QuoteHow social workers can advance Catholic social teaching

Washington D.C., Nov 6, 2017 / 03:04 am (CNA/EWTN News).- How social workers can live their faith in the workplace was the focus of the latest annual conference of the Catholic Social Workers National Association.

"The association's members ... are united and called to live out the Gospel to carry out his mission, not only in our personal lives but professional as well," president and co-founder Kathleen Neher told CNA Nov. 1.

"We share a common belief, which is to bring forth a culture of life by promoting the Catholic social teachings in the area of social work and in keeping with and faithful to the magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church."

The association's annual conference began Nov. 3 in in Washington D.C. at the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America. The group of professionals and students seek to have their occupation guided by the teachings of the Church. The organization also acts as a place of Catholic formation and source of spiritual strength.

In collaboration with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, the group answers ethical questions regarding field practices and educates Catholics on what legislation is supported by the Church.

Neher said the association's members gather annually "to network, pray and learn about current developments in their practice" with lectures on a wide variety of professions.

She said the goal of the conference is "to educate members on recent developments, gather Catholic social workers who don't normally have a way to express their faith and beliefs in an accepting forum, and to celebrate our faith as we are united with the Catholic Church."

Founded in 2005, the association's members work in government agencies, health clinics, faith-based organizations and universities. They often work with the most vulnerable: immigrants, addicts, veterans, pregnant women, children and the poor.

Neher said the association members want their clients to see them as representatives of St. Louis de Marillac, someone who cares deeply about moral and social problems and as "someone whose step they listen for as we go about serving their needs," in his words.

Auxiliary Bishop Timothy Senior of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia is an episcopal liaison to the group. He told CNA that a social worker's profession is aligned to the Gospel's description of charity: to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and visit the imprisoned.

Although works of mercy are part of the job for social workers, Bishop Senior said, it is still the role of all the laity to be a light of faith in the world.

"To have Catholics living their faith, that is something we want in every profession," he said. "We want Catholics committing Catholics to be missionary disciples, as Pope Francis has called us all to be as a Church perpetually on mission."

However, for the social worker, dealing regularly with intractable social problems is exhausting and challenging, In the bishop's view, the organization is a source of spiritual and intellectual support.

"Social workers work hard and you are dealing with problems all the time and there is no way you can do that without finding some resource for life and refreshment," he reflected. "We have ready access to that in our faith."

In his role within the association, Bishop Senior will provide answers for members who struggle with a specific approach of an agency or have ethical questions on a certain practice in the field.

The association also informs its members on current legal issues. It advocates for laws in defense of human dignity."Our advocacy is grounded in Catholic social teaching and the teaching of the Church. Information is shared on a regular basis on issues that are impacting and of concern to social workers, such as religious freedom, sexuality and gender issues," Neher told CNA.

Catholic social teaching is not only for Catholics, Bishop Senior said, but it envisions a just system he hopes would be made available for anyone.

"Catholic social workers are committed to implementing that vision for a just society, for the respect for human life, or addressing people in extreme poverty and their needs," he said.

As is obvious from the above article, Catholics living their faith and being missionaries, includes implementing the churches social doctrines and teachings through legislation in their perspective areas. Again, this is nothing new, this is the papacy doing what it has always done as soon as opportunity provides. Its ultimate goal is always to make itself the dominant force in and of government to establish itself through the rule of national or international law, rather than through the Holy Spirit of God by way of conviction and conversion. A course truly opposed to the teachings and living example of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the true church which He established.

The following excerpts are from an article linked above co-authored by Amy Coney, who is now being considered for the Supreme court. All emphasis is mine.

QuoteIt is hard to get an exact figure, but it appears that as many as one-fourth of all federal judges may be Catholic.! Moreover, although there has been some variation in Catholic teaching about the death penalty over the years, the pope and the American bishops have recently offered clear and forceful denunciations that have drawn considerable public attention..................................................

