth Society" to be used in the daily press, and then he says:

"With a membership of two or three thousand scholarly, zealous priests and laymen, and the headquarters of the Society acting as a clearing house, calumnies would not remain unanswered, misstatements of doctrines would be corrected."-Id., pp. 420, 421.

"We realize, moreover, that refutations and corrections, valuable though they be, are not sufficient. We want to carry the campaign a little farther. We want to make of the press of this country a positive agency in the dissemination of Catholic ideas .... We are now furnishing on the first and third Sundays of each month one column or a column and a half of positive Catholic matter to daily papers .... But the 'Notes and Comments'... deal with such topics as the conversion of some distinguished scholar, the life work of a recently deceased Catholic who was eminent in the domain of physical science, archeological discoveries bearing upon Christian doctrine, important congresses abroad .... If the demands of our people prove that the new feature is appreciated, the 'service' will become weekly, and it will bring light and sympathy for things Catholic to many millions of readers."-Id., pp. 421,422.

"The demands" must have proved successful, for instead of this "new feature" appearing weekly, articles and notes seem to appear almost daily. Though it is legitimate for religious denominations to make use of the public press, for them to muzzle the freedom of the press is not legitimate! When large religious organizations parade their great number of adherents and bring pressure to bear on the press, threatening nonsupport if the other side appears in its columns, while they monopolize them with their own propaganda, such organizations lose the respect of thinking people.

CAPTURING THE PUBLIC LIBRARIE

At the before-mentioned Catholic Congress plans were also laid for making the public libraries agencies in their propaganda. Dr. McGinnis says:

"Another force, second only to the school and the press in shaping the thoughts of the nation, is the public library system of the United States .... I ask why, in the name of the God of truth, is the great Catholic Church excluded from the shelves of the public libraries of the United States?... Create a strong, legitimate demand for Catholic literature, and the public libraries will meet the demand."- Id., pp.422,423.

But how did that Congress propose to "create" this strong "demand" for Catholic books? Here is their scheme: They will supply their people with lists of books to be asked for at the libraries, and when several hundred or thousand people have called for the same books, it will create a demand.

"The demand for such literature must be brought to the public libraries. We wish to emphasize the fact that the demand must be made in good faith-the books are called for at the library because the man wants to read them. The International Catholic Truth Society will supply general and special lists of books, and the Spiritual Director... will... designate appropriate works for individual members. From this widespread bona fide demand for Catholic works at public libraries three results will follow. [It will help the members.] Their work will be instrumental in placing these books within the reach of the great non-Catholic American public, who will thus have some opportunity to find out what the Church's doctrines and practices really are, and finally the increased circulation of such literature will be a well-deserved and much- needed stimulus to Catholic writers."-Id., p. 424. See also "Catholic Digest," March, 1937, pp. 126, 127, and "America," September 13, 1913, pp. 547, 548.

Mr. Michael J. F. McCarty, of England, gives us some interesting facts regarding a similar work done by Jesuits in England. He says that they suppress books of Protestant authors, and bring to the front those of Catholics, and as a result of this systematic work, he says:

"Many Protestant authors are forced to speak favorably and kindly of Romanism .... The publication of books containing friendly allusion to Protestant Christianity has almost ceased in England, [while the other kind of books] floods the country."-"The Jesuits and the British Press," p. 52. Edinburgh and London: 1910.

But, in addition to this, the Jesuits always have a man, either a priest or a layman, on the committee of almost every public library in Great Britain.

"The Jesuits' man comes provided with two lists, a black list, which includes every well-known book, ancient and modern, adverse to Romanism; and a white list of new books especially [avorable to Romanism which he submits beforehand to the librarian, and eventually succeeds in getting placed in the library."-Pp. 50, 51.

It is quite evident from our investigation of the facts that the Jesuits are the same in America as in England. Besides this, the few remaining books from the days when it was not so unpopular to state the unvarnished facts about medieval history have been diminishing in number by being worn out or purposely destroyed.

CENSORSHIP OF BOOKS

Those who write histories today have more source matter on ancient history, but less on medieval, than historians had four hundred years ago; for after the Reformation had fully aroused the papal church to action, her emissaries, especially the vigilant Jesuits, searched out and destroyed every evidence that was damaging to her. When Bishop Gilbert Burnet, D. D., prepared to write his "History of the English Reformation," he became surprised, while searching among court records and public registers, to find so much missing, till he finally discovered the cause. He says:

"In the search I made of the Rolls and other offices, I wondered much to miss several commissions, patents, and other writings, which by clear evidence I knew were granted, and yet none of them appeared on record.

"But as I continued down my search to the fourth year of Queen Mary, I found in the twelfth roll of that year, a commission which cleared all my former doubts, and by which I saw what was become of the things I had so anxiously searched after. We have heard of the expurgation of books practiced in the Church of Rome; but it might have been imagined that public registers and records would have been safe; yet lest these should have been afterwards confessors, it was resolved they should then be martyrs; for on the 29th of December, in the fourth year of her reign, a commission was issued out under the great seal to Bonner, Bishop of London, Cole, Dean of St. Paul's, and Martine, a doctor of the civil law, [which commanded the destruction of] divers compts, books, scrolls, instruments ....

"When I saw this, I soon knew which way so many writings had gone"-"History of the Reformation of the Church of England,'' 2- vol. ed., Vol. I, Preface, p. xiii. London: 1880.

Let no one, therefore, say that statements in older histories are not true because we cannot now find sources to prove them.

The reader may not know that back of all this activity stands the Roman Curia, one department of which is the Sacred Congregation of the Index, which meets at Rome on stated days to decide what books are forbidden, and to make lists of them, called "The Index of Prohibited Books."* The writer has examined two editions of this "Index," one early edition, and their latest one of 1930 by Pope Plus XI. Some books are permanently forbidden, while others are forbidden until certain corrections are made in them, which explains the revisions of our schoolbooks, for the "Index" says:

"Can. 1396. Books condemned by the Holy See are prohibited all over the world and in whatever language into which they may have been translated.

"Can. 1397, Sec. 1. It is the duty of all the faithful, particularly of clerics, or those holding high positions and noted for their learning, to denounce any book, they may consider dangerous, to the local Ordinaries, or to the Holy See ....

"Sec. 3. Those to whom such denunciations are made are bound in conscience not to reveal the names of the accusers.

"Sec. 4. Local Ordinaries, either directly themselves, or through the agency of capable priests, are in duty bound to keep a close watch on the books that are published, or sold, within their territory ....
 
"Can. 1398, Sec. 1. The condemnation of a book entails the prohibition, without especial permission, either to publish, to read, to keep, to sell, to translate it, or in any way to pass it on to others.

"Sec. 2. A book which has been prohibited in any way may not be republished, unless, after the necessary corrections have been made."-"Index," of 1930, pp. xvi, xvii. Vatican Polyglot Press.