To anticipate our conclusions just briefly, we believe that Catholic judges (if they are faithful to the teaching of their church) are morally precluded from enforcing the death penalty. This means that they can neither themselves sentence criminals to death nor enforce jury recom- mendations of death. Whether they may affirm lower court orders of either kind is a question we have the most difficulty in resolving......................

The modem Catholic opposition to the death penalty has been driven by the conviction that neither of these arguments about the defense of society-the need for incapacitation and deterrence-is persuasive in developed countries. The Pontifical Commission for Justice and
Peace, which studied the question at the request of the American Catholic bishops, concluded in 1976 that "There is no convincing evidence to support the contention that [the death penalty] is exemplary or, in modem terms, a deterrent. [Therefore] it can be concluded that capital punishment is outside the realm of practicable just punishments." 2 Four years later the National Conference of Catholic Bishops issued a Statement on Capital Punishment which concluded "that in the conditions of contemporary American society, the legitimate purposes of punishment do not justify the imposition of the death penalty."' 3

III. CONCLUSION
Catholic judges must answer some complex moral and legal ques- tions in deciding whether to sit in death penalty cases. Sometimes (as with direct appeals of death sentences) the right answers are not obvious. But in a system that effectively leaves the decision up to the judge, these are questions that responsible Catholics must consider seriously. Judges cannot-nor should they try to-align our legal system with the Church's moral teaching whenever the two diverge. They should, however, conform their own behavior to the Church's standard. Perhaps their good example will have some effect.

All Christians understand that they must obey the word of God rather than or above man. What happens though, when certain Christians place the words of a man constantly addressing the politics and practice of nations, on a par with the word of God? History has already answered this question many times over. As we increasingly choose to ignore histories testimony in regard to the same, we are increasingly doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past.

QuoteThe Roman Catholic Church, with all its ramifications throughout the world, forms one vast organization under the control, and designed to serve the interests, of the papal see. Its millions of communicants, in every country on the globe, are instructed to hold themselves as bound in allegiance to the pope. Whatever their nationality or their government, they are to regard the authority of the church as above all other. Though they may take the oath pledging their loyalty to the state, yet back of this lies the vow of obedience to Rome, absolving them from every pledge inimical to her interests.(The Great Controversy, Ellen G. White, Chap. 35 LIBERTY OF CONSCIENCE THREATENED, Pg. 580)

Looks like Trump is trying to appoint his second Jesuit trained man to the Supreme Court. Justice Neil M. The Counter-reformation continues to march steadily forward as "Protestantism" increasingly falls asleep behind the wheel ready to crash and burn. So be it, come Lord Jesus.

QuoteWill 2018 be the year of Catholic health car dominance?

Patricia Miller ("Religion Dispatches," January 2, 2018)

The news that two major Catholic health care systems, Ascension and Providence St. Joseph Health, are considering a merger that would create a nearly 200-hospital behemoth spanning 27 states raises questions about the expanded imposition of Catholic ethical norms on the health care system in the coming year.

In addition to the Ascension-Providence merger, two other large Catholic systems, Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health have finalized merger plans for a new system that would comprise 139 hospitals over 28 states.

If the Ascension-Providence merger is finalized it would create the largest health system in the United States, which means that the largest single provider of health care in the country would be under the direction of the Catholic Church and bound by the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Healthcare Services. The ERDs are promulgated by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and ban, among other services, abortion, contraceptive sterilizations, contraceptives, many assisted reproduction technologies, and assisted suicide.

While the hospitals currently under the control of these systems are already bound by the ERDs, the competitive advantage gained by these mergers will allow the Catholic systems to gobble up secular hospitals and impose the ERDs on them. The number of Catholic hospitals increased by 22% between 2001 and 2016 following an earlier waver of mergers, according to a report by MergerWatch.

Market consolidation by Catholic providers will also allow these systems to dominate insurance contracts, which often results in patients being forced to choose hospitals from a single health system, which in the case of Catholic providers would not provide a full range of services, especially reproductive health care. Approximately one in six hospital beds is currently owned by or affiliated with a Catholic system, according to MergerWatch. In ten states, Catholic systems control between 30% and 40% of all acute-care beds (Alaska, Colorado, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin).

A 2012 study found that half of OB/GYNs working at Catholic hospitals had conflicts with the institution over religiously based policies. A follow-up study found that medically indicated tubal ligations (female sterilization) were the most common source of conflict because the Catholic hospitals' refusal to perform the procedure at the time of delivery subjected patients to the risk of a second later surgery at another facility.

Both Ascension and Dignity Health have been sued by the ACLU on behalf of patients who were refused tubal ligations at their member hospitals, including one for a woman who had a brain tumor and whose doctor had recommended the procedure because an additional pregnancy could be life-threatening.

Catholic hospitals have also refused life-saving abortions to women who are undergoing miscarriages. Many Catholic hospitals have a policy of waiting until a potentially life-threatening infection sets in before they will perform the termination of a failed pregnancy.

Large hospital systems like Ascension are also increasingly buying up physicians practices, which then brings the doctors' offices under the purview of the ERDs. There have been reports of some doctors being told they could no longer prescribe birth control after being purchased by a Catholic system, including an Oklahoma practice owned by Ascension. For now, Ascension's official policy appears to be that it will "tolerate" the prescription of contraceptives by individual physicians under its purview, but that could change at any time.

Catholic hospitals are also entering anther front in the culture wars by refusing to provide gender-reassignment surgery for trans individuals. According to the ERDs, in addition to specific services that are banned, a Catholic hospital should refuse to provide services "contrary to the moral teachings of the Catholic Church." St. John's Hospital in New Jersey refused to provide a hysterectomy to a transgender man. The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty has pursued rulings that would allow religious hospitals to evade regulations issued under the Affordable Care Act that forbid hospitals from discriminating against transgender individuals.

The Trump Administration's broad exemption from the ACA's contraception mandate will also allow Catholic hospitals to refuse to provide contraceptive coverage for its employees. The Catholic Health Initiatives-Dignity merger will create a system with 159,000 employees, according to Modern Healthcare. Ascension alone has 160,000 employees.

As a result of this dramatic expansion of Catholic hospitals and their market power, 2018 may be a pivotal year for new tests of "religious freedom" claims regarding the provision of health care and patient rights under both courts and an administration that are increasingly friendly to the claims of religious providers.

No surprise, after successfully implementing universal health care through Obama according to Catholic social doctrine and teaching, Rome's agenda concerning the same moves forward. This will and is already having profound effect upon SDA health systems, as well as all citizens of this nation. Those seeking to subjugate countries and the world must of course have a firm grasp and control of it's health systems and institutions. Such necessarily demand major influence upon individuals and society. Everyone eventually needs doctors and or some the of health care or related advice and aid. All avenues and roads must eventually lead to Rome if domination will ever be complete.

QuoteVATICAN CITY (CNS) -- The Catholic Church's position on gun control is not easy to find; there are dozens of speeches and talks and a few documents that call for much tighter regulation of the global arms trade, but what about private gun ownership?
The answer is resoundingly clear: Firearms in the hands of civilians should be strictly limited and eventually completely eliminated.

But you won't find that statement in a headline or a document subheading. It's almost hidden in a footnote in a document on crime by the U.S. bishops' conference and it's mentioned in passing in dozens of official Vatican texts on the global arms trade.
The most direct statement comes in the bishops' "Responsibility, Rehabilitation and Restoration: A Catholic Perspective on Crime and Criminal Justice" from November 2000.

"As bishops, we support measures that control the sale and use of firearms and make them safer -- especially efforts that prevent their unsupervised use by children or anyone other than the owner -- and we reiterate our call for sensible regulation of handguns."

That's followed by a footnote that states: "However, we believe that in the long run and with few exceptions -- i.e. police officers, military use -- handguns should be eliminated from our society."