The Catholic Encyclopedia has this to say about the "Censorship of Books": "In general, censorship of books is a supervision of the press in order to prevent any abuse of it.

"The reverse of censorship is freedom of the press."- Vol. III, p. 519.

This "supervision of the press" extends also to articles written in magazines and newspapers, and among the special organizations working in this field is the International Catholic Truth Society, and the Catholic International Associated Press. Reporting the Louisville federation convention of the latter, Michael Kenny, S. J., in America (a Jesuit weekly) for August 31, 1912, says of their Catholic Press Bureau:

"We have it in our power to compel our papers, the thinking machines of the people, to tell the truth and refrain from transmitting slanders on Catholic matters. We can prevent the wells at which the people drink from being poisoned. We can, follow-lng the lead of the Austrian Catholic Congress, establish a Catholic International Associated Press, and to accomplish this object every Catholic of the right spirit, reading in the daily papers calumnies of our religion and the most brazen justification of the robber bands who drive our religious from their homes and confiscate their property, should be willing to contribute a tithe of his possessions. All this and more can be accomplished by federated action .... Marching shoulder-to shoulder with the spirit of soldiers on the battlefield at the call of the Church, we can successfully combat the organizations of her enemies and make this an era of Catholic manhood."-"America," August 31, 19I2, p. 486, article by M. Kenny, S. J.

As a result of this organized effort no newspapers in the United States will accept any news that reflects unfavorably on the Catholic Church or its propaganda in this country, while news unfavorable to Protestants is printed.

Chapter - THE UNITED STATES IN PROPHECY

A SAD CHANGE

We wish we could close the picture here, and leave its unmarred beauty lingering in our minds; but, sad to say, there is another chapter to it that must be read. The prophet continues' "He spake as a dragon." Revelation 13' 11. A nation speaks through its laws. This prophetic statement, therefore, reveals that a great change in policy is to come over our belov ed country. The "dragon" is a symbol of pagan Rome, that persecuted the early Christians during the first three centuries. (Revelation 12:1-5, 11.) And a similar persecution will be inaugurated against the "remnant" church, for we read: "The dragon was wroth with the woman [church], and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelation 12:17. And he has "great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." Verse 12. Here we see what is meant by speaking "as a dragon," and we also see upon whom this persecution will come; namely, upon commandment-keepers.

This prophecy also reveals what influence will be brought to bear upon our lawmakers and people to produce this sad change. We have already seen that "the first beast" of Revelation 13:1-10 represents the Papacy, and by reading the eleventh and twelfth verses we see that the effort of the lamblike beast will be to cause "the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed." That is: The whole trend is Romeward, therefore it must be Rome that is working in disguise to bring about such a trend. And now as to the facts in the case. We quote the following from Roman Catholic sources'

At the Centennial Conference of American Catholics, held in Baltimore, November, 1890, Archbishop Ireland said:

"Catholics of the United States are called... to make America Catholic .... The church triumphant in America, Catholic truth will travel on the wings of American influence. and with it encircle the universe."-" The Pope and the New Era," pp. 222, 223. London: W. T. Stead, 1890.

A letter from Rome, dated October 14, 1894, says:

"The United States of America, it can be said without exaggeration, are the chief thought of Leo XIII .... A few days ago, on receiving an eminent American, Leo XIII said to him: 'But the United States are the future; we think of them incessantly.'... That is why Leo XIII turns all his soul, full of ideality, to what is improperly called his American policy. It should be called his Catholic universal policy."-' Catholic Standard and Times" (Philadelphia), November 3, 1894; quoted in "Protestant Magazine," October, 1913, p. 441.

The report of "the third Washington conference" says: "Our purpose is to make America dominantly Catholic."-'' The Mission Movement in America," issued from the Catholic University, Washington, D. C., June, 1909.

"It seems to me that the main support of Protestantism comes from the United States and England .... If we put an end to this effort in England and the United States by making these nations predominantly Catholic, we will have removed the chief obstacle to the conversion of the world to the true faith· . . A vigorous effort in the United States at this time will reduce the opposition to an insignificant condition .... In the course of another century, the [Protestant] sects will be a study for the historian and antiquarian along with Arianism."-Extract from a letter in "The Missionary" (Roman Catholic), Washington, D. C.: May, 1910; quoted in "Protestant Magazine," Vol. II, p. 22.

This Catholic movement has already made such progress in England, that, with a little careful manipulation, its leaders anticipate very little opposition in the future. (See "History of the Romeward Movement in the Church of England," London: 1900, and "The Secret History of the Oxford Movement," London: 1899, both by Walter Walsh; and "The Oxford Movement in America," by Rev. C. E. Walworth, New York: 1895;

MAKING AMERICA CATHOLIC

The Roman hierarchy knew that the older Protestants, who had read about the persecutions of the Dark Ages, and who knew some of the inside workings of the papal church, would never become Catholics. Rome's hope lay in capturing the younger generation. If the Papacy could cover up those dark pages of its history, when it waded in the blood of martyrs, and could appear in the beautiful modern dress of a real champion for liberty, as a lover of science, art, and education, it would appeal to the American youth, and the battle would be won.

The Jesuits, who through years of experience in Europe, have become experts in molding young minds, are now establishing schools everywhere, that are patronized by thousands of Protestant youth. They have also undertaken the delicate task of Romanizing the textbooks of our public schools, and books of reference, in order to cover up their past, and to whitewash the Dark Ages. That Romanists desire to cover up their past record of bloody persecution is acknowledged by that honorable Roman Catholic author, Alfred Baudrillart, Rector of the Catholic Institute of Paris. After giving a frank statement of the many persecutions of which his church is guilty, he says in the words of Mgr. d'Hulst:

"Indeed, even among our friends and our brothers we find those who dare not look this problem in the face. They ask permission from the Church to ignore or even to deny all those facts and institutions in the past which have made orthodoxy compulsory.'''-'' The Catholic Church; the Renaissance and Protestantism,'' Alfred Archeveque Cardinal BaudrilIart, pp. I83, 184.

ROMANIZING TEXTBOOKS

In the first place, all general histories used in our public schools and high schools had to be revised to eliminate every bishops as before. The priest's education is to be thoroughly revised and modernized-with special attention to modern propaganda methods. In addition there will be established in each country a central bureau, responsible only to Rome, to combat red agitation with every political weapon available .... The church must fight, and at once.

"Coughlin has shown us the way of getting at the modern man. He has embarrassed us by showing and using the political power of the church so openly .... We know how to tackle America today, and that is our most important problem at the moment.

"Pacelli is contacting the American cardinals and leading Catholic personalities,... to explain the Vatican's plan for the new crusade .... The Catholic political organizations in the large cities, like Tammany Hall, will give the church a good lever. Those contacts are also being carefully inspected by the pope's minister.

"The Vatican itself resembles a general staff headquarters preparing plans and arms for a big offensive. Since the time of the Counter- Reformation, churchmen say, no such extensive reorganization of personnel and propaganda methods has been undertaken. The whole world-wide net of Catholic organizations and sub- organizations is being contacted directly from Rome and cleared for action. The church is to be adjusted to modern political, social, and cultural conditions"-P. 10, col. 3, 4, used by permission.

This article speaks of Eugenio Cardinal Pacelli, then papal secretary of state, coming from the Vatican to effect the above. mentioned reorganization. He toured the United States "in a chartered airplane." Christian Science Monitor says: "The visit of a high Roman prelate to the United States on the eve of an election is as unprecedented as it is delicate"-Oct. 2, 1926.

This Catholic plan of conquest was well understood years ago. An illustration in Harper's Weekly of October 1, 1870, pictured the pope pointing to America as "The Promised Land," also "The Jesuits and the British Press," by Michael J. F. McCarthy).

Now the "Catholic Action" is focused on America, not in an antagonistic way, but quietly, in wisely planned, systematically organized, and well directed efforts along numerous lines, so as to gain favor among Protestants, and not to be suspected as propaganda. And, remarkable as it may sound, Protestant leaders and people are totally asleep on the Catholic question, even more so than the Huguenots were in France before the St. Bartholomew's Massacre.

Dr. E. Boyd Barrett, for many years a Jesuit, and still a Roman Catholic, as far as the author knows, has the following to say about the plans of his church:

"In theory, Catholic Action is the work and service of lay Catholics in the cause of religion, under the guidance of the bishops. In practice it is the Catholic group fighting their way to control America"-"Rome Stoops to Conquer," p. 15. New York: 1935.

"The effort, the fight, may be drawn out. It may last for five or ten years. Even if it last for twenty-what is twenty years in the life of Rome? The fight must be fought to a finish-opposition must be worn down if it cannot be swept away. Rome's immortal destiny hangs on the outcome. That destiny overshadows the land.

"And in the fight, as she has ever fought when battles were most desperate in the past, Rome will use steel, and gold, and silvery lies. Rome will stoop to conquer."-Id., pp. 266, 267.

In a communication from Vatican City, published in the Saint Paul Pioneer Press, November 4, 1936, we read:

"Pope Pius feels that the United States is the ideal base for Catholicism's great drive ....

"The Catholic Movement, Rome's militant organization numbering millions all over the world, will be marshaled direct from Rome by Monsignor Pizzardo-next to Pacelli the Holy See's shrewdest diplomat and politician-instead of by the localtrace of the objectionable features from their pages. Plain historical facts of the Middle Ages,-such as the popes' interference with public government (as in the case of Henry IV, Emperor of Germany, A. D. 1077, and King John of England, A. D. 1213); the persecution of Waldenses, Albigenses, and Huguenots; the Inquisition; the sale of indulgences; and the Reformation,-all had to be eliminated or rewritten so as to exonerate the Papacy, and brand its opponents simply as political offenders and revolutionists, who suffered at the hand of the civil government, instead of being persecuted by the Church for their religion.

Such radical changes could never have been accomplished so quietly if Protestantism had not been asleep. At times it became necessary to create public sentiment against a certain textbook through newspaper articles written by some learned Catholic professor, and then pressure was brought to bear on school boards to eliminate it, substituting for it a Romanized book. Thus Swinton's "Outlines of History" was thrown out of the schools, and "Anderson's History" was blacklisted, but later revised according to Catholic wishes, and brought back to take the place of Swinton's. Myers's "Medieval and Modern History" was also censored. At first the author refused to change it, claiming "history is history," but later it was revised and came into quite general use for a time. Not all of this was done in the dark. As one example of protest we refer the reader to Senate Document on Public Hearing before the United States Committee on Education and Labor, Friday, February 15, 1889, and Friday, February 22, 1889, on "Senate Resolution No. 86: Proposing an Amendment to the Constitution of the United States Respecting Establishment of Religion and Free Public Schools," which unmasks some of this work. We shall now point out two of the vital changes made in our textbooks:

(1) The Catholic Church will never acknowledge the Reformation of the sixteenth century as a reform, but brands it as a "revolt" against the authority of the pope, and as a "revolution." A sure earmark, therefore, of all Romanized textbooks is the fact that they never speak of the Reformation as a work of reform but as "the Protestant Revolt," "the Protestant Revolution," "the so-called Reformation," or "what is called the Reformation." Let any one look it up in the schoolbooks used by his children, and see for himself.

To give the readers who may not have seen the textbooks used in our schools today an idea of what the Protestant children are taught, we shall take the "History of Western Europe," by Professor J. II. Robinson, as an example. It has the following chapters on the Reformation of the sixteenth century: chapter 24, "Germany Before the Protestant Revolt"; chapter 25, "Martin Luther and His Revolt Against the Church"; chapter 26, "Course of the Protestant Revolt in Germany"; chapter 27, "The Protestant Revolt in Switzerland and England." Chapter 25 says: "As Luther became a confessed revolutionist, he began to find friends among other revolutionists and reformers."-P. 393. Chapter 28 takes up the effort of the Catholics to destroy the Reformation by a counterreform, by the work of the Jesuits, and the bloody persecution of Protestants in Spain, in the Netherlands, and France. This chapter is entitled: "The Catholic Reformation," and yet it comes the farthest from deserving the title of reformation of all the above- mentioned chapters. In these Romanized textbooks the historical facts of the Middle Ages are entirely reversed. The way the last-mentioned chapter extols the Jesuits shows who has put their stamp on the book. Senator Thomas E. Watson truthfully says:

"In the public schools the Catholics have stealthily introduced textbooks written by Jesuits; and your children are being taught that the Roman church was misunderstood in the past; that its doctrines are not fatal to humanity and gospel religion; that its record is not saturated with the blood of innocent millions, murdered by papal persecutors, and that there never was such a monstrosity as the alleged sale of papal pardons of sins.

"Educate youth in this Catholic way, and the consequences are
logical."-"Roman Catholics in America Falsifying History and Poisoning the Minds of Protestant School Children," p. 5. Thompson, Ga.: 1928.

SALE OF INDULGENCES

Histories used in the public schools in the United States up to the year 1900 were opposed by the Roman Catholic Church on the ground that they were not stating the truth about "indulgences.'' These histories simply stated that Martin Luther began the Reformation by opposing Tetzel's sale of indulgences, which is a historical fact.

"An Introduction to the History of Western Europe," by Professor J. H. Robinson, says:

"It is a common mistake of Protestants to suppose that the indulgence was forgiveness granted beforehand for sins to be committed in the future. There is absolutely no foundation for this idea"-P. 391. Ginn and Co.: 1903.