No surprise according to the statistics provided at the above links, that 8 out of ten of the states with the toughest gun laws are also among the top ten most Catholic States.

QuoteProtestants will work upon the rulers of the land to make laws to restore the lost ascendancy of the man of sin, who sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Roman Catholic principles will be taken under the care and protection of the state. This national apostasy will be speedily followed by national ruin. The protest of Bible truth will be no longer tolerated by those who have not made the law of God their rule of life.

The following is from the CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.

Sunday- fulfillment of the sabbath
2175 Sunday is expressly distinguished from the sabbath which it follows chronologically every week; for Christians its ceremonial observance replaces that of the sabbath. In Christ's Passover, Sunday fulfills the spiritual truth of the Jewish sabbath and announces man's eternal rest in God. For worship under the Law prepared for the mystery of Christ, and what was done there prefigured some aspects of Christ:[107]
Those who lived according to the old order of things have come to a new hope, no longer keeping the sabbath, but the Lord's Day, in which our life is blessed by him and by his death.[108]

2176 The celebration of Sunday observes the moral commandment inscribed by nature in the human heart to render to God an outward, visible, public, and regular worship "as a sign of his universal beneficence to all."[109] Sunday worship fulfills the moral command of the Old Covenant, taking up its rhythm and spirit in the weekly celebration of the Creator and Redeemer of his people.

A day of grace and rest from work
2184 Just as God "rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done,"[121] human life has a rhythm of work and rest. The institution of the Lord's Day helps everyone enjoy adequate rest and leisure to cultivate their familial, cultural, social, and religious lives.[122]

2185 On Sundays and other holy days of obligation, the faithful are to refrain from engaging in work or activities that hinder the worship owed to God, the joy proper to the Lord's Day, the performance of the works of mercy, and the appropriate relaxation of mind and body.[123] Family needs or important social service can legitimately excuse from the obligation of Sunday rest. The faithful should see to it that legitimate excuses do not lead to habits prejudicial to religion, family life, and health.
The charity of truth seeks holy leisure- the necessity of charity accepts just work.[124]

2186 Those Christians who have leisure should be mindful of their brethren who have the same needs and the same rights, yet cannot rest from work because of poverty and misery. Sunday is traditionally consecrated by Christian piety to good works and humble service of the sick, the infirm, and the elderly. Christians will also sanctify Sunday by devoting time and care to their families and relatives, often difficult to do on other days of the week. Sunday is a time for reflection, silence, cultivation of the mind, and meditation which furthers the growth of the Christian interior life.

2187 Sanctifying Sundays and holy days requires a common effort. Every Christian should avoid making unnecessary demands on others that would hinder them from observing the Lord's Day. Traditional activities (sport, restaurants, etc.), and social necessities (public services, etc.), require some people to work on Sundays, but everyone should still take care to set aside sufficient time for leisure. With temperance and charity the faithful will see to it that they avoid the excesses and violence sometimes associated with popular leisure activities. In spite of economic constraints, public authorities should ensure citizens a time intended for rest and divine worship. Employers have a similar obligation toward their employees.

2188 In respecting religious liberty and the common good of all, Christians should seek recognition of Sundays and the Church's holy days as legal holidays. They have to give everyone a public example of prayer, respect, and joy and defend their traditions as a precious contribution to the spiritual life of society. If a country's legislation or other reasons require work on Sunday, the day should nevertheless be lived as the day of our deliverance which lets us share in this "festal gathering," this "assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven."[125]

IN BRIEF
2189 "Observe the sabbath day, to keep it holy" (Deut 5:12). "The seventh day is a sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord" (Ex 31:15).

2190 The sabbath, which represented the completion of the first creation, has been replaced by Sunday which recalls the new creation inaugurated by the Resurrection of Christ.

2191 The Church celebrates the day of Christ's Resurrection on the "eighth day," Sunday, which is rightly called the Lord's Day (cf. SC 106).