This statement is copied on page 311 in "A General History of Europe," by Robinson, Breasted, and Smith, a textbook quite generally used of late. We shall leave it with the reader to judge whether such statements actually represent the Protestant conception of "indulgences," or whether they are part of a program to cover up historical facts; and we would respectfully ask: Are not American youth entitled to know the unvarnished facts of history?

The historical facts about "indulgences," gathered from unquestionable sources, are found on pages 162-172 of this book. It is here shown that the idea of "indulgences" had so degenerated between the eleventh and the sixteenth centuries, that they were actually sold for money. Tetzel's "Indulgences" read: I "absolve thee... from all thy sins, transgressions and excesses.., and I restore thee.., to that innocence and purity which thou possessedst at baptism; so that, when thou diest, the gates of punishment shall be shut, and the gates of the paradise of delight shall be open."- Coxe's "House of Austria," Vol. I, p. 385. London: George Bell and Sons, 1906.

REVISING BOOKS OF REFERENCE

The next step in the papal plan was to revise all books of reference, such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, and larger historical works, so as to mold the minds not only of pupils but also of teachers and of preachers. An example of this is seen in the revision of the New International Encyclopedia. The editor of the Catholic Mirror (at that time the official organ of Cardinal Gibbons), in a lengthy editorial, dated October 28, 1905, tells of how the publishers of that Encyclopedia cooperated with the Jesuits in revising it. He quoted the following letter from the Rev. Thomas J. Campbell, S. J., which he had just received:

"Dodd, Mead and Co. sent their representatives to us, and not only expressed a desire to avoid misstatements in their encyclopedia, but asked for some one to excise whatever might be offensive .... Mr. Conde B. Pallen took the matter in hand, and was afforded full liberty to revise and correct not only the topics which dealt professedly with Catholic subjects but those also which might have even an indirect bearing on them .... The firm has done all in its power to make it acceptable to Catholics."- Quoted in "Liberty," Vol. V, No. 3, pp. 34, 35. Washington, D. C., I910.

After this was done, every effort was made to get this New International Encyclopedia into the hands of all Protestant ministers in this country, who were unaware of its Romanlzed features. Its molding influence was soon seen in the striking similarity in viewpoint (on many subjects) between the Roman theology and that of the Protestant pulpit and press, and this is becoming more so now after practically all encyclopedias have been Romanized. Even Webster's Dictionary has not been allowed to speak its old familiar truths any more. We read:

"Time was when complaint was common that injustice was done to the Catholics in 'Webster's Dictionary.' There is no room for such a thing in the new 'Webster's International Dictionary,' issued by G. and C. Merriam Co., Springfield, Mass., because Vicar-General Callaghan, of the diocese of Little Rock, has revised and edited everything appertaining to the church." -" Freeman's Journal" of New York, May 28, 1892. Since then a Catholic official has been regularly connected with the editorial staff, whenever a new revision was made, as can be seen in the preface of later editions.

Suppose, in the next encyclopedia, we ask brewery officials to edit everything pertaining to temperance and the liquor question, and ask the officials of Wall Street to edit all that pertains to capital and labor, would we then get a more correct and unbiased representation of these subjects? We ask why, then, should Roman Catholic officials edit everything pertaining to the Protestant controversy with Rome?

At the First American Catholic Missionary Congress, held at Chicago, November 17, 1908, Dr. William McGinnis outlined the program of the International Catholic Truth Society for making America Catholic:

(1) by Romanizing our schoolbooks,

(2) by revising our books of reference,

(3) by controlling the daily press,

(4) by capturing the libraries. He said in part:

"A few years ago the publishers of an encyclopedia in twelve volumes entered the office of the Truth Society and said: 'We realize there are many misstatements and errors regarding things Catholic in this work, but we put the whole edition in your hands and will accept every correction you make and every addition which you wish to insert.'... So, likewise, one of the largest publishing houses of the United States, a house that supplies perhaps one third of the textbooks used in the public schools of America, asked that certain books might be examined and erroneous statements and unjust charges against the Church be corrected .... And we are happy to say that in practically every case these misrepresentations of the Church that otherwise would have gone into the minds of millions of children were courteously corrected by gentlemanly authors."-" The Two Great American Catholic Missionary Congresses," pp. 427, 428. Chicago: J. S. Hyland and Co., 1914.

Many Protestant parents would not send their children to Catholic parochial schools, but they will allow them to be taught the same thing from Romanized textbooks, without any protest!

We ask, What made the More-mentioned publishers so anxious to have the Catholics revise the public schoolbooks and encyclopedias, which they intended to publish? Why did they not go to some Protestant organization to have the books revised? Was it because Protestants are not educated? Certainly not! But these publishers knew from experience, that, unless the books were Romanized, Catholic societies would stir up such opposition against their use, that it would result in financial loss to the publishers. Dr. McGinnis tells the secret when he relates how he had urged the Knights of Columbus to "wake up" and "form a committee," to examine the "histories of education in use in high schools and normal schools." He says: "The spirit of Knighthood was not dead in that Council, the subject was investigated, the book I had quoted from was the textbook of the class, and, after much discussion, it was removed from the curriculum of the school."-Id., pp. 423, 424.

Any one who will take the trouble to examine the textbooks used in our public schools before 1900, and compare them with those used after this Romanizing propaganda began, wi1l discover the fact that the Romanizing features have been introduced gradually into a series of textbooks, the one taking the place of the other as fast as the public could assimilate the Catholic sentiments and phraseology, and the same is true regarding books of reference.

MUZZLING THE PUBLIC PRESS

Dr. McGinnis also spoke of their plans regarding the daily papers. He said: "We may consider briefly the program of the International Catholic Truth Society in reference to two great agencies in the formation of the minds and hearts of the great American people, — the press and the public libraries.

"Our daily press... mold the thought and influence the will of the country .... We do demand that the great Catholic Church, in her saving doctrines and in her marvelous activities, should be brought more prominently before the American public."-Id., p. 419.

Dr. McGinnis further stated that arrangements had been made with the Vatican for Catholic reporters all over the world to furnish material for the "Truth Society" to be used in the daily press, and then he says:

"With a membership of two or three thousand scholarly, zealous priests and laymen, and the headquarters of the Society acting as a clearing house, calumnies would not remain unanswered, misstatements of doctrines would be corrected."-Id., pp. 420, 421.

"We realize, moreover, that refutations and corrections, valuable though they be, are not sufficient. We want to carry the campaign a little farther. We want to make of the press of this country a positive agency in the dissemination of Catholic ideas .... We are now furnishing on the first and third Sundays of each month one column or a column and a half of positive Catholic matter to daily papers .... But the 'Notes and Comments'... deal with such topics as the conversion of some distinguished scholar, the life work of a recently deceased Catholic who was eminent in the domain of physical science, archeological discoveries bearing upon Christian doctrine, important congresses abroad .... If the demands of our people prove that the new feature is appreciated, the 'service' will become weekly, and it will bring light and sympathy for things Catholic to many millions of readers."-Id., pp. 421,422.