2192 "Sunday . . . is to be observed as the foremost holy day of obligation in the universal Church" (CIC, can. 1246 # 1). "On Sundays and other holy days of obligation the faithful are bound to participate in the Mass" (CIC, can. 1247).

2193 "On Sundays and other holy days of obligation the faithful are bound . . . to abstain from those labors and business concerns which impede the worship to be rendered to God, the joy which is proper to the Lord's Day, or the proper relaxation of mind and body" (CIC, can. 1247).

2194 The institution of Sunday helps all "to be allowed sufficient rest and leisure to cultivate their amilial, cultural, social, and religious lives" (GS 67 # 3).

2195 Every Christian should avoid making unnecessary demands on others that would hinder them from observing the Lord's Day.

The Supreme Court of the United States is composed of nine justices who "hold their offices during good behavior" (art. 3, sec. 1). Although the constitutional qualifications to preside as a justice are not enumerated, an unwritten list of requirements has been developed. Foremost, the majority of judges who have served on our Supreme Court have been white male Protestants of Anglo-Saxon descent (Segal and Spaeth 183). Of the 112 justices that have served on the Supreme Court of the United States, 108 have been male (Jost). Ronald Reagan appointed the first female justice, Sandra Day O'Connor, in 1981 (Jost). This under-representation has also been present in terms of ethnicity and race with only one Hispanic justice, Sonia Sotomayor, and two African-American justices, Thurgood Marshall and Clarence Thomas. However, there has been a recent shift in appointees of the Supreme Court in terms of religious affiliation. Today, with the retirement of John Paul Stevens and subsequent confirmation of Elena Kagan, no Protestant justices sit on the Supreme Court. Instead, the Court, once predominately Protestant, now has a Catholic majority.

Throughout the 220-year history of the Supreme Court, only thirteen Catholic justices have been appointed. In fact, the first Catholic justice, Roger B. Taney, was not appointed until 1836. Of the thirteen Catholic justices, six currently sit on the Court. For the first time in history, the Supreme Court has a Catholic majority.

There have been only fourteen Catholic supreme court Justices throughout the history of the same. Seven of them, which is 50%, have been appointed since Reagan in 1986. So 50% of all Catholic supreme court Justices have been appointed in just over the past thirty years. Kavanaugh if appointed, will raise the number to fifteen throughout history, with eight which is over 50% appointed in just over thirty years. His appointment will also bring the Court back to 6 Catholics and three Jews once again establishing a clear majority for Catholics on any vote.

The last Protestant to serve on the Supreme Court was Justice John Paul Steven, who retired in 2010. So much for diversity when it comes to the Supreme Court. Both Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh were educated at Jesuit institutions. Six Catholics on the Supreme Court could of course come in handy if establishing Roman Catholic social doctrine through legislation is desired, as the Pope and Paul Ryan suggest. The speaker of the house believes Catholic social doctrine to be the answer to most of America's problems. Speakers of the house is another interesting topic, concerning the number of Catholics occupying this position in recent history. As has been stated previously in other posts, the ever increasing number of Catholic politicians in this country and their undeniable effect upon the same, cannot be separated from exactly where we have been and are going as a nation.

When the Constitutionality of a national Sunday law is ever brought before the Supreme Court, six justices of the same being Catholic could be a decision in and of itself.

In Fiery Speeches, Francis Excoriates Global Capitalism

The papacy continues its war against Capitalism, now that it has already eliminated Communism as one of her globalist contenders with the aid of the Capitalist west. She reserved her true attitude and intentions toward Capitalists until she had already successfully used their power and influence to topple her other global contender. Now she reveals her true colors in relation to any and all possible contenders for global dominance. When our nation financially collapses due to our politicians spending us into oblivion, they can point their finger and cry, we told you so. Even though a major part of the spending problem is and has been the ever increasing number of Catholic politicians within our government facilitating the papacies global wealth redistribution agenda among other unsustainable spending atrocities.