"The demands" must have proved successful, for instead of this "new feature" appearing weekly, articles and notes seem to appear almost daily. Though it is legitimate for religious denominations to make use of the public press, for them to muzzle the freedom of the press is not legitimate! When large religious organizations parade their great number of adherents and bring pressure to bear on the press, threatening nonsupport if the other side appears in its columns, while they monopolize them with their own propaganda, such organizations lose the respect of thinking people.

CAPTURING THE PUBLIC LIBRARIE

At the before-mentioned Catholic Congress plans were also laid for making the public libraries agencies in their propaganda. Dr. McGinnis says:

"Another force, second only to the school and the press in shaping the thoughts of the nation, is the public library system of the United States .... I ask why, in the name of the God of truth, is the great Catholic Church excluded from the shelves of the public libraries of the United States?... Create a strong, legitimate demand for Catholic literature, and the public libraries will meet the demand."- Id., pp.422,423.

But how did that Congress propose to "create" this strong "demand" for Catholic books? Here is their scheme: They will supply their people with lists of books to be asked for at the libraries, and when several hundred or thousand people have called for the same books, it will create a demand.

"The demand for such literature must be brought to the public libraries. We wish to emphasize the fact that the demand must be made in good faith-the books are called for at the library because the man wants to read them. The International Catholic Truth Society will supply general and special lists of books, and the Spiritual Director... will... designate appropriate works for individual members. From this widespread bona fide demand for Catholic works at public libraries three results will follow. [It will help the members.] Their work will be instrumental in placing these books within the reach of the great non-Catholic American public, who will thus have some opportunity to find out what the Church's doctrines and practices really are, and finally the increased circulation of such literature will be a well-deserved and much- needed stimulus to Catholic writers."-Id., p. 424. See also "Catholic Digest," March, 1937, pp. 126, 127, and "America," September 13, 1913, pp. 547, 548.

Mr. Michael J. F. McCarty, of England, gives us some interesting facts regarding a similar work done by Jesuits in England. He says that they suppress books of Protestant authors, and bring to the front those of Catholics, and as a result of this systematic work, he says:

"Many Protestant authors are forced to speak favorably and kindly of Romanism .... The publication of books containing friendly allusion to Protestant Christianity has almost ceased in England, [while the other kind of books] floods the country."-"The Jesuits and the British Press," p. 52. Edinburgh and London: 1910.

But, in addition to this, the Jesuits always have a man, either a priest or a layman, on the committee of almost every public library in Great Britain.

"The Jesuits' man comes provided with two lists, a black list, which includes every well-known book, ancient and modern, adverse to Romanism; and a white list of new books especially [avorable to Romanism which he submits beforehand to the librarian, and eventually succeeds in getting placed in the library."-Pp. 50, 51.

It is quite evident from our investigation of the facts that the Jesuits are the same in America as in England. Besides this, the few remaining books from the days when it was not so unpopular to state the unvarnished facts about medieval history have been diminishing in number by being worn out or purposely destroyed.

CENSORSHIP OF BOOKS

Those who write histories today have more source matter on ancient history, but less on medieval, than historians had four hundred years ago; for after the Reformation had fully aroused the papal church to action, her emissaries, especially the vigilant Jesuits, searched out and destroyed every evidence that was damaging to her. When Bishop Gilbert Burnet, D. D., prepared to write his "History of the English Reformation," he became surprised, while searching among court records and public registers, to find so much missing, till he finally discovered the cause. He says:

"In the search I made of the Rolls and other offices, I wondered much to miss several commissions, patents, and other writings, which by clear evidence I knew were granted, and yet none of them appeared on record.

"But as I continued down my search to the fourth year of Queen Mary, I found in the twelfth roll of that year, a commission which cleared all my former doubts, and by which I saw what was become of the things I had so anxiously searched after. We have heard of the expurgation of books practiced in the Church of Rome; but it might have been imagined that public registers and records would have been safe; yet lest these should have been afterwards confessors, it was resolved they should then be martyrs; for on the 29th of December, in the fourth year of her reign, a commission was issued out under the great seal to Bonner, Bishop of London, Cole, Dean of St. Paul's, and Martine, a doctor of the civil law, [which commanded the destruction of] divers compts, books, scrolls, instruments ....

"When I saw this, I soon knew which way so many writings had gone"-"History of the Reformation of the Church of England,'' 2- vol. ed., Vol. I, Preface, p. xiii. London: 1880.

Let no one, therefore, say that statements in older histories are not true because we cannot now find sources to prove them.

The reader may not know that back of all this activity stands the Roman Curia, one department of which is the Sacred Congregation of the Index, which meets at Rome on stated days to decide what books are forbidden, and to make lists of them, called "The Index of Prohibited Books."* The writer has examined two editions of this "Index," one early edition, and their latest one of 1930 by Pope Plus XI. Some books are permanently forbidden, while others are forbidden until certain corrections are made in them, which explains the revisions of our schoolbooks, for the "Index" says:

"Can. 1396. Books condemned by the Holy See are prohibited all over the world and in whatever language into which they may have been translated.

"Can. 1397, Sec. 1. It is the duty of all the faithful, particularly of clerics, or those holding high positions and noted for their learning, to denounce any book, they may consider dangerous, to the local Ordinaries, or to the Holy See ....

"Sec. 3. Those to whom such denunciations are made are bound in conscience not to reveal the names of the accusers.

"Sec. 4. Local Ordinaries, either directly themselves, or through the agency of capable priests, are in duty bound to keep a close watch on the books that are published, or sold, within their territory ....
 
"Can. 1398, Sec. 1. The condemnation of a book entails the prohibition, without especial permission, either to publish, to read, to keep, to sell, to translate it, or in any way to pass it on to others.

"Sec. 2. A book which has been prohibited in any way may not be republished, unless, after the necessary corrections have been made."-"Index," of 1930, pp. xvi, xvii. Vatican Polyglot Press.

The Catholic Encyclopedia has this to say about the "Censorship of Books": "In general, censorship of books is a supervision of the press in order to prevent any abuse of it.

"The reverse of censorship is freedom of the press."- Vol. III, p. 519.

This "supervision of the press" extends also to articles written in magazines and newspapers, and among the special organizations working in this field is the International Catholic Truth Society, and the Catholic International Associated Press. Reporting the Louisville federation convention of the latter, Michael Kenny, S. J., in America (a Jesuit weekly) for August 31, 1912, says of their Catholic Press Bureau:

"We have it in our power to compel our papers, the thinking machines of the people, to tell the truth and refrain from transmitting slanders on Catholic matters. We can prevent the wells at which the people drink from being poisoned. We can, follow-lng the lead of the Austrian Catholic Congress, establish a Catholic International Associated Press, and to accomplish this object every Catholic of the right spirit, reading in the daily papers calumnies of our religion and the most brazen justification of the robber bands who drive our religious from their homes and confiscate their property, should be willing to contribute a tithe of his possessions. All this and more can be accomplished by federated action .... Marching shoulder-to shoulder with the spirit of soldiers on the battlefield at the call of the Church, we can successfully combat the organizations of her enemies and make this an era of Catholic manhood."-"America," August 31, 19I2, p. 486, article by M. Kenny, S. J.

As a result of this organized effort no newspapers in the United States will accept any news that reflects unfavorably on the Catholic Church or its propaganda in this country, while news unfavorable to Protestants is printed.

When a high-ranking political leader in charge of our armed forces praises the Catholic Crusades as the means that saved Western civilization, including Protestantism and America, it demonstrates a lack of historical knowledge and serves as an indication of what is being planned for the days ahead. First and foremost, the Crusades were not merely defensive wars; they were also offensive religious conflicts, characterized by the use of force, bloodshed, and the union of Church and State. Praising them amounts to glorifying the idea that resorting to violence to promote religion is acceptable, rather than upholding freedom of conscience.

Secondly, it is not true that the Crusades helped preserve society or paved the way for the Protestant Reformation. It was God who preserved His truth and protected the reformers. In fact, there were several crusades launched by Rome to destroy the Albigensians, Waldensians, Hussites, Lutherans, Calvinists, Anabaptists, Huguenots, and many other groups that sought to follow the Bible. The truth is that Roman Catholics, under the so-called Holy Roman Inquisition, attempted to completely eradicate Protestantism.

Thirdly, this kind of thinking goes against the principle of separating church and state. The United States was founded to protect religious liberty—not to enforce religious ideas through government or military power. History shows that mixing religion with force leads to persecution and suffering, and praising the Crusades as a model for modern warfare sends the dangerous message that faith can be spread or defended by military powers—something that has always led to the loss of true religious freedom.

When Pete Hegseth uses the Catholic Crusades as inspiration for military warfare, it introduces the idea that wars carry divine approval. It unites faith with force, leading people to believe that military actions are aligned with God's will. Such thinking makes it easier to justify war in the name of righteousness and reinterprets human conflict as a holy cause. The "image of the beast" represents a system where apostate faith and political force unite. This is not biblical Christianity but apostate Protestantism that uses civil power to advance church dogmas. What we are witnessing is the formation of this very image: a government that increasingly imposes religious identity through military force. These are early steps toward a system that will eventually enforce false worship. America is not yet fully speaking like a dragon—but the tone is changing. Our nation, which professes freedom while moving toward increased religious influence in government, is fulfilling this very contradiction warned of by God:

"The lamblike horns and dragon voice of the symbol point to a striking contradiction between the professions and the practice of the nation thus represented ... And the statement that the beast with two horns 'causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast' indicates that the authority of this nation is to be exercised in enforcing some observance which shall be an act of homage to the papacy" (Great Controversy, p. 442).

"By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness."

The United States has long been recognized as a nation founded on the principles of civil and religious liberty—a land where church and state were intentionally separated to protect freedom of conscience. This gives prophetic meaning to the description in Revelation 13:11 of a beast with "two horns like a lamb," representing republicanism—a constitutional form of government—and Protestantism, with its emphasis on liberty of conscience. However, Bible prophecy also reveals that a transformation will take place, and this lamb-like beast will eventually "speak like a dragon."

We do not owe Roman Catholic Crusaders any recognition concerning the establishment and maintenance of the Protestant motivated and or supported freedoms and liberties we have enjoyed in these United States and or countries of modern Europe. Such recognition is reserved to the very large number of Roman Catholics who defied either the religious or political tyrannies of their Popes and clergy. Those who were later branded as Protestants because of their protests against all such, including their eventual recognition of Holy Scripture as a greater authority than that of Popes, politicians, prelates, clergy, and tradition. Millions of Professed Roman Catholics who accepted excommunication, ridicule, imprisonment, persecution, torture, and even death at the hands of their once 
professed brothers and sisters, for maintaining their God given right to disagree with their religious and political leaders.

These are the Roman Catholics of history, we can thank for the liberties and freedoms we now enjoy. Not to mention the many others afterward, who have served this nation in many different capacities including militarily, to defend and maintain these very same rights and liberties. Among whom are many of my own ancestors.

Pope Leo XIV emphasizes that this so-called common witness between Christians and Muslims demonstrates how the world's religions can unite to promote peace and the common good. This reflects the accelerating momentum toward religious solidarity under papal leadership—a development that Bible prophecy identifies as necessary for the formation of the end-time global religious system foretold in Revelation 13 and 17. The ultimate goal is to move beyond our doctrinal differences, declaring that every belief system—including atheism, pantheism, and pagan spiritualities—is equally sacred and contains divine truth.

The "common witness" and "common ground" now being promoted will soon make way to a common day of rest—a unified day of worship enforced upon all. According to Pope Leo XIV, our world cannot progress toward true peace unless it embraces a universal fraternal mission that every religion must accept. Today, in these last days, the influence of Rome is once again rising through the spread of its principles, as its idolatrous standards are effectively being planted within Protestant America. A nation once founded in protest against religious tyranny is increasingly abandoning that protest, embracing doctrines, practices, and policies that reflect the very system it once resisted. This shift is seen most clearly in the growing union of political power with religious authority, a development described in Revelation 13.

"As the siege of Jerusalem by the Roman armies was the signal for flight to the Judean Christians, so the assumption of power on the part of our nation in the decree enforcing the papal sabbath will be a warning to us. Has God really called the Pope to determine who will fight what wars, and why or how? Or to try and lead the nations of earth, in the way that they should go? Is this the mission of authentic Christianity according to Holy Scripture, to lead the world.

Jas 4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

How much more a friend of the world can one become, than to rub shoulders with and continually meet with all the leaders of the world? Ending up telling them what to do, and how to do it. This is not the mission of authentic Christianity.

The second beast of Revelation 13 represents the United States that rose like a lamb, symbolizing youth, liberty, republicanism, Protestant principles, and freedom of conscience. But prophecy says that this lamb-like power will eventually form into an image of the first beast, Rome, and speak like a dragon (Revelation 13:11). That means America, once known for religious liberty and the separation of church and state, will eventually use civil authority in a way that reflects the coercive spirit of Rome.

And while Marco Rubio emphasizes Catholic suffering in early America, he entirely ignores Rome's own bloody history on the shores of the United States in Jacksonville, FL. In 1565, Spanish Catholic forces destroyed the French Protestant settlement at Fort Caroline—located in present-day Jacksonville—and massacred French Huguenots in the events surrounding what later became known as the Matanzas Massacre. The National Park Service describes these events as the Catholic massacre of French Protestants in the present-day United States, which helped establish Rome's control over Florida. That history cannot simply be ignored while Rubio portrays Catholics solely as victims.