As the papacy has been the ruin of many a nation in the past, so she will be the ruin of the world in the near globalist future. When the papacy succeeded in removing Protestants, their work ethic, and political effect from France during the reformation, this prosperous nation began a downward spiral. Eventually creating such a huge gap between rich and poor as to lead to one of the most violent revolutions in history. Yet today, so many are willing to heed and implement her authority and designs regarding the same. So be it, history will repeat itself on a global scale this time.

The appointment of Nancy Pelosi again as speaker of the house now puts a Catholic in that position for the seventh Congress in a row. Catholics have occupied this position since the 110th Congress, or 2007. I guess when Catholics are the majority in Congress, we will always have a Catholic Speaker of the House. Whose purpose it is, according to the Vatican, to bring about the establishment of Roman Catholic social teaching and justice through legislation. A government composed of three branches for the purpose of test and balances, fails when two or more of those branches are compromised by a majority the members of whom belong to a foreign political entity which they have freely submitted themselves to.

All emphasis in the following quote from the above link is mine.

QuoteA Vatican Shot Across the Bow for Hard-Line U.S. Catholics

VATICAN CITY — Two close associates of Pope Francis have accused American Catholic ultraconservatives of making an alliance of "hate" with evangelical Christians to back President Trump, further alienating a group already out of the Vatican's good graces.

The authors, writing in a Vatican-vetted journal, singled out Stephen K. Bannon, Mr. Trump's chief strategist, as a "supporter of an apocalyptic geopolitics" that has stymied action against climate change and exploited fears of migrants and Muslims with calls for "walls and purifying deportations."

The article warns that conservative American Catholics have strayed dangerously into the deepening political polarization in the United States. The writers even declare that the worldview of American evangelical and hard-line Catholics, which is based on a literal interpretation of the Bible, is "not too far apart'' from jihadists.

It is not clear if the article, appearing in La Civiltà Cattolica, received the pope's direct blessing, but it was extraordinary coming from a journal that carries the Holy See's seal of approval. There has apparently been no reprimand from the pope, who is not shy about disciplining dissenters, and La Civiltà Cattolica's editor has promoted the article nearly every day since it was published in July.............................................

Ah yes, those bible thumping terrorists. Rome has always been at war with those who study and believe scripture in opposition to her teachings and usurped authority. Now we are terrorists. What rights do terrorists have, and how are they to be treated? Yes, Rome is poised to persecute bible believers once again. Her religious and political success always spells persecution for all who would think and act for themselves against her teachings and wishes. So be it. There is nothing new under the sun.

The article the following quotes were taken from may be viewed at the above link.

QuotePope Francis Attacks Capitalism, Calls for State Control

In a far-ranging 50,000 word statement released by Pope Francis on Tuesday, he illustrated that he is sympathetic to the tenets of liberation theology and hostile to capitalism.

Liberation theology, which is a recent movement that essentially began at the second Latin American Bishops' Conference in Colombia in 1968, believes that social systems that contribute to the economic state of the poor should be overthrown. At that conference, the teachings of Jesus Christ were combined with those of Karl Marx to call for violent revolution to overthrow capitalism. The text that emerged that was later used as inspiration was A Theology of Liberation, written in 1971, by Gustavo Gutiérrez, a Peruvian priest and theologian.

In September 2013, Pope Francis held a meeting with Gutiérrez, and L'Osservatore Romano, the Vatican's semi-official newspaper, published an essay describing it on Sept. 3. The essay asserted that because Francis is the first pope from Latin America, liberation theology can no longer "remain in the shadows to which it has been relegated for some years, at least in Europe."  Michael Lee, associate professor of theology at Fordham University in New York, said that the experience Francis had hailing from South America "is present in the person of Francis and in the Vatican now in a way that it never has been before. What only makes sense is, then, a reopening of the door to this theology that emerged from that context and spoke so powerfully to it, and continues to do so."......................................