So the issue is not whether Catholics have lived, served, or contributed in America. They have. The issue is whether America's founding story is now being revised to make Rome appear as the spiritual mother of the Republic. That claim is false, dangerous, and prophetic. America's greatness was never built on submission to Rome but on the God-given principle that no earthly power has the right to command the conscience.

American history is being rewritten before our very eyes. Modern Catholic politicians and revisionist voices are presenting a polished and sanitized version of the United States—one that portrays America as a Catholic nation founded upon Catholic principles and destined to fulfill Rome's vision. This narrative must be challenged, and true history must remain our teacher so that the dangers and abuses of the past are neither forgotten nor repeated.

An excellent article addressing a blatant case of Roman Catholic Revisionist history by a Roman Catholic future Presidential hopeful. As I have stated previously concerning these United States owing nothing to Roman Catholic Crusaders of the past, so I say concerning these false claims by Rubio. We owe nothing to the Popes, Prelates, and clergy of Rome. But moreover only, to the support of the millions of once Roman Catholics peoples which the papacy excommunicated from their ranks, because of their protests against the abuses all suffered under the united Roman church and state of Feudalist Europe. The majority of which peoples, were labeled and became Protestants. To these and other Roman Catholics who came to these shores and believed in and supported the Protestant vision of a separated church and state.

The exact purpose and intent of the majority Protestant population of this nation in its infancy, rationalists, and even Catholics, was to separate religion and politics for our future in contrast to the deplorable history of abuses suffered in Feudalist Europe's long history of mandated Roman Catholicism. Which example began to be imitated by the Protestant nations of ex Roman Catholics in Europe, as Protestant became numerous enough to take over entire countries of Europe. Who themselves began to persecute Catholics and even other Protestants who would not bow to the new united church and state governments of Protestantism. Protestantism reached a state of maturity within these United States, to finally support actual freedom of conscience regarding religion, for all of its citizens. This being the most biblical and Christian form of government, seeing that our God and his Son have never promoted the use of force or coercion concerning such. To the contrary, always seeking and promoting persuasion, personal conviction, and resulting conversion alone, as proper instruments of authentic Christianity.

Those who have wondered with amazement at the lefts use of revisionist history to effect their political goals, need look no further than Romanism to see where they got such ideas. Nor is the right guiltless of shaping history toward their own ends either, as Rubio has just demonstrated. It is crucial for every individual, to closely examine history for the truth. Especially if or when it is presented by or for politicians, politically motivated institutions, or individuals.

Anyone who will take the time to examine exactly what the Popes and Vatican really mean when they speak of the common good, can study Roman Catholic Social Doctrine and teaching in papal Encyclicals, Doctrinal Notes, and other articles concerning such. Which examination will reveal that Roman Catholic teaching and practice concerning the "common good" has nothing to do at all with the principles espoused by our founding fathers. To the contrary, their common good strikes directly against the principles of our guaranteed individual rights, freedoms, and liberties. In many ways calling for unalienable ethical demands of majorities, as in a common good for societies, which overrule or destroy our personal liberties. As I have discussed on these boards many times over.

If one wants to see how this nation would have turned out if Roman Catholics won the day of our founding, let them observe the histories of South America. Where Catholicism was still the established religion of the colonizers. Where the natives were offered conversion, death, or slavery. And or the abuses suffered by many throughout the history of these countries and Canada where Catholicism was still staunchly attached to government.

The above video reveals some of what Roman Catholic Marco Rubio discussed recently with Pope Leo behind closed doors, on behalf of reconciliation between the United States and or Trump, and the Vatican. At about 5 minutes and thirty seconds Rubio talks about the 100,000,000 dollars the U.S. is apparently ready to give to Cuba. That it must be given to them by a non governmental agency, which would be the Catholic Church apparently. So we will give the Catholic Church 100,000,000 dollars to give to Cuba. As they facilitate there globalist redistribution of wealth through Catholic politicians helping to facilitate this agenda. In this case apparently, 100,000,000 dollars of American tax payers money, with or without our consent of course. I know I don't approve of this, do you? This will be of course on top of the tens of billions the Catholic church already receives from the tax payers of the United States with or without our consent either. Rubio reveals that this topic was part of what he discussed with Pope Leo in the video. Mentioning that meeting in relation to this giving of 100,000,000 to Cuba.

"Fearful sights of a supernatural character will soon be revealed in the heavens, in token of the power of miracle-working demons" (Great Controversy, p. 624).

The Sunday worship service at Rededicate 250 in Washington D.C. was a prophetic warning sign as religious leaders throughout the day cried out to God for miracles, revival, fire, healing, power, deliverance, and a new beginning for America. But as long as these calls for unity and renewal are presented in a non-doctrinal, ecumenical, and non-prophetic platform, they can never produce true biblical revival. A genuine revival must proclaim the full truth of God's Word—including the warning messages concerning the antichrist, the beast, the image of the beast, and the mark of the beast. Any movement that avoids these vital prophetic truths while promoting unity at all costs will not lead people fully to Christ and His commandments, but will instead prepare them to embrace the authority and teachings of Rome.

The issue is not whether America needs repentance. It does. The issue is what kind of revival is being promoted, who is leading it, and where it is ultimately headed. Scripture warns that the final deception will come through a powerful religious movement filled with signs, wonders, emotional worship, and calls for national unity. Revelation speaks of a power that causes the earth to unite around false worship while appearing righteous and lamb-like outwardly.

In the Bible, Jesus spoke about false prophets in the last days on several occasions. One of the best-known passages is found in Matthew 24, where Jesus describes the signs of the end of the world and warns his disciples to be on guard against false teachers who will come to deceive them:

"And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." Matthew 24:4, 5.

"And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many." Matthew 24:11.

"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." Matthew 24:24.


In these passages, Jesus warns that false teachers and prophets will arise, claiming to have a special message from God. He cautions his followers to be on guard against these deceivers and to remain faithful to the end. Here is how you can tell the difference between true biblical revival and the devil's counterfeit:

"Yet none need be deceived. In the light of God's word, it is not difficult to determine the nature of these movements. Wherever men neglect the testimony of the Bible, turning away from those plain, soul-testing truths which require self-denial and renunciation of the world, there we may be sure that God's blessing is not bestowed" (Great Controversy, p. 464).

"Popular revivals are too often carried by appeals to the imagination, by exciting the emotions, by gratifying the love for what is new and startling. Converts thus gained have little desire to listen to Bible truth, little interest in the testimony of prophets and apostles. Unless a religious service has something of a sensational character, it has no attractions for them. A message which appeals to unimpassioned reason, awakens no response. The plain warnings of God's Word, relating directly to their eternal interests, are unheeded" (Great Controversy, p. 463).


Unfortunately, what was seen at Rededicate 250 fits perfectly into that prophetic trajectory. The repeated calls for "fire," "power," and "miracles" are especially concerning because the Bible warns that in the last days miraculous manifestations will be used to deceive the world. Satan understands that people are more easily controlled through emotional religious excitement than through Scripture.

"For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty." Revelation 16:14.

"And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live." Revelation 13:14.


The frightening reality is that these movements are no longer happening on the fringes. They are occurring openly in connection with national celebrations, political figures, Catholic and Evangelical leaders, and government-supported religious worship. This is precisely the kind of church-state entanglement the founders of America feared and the very union Bible prophecy warned would arise before the mark of the beast crisis.

Revelation warns that America would eventually speak "as a dragon" while maintaining lamb-like appearances. A nation once founded upon liberty of conscience will ultimately use religious pressure to enforce false worship. The seeds of that transformation are already being planted when public worship rallies on Sunday become tied to national identity and America's future restoration.

True revival will never lead people toward state-backed religion, ecumenical compromise, or exaltation of man-made traditions. True revival leads to obedience to all of God's commandments, faithfulness to Jesus Christ, and separation from worldly religious-political systems. The counterfeit revival now rising in America seeks unity without biblical truth, power without the Spirit of truth, miracles without obedience, and worship without God's seventh-day Sabbath. What took place at Rededicate 250 was another unmistakable sign that America is moving rapidly toward the fulfillment of Revelation 13.

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. The Catholic cardinal's statement that America's "way of life" has been defined by "the Sabbath" is especially prophetic. Historically, when Roman Catholic leaders speak about "the Sabbath," they are not referring to the biblical seventh-day Sabbath of Scripture but to Sunday—the day Rome claims authority to have transferred from Saturday. And when influential Catholic leaders publicly connect "the Sabbath" to America's founding principles and national greatness, they are advancing the idea that national morality and stability are tied to Sunday worship.

Even though Cardinal Timothy Dolan referred to "religious liberty" as part of America's unique identity, he also paired it with an emphasis on the "common good." In Roman Catholic social teaching, the "common good" is often presented as taking precedence over personal individual liberty and has historically been used to justify closer cooperation between religious institutions and civil governments for the moral benefit of society.

The "common good" has often been used as a justification for pressuring society to conform to the beliefs and practices of the majority. This reflects an ongoing effort to place the nation under distinctly Roman Catholic spiritual teachings and symbols while further mixing religious identity with political life.

Sunday sacredness is increasingly being presented as part of America's identity, heritage, and moral responsibility. The final crisis will center on worship and obedience to God's commandments. The issue will ultimately become whether the world will follow the commandments of God or the traditions of men. As religious leaders continue pushing Sunday observance, national renewal, and the "common good" into America's public life, faithful Sabbath keepers must recognize the prophetic significance of these developments and stand firmly for liberty of conscience and the everlasting gospel of Revelation 14.

There cannot be unity among fallen humanity without compromise. The commandments and principles of our Lord's spiritual kingdom upon earth, cannot compromise with the false and evil politics and religions of this world. Such unification would, and will only corrupt the truth and the lives of those who have chosen to live by the truth by faith in God through Christ Jesus our Lord. Holy scripture does not predict that fallen humanity will collectively submit to the truths of God's word, but to the contrary, will rebel against them.

These Thomistic notions - that private property is merely a construct of human reason and government, and that need gives the needy title to the goods of others - are the reason the Roman Catholic bishops in Brazil in 1998 pronounced that looting is neither sin nor a crime. What began under Pope Francis with repeated calls for an ecological conversion is continuing under Pope Leo XIV, who is presenting Magnifica Humanitas as a comprehensive vision for addressing the world's social, economic, environmental, and moral crises. Rather than offering spiritual guidance, the Papacy is advancing a global political framework that seeks to shape public policy, economic systems, and international cooperation.

The Vatican is increasingly positioning itself as a moral authority capable of providing direction for the nations of the world. Governments, institutions, and religious organizations are showing growing interest in Rome's vision of the "common good," a Catholic teaching that has gained significant traction and is expanding the Pope's influence in international affairs. While Rome's initiatives are often presented as pathways to peace, sustainability, and human development, Bible prophecy warns of the dangers that arise when religious and political influence are consolidated into a single global authority.

As the world becomes increasingly receptive to Catholic social teaching, Sunday rest emerges as a unifying principle capable of saving society. Sunday is being promoted as the common good that can strengthen family life, protect workers' rights, encourage religious participation, and promote care for creation. These developments are significant, as they reveal that the world is moving toward the very conditions foretold in Scripture—a closer union of religious and civil power that will ultimately threaten liberty of conscience and elevate human tradition above the Word of God, just as described in the book of Revelation.

"And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast." Revelation 17:12, 13

Non stop calls for global government and economic system from one Pope after another, after another, after another. Constantly and consistently calling for and as far as possible, facilitating this vision. The vision of a global governing structure and economic system that would unquestionably bring about the necessary elements of the beast system described in the book of Revelation, whose arrival spells the final events of, and end of this world.

The Pope's, Vatican, and their minions continually seeking to unite the entire world religiously, politically, and economically, under her moral guidance. The exact opposite of what God intentionally established at the tower of Babel, in order to prevent the unification of humanity in rebellion against God once again, unto His judgment of universal destruction once again. This will happen according to God's own timing and no one else's. Nevertheless, the Papacy is right to continually seek for such, if she intends to be the moral leader of this final act of rebellion against God. She needs to stay out front of the situation, by being the predominant self proclaimed authority in the minds of the many, when God gives the go ahead.

According to this papal leader, as many before him, we really need to address the major problem of individuals making profit for themselves, their families, and or those they wish to make donations to. To replace such abject evil, with a system of the common good, by which they may define and thereby also properly spend and or apply such profits. Never mind the countless billions the papacy receives from governments the world over every year, with or without the consent of their citizens. Or God only knows how much in tithes or offerings she receives from over a billion adherents as well, not to mention her countless business endeavors. She and her religious and political allies must now have control over all the profits individuals or businesses make as well. Since they are obviously not knowledgable enough to make decisions regarding their own monies according to the dictates of the common good, which is of course defined by all by the Papacy itself.

The constant wealth distribution the Papacy always speaks of and is and has been actively facilitating, which she is proud enough to basically brag about in Papal Encyclicals. Is simply not enough. All her accomplishments in transferring the wealth of nations from one to another via the movement of mass corporations and businesses throughout them, government wealth shifting mandates among them as well, and let us not forget mass migrations unto major wealth redistribution from the citizens of nations to the migrants entering them, among other methods. Are simply not enough. She and her cohorts must have greater control over all economics, through a global economic system which she and they have control of. For purposes of the common good, of course. Which the Papacy does and will define for all of us as well, of course. So be it, when God says it is time for all of this to end. Amen.