So Francis believes that capitalism, which defends the right to a free market system, is to be discarded, while the right of states, "charged with vigilance for the common good," to exercise control over the economic status of the people, is laudable. Lenin would not be disappointed.

QuoteBernie Sanders stresses 'common good' in Vatican attack on capitalism

Bernie Sanders launched one of the most powerful indictments of modern capitalism of his campaign in the Vatican on Friday, saying that the greatest challenge facing the world was a moral imperative to redirect "our efforts and vision to the common good".

The sweeping remarks were delivered in the shadow of St Peter's dome, about an hour after the Democratic presidential candidate touched down in Rome for a short stay in the Eternal City to take part in a Vatican-sponsored academic conference.

Sanders praised the Roman Catholic church for its consistent social teachings on economic matters, saying: "There are few places in modern thought that rival the depth and insight of the church's moral teachings on the market economy.".............................

QuoteNew Vatican Attack on Capitalism

National Catholic Reporter (NCR) ran a series of articles about a new papal document, Oeconomicae et pecuniariae quaestiones, which formalizes Pope Francis' repeated attacks on capitalism. The first article said "Vatican offices decry 'profoundly amoral culture' of global financial system." CRUX was late to this game, being preoccupied with the kabuki theater of the Chilean bishops' resignation for the child abuse scandal. But CRUX had the better introduction: "Vatican sees risk of 'social collapse' in global economic order." The Vatican's top officer, Archbishop Luis Ladaria Ferrer, threatened that failure to heed this prophetic warning will result in a "slip toward a social collapse at the global level, with devastating consequences." The document itself is here.

The Dicastery and its Goal

Pope Francis had two Vatican bureaucracies work on this document. One was the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), previously the Office of the Holy Inquisition, and currently the most important office in the Vatican. The other was the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, which I had never heard of. This is a new bureaucracy Pope Francis created to address "issues regarding migrants, those in need, the sick, the excluded and marginalized, the imprisoned and the unemployed, as well as victims of armed conflict, natural disasters, and all forms of slavery and torture" – the downtrodden from diverse areas and causes, none of which the Church has any control over.

The pope assigned the task to the new Dicastery, but apparently didn't trust himself to supervise it. He made the CDF his surrogate, though no doubt they had considerably more involvement than the pope would have. No one knows what the fully-loaded cost of this effort was, but there is little doubt that it could have supported a great many downtrodden people.

The head of the Dicastery is Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson, who says the new document "offers some guidelines or 'regulations' from the ethical side of the spectrum, with the hope that they can help discern how to manage world resources with freedom, responsibility, justice, solidarity and love." It should be noted that the Vatican itself is not known for such practices. For example, less than a century ago – modern history for the Catholic Church – its key allies were Mussolini, Hitler, and Franco. It consistently opposed what most of us would consider "freedom, responsibility, justice, solidarity and love." It condemned democracy. The freedom-loving Church praised divinely-mandated kings – their euphemism for Catholic kings that played nicely with the Church. For centuries it was the world's wealthiest institution, but it mismanaged its resources and impoverished its people...........................

Summary

While NCR's in-house Jesuit declared, "Vatican document on economics is a serious, intellectually hefty indictment," he provided no examples. He merely praised its emphasis on morality, and decried the absence of morality in the field of economics. Again we find that pious Catholics refuse to let technical knowledge interfere with their religious views. It is why the Papal States were virtually always the poorest and most backward nation in Europe. (When I say poor, I am referring to its people. The Pope and the Vatican were generally among the world's wealthiest men and institutions, respectively.)

This new document contains broad condemnations of parts of the world's financial and economic systems. Most of the criticisms are poorly defined, and its proposed "solutions" are little more than empty platitudes. There is massive ignorance of the technical subject matter.

In a few cases, such as corruption and tax avoidance of multinational corporations and wealthy individuals, the paper defines specific problems that might have been meaningfully pursued. These are problems that world leaders acknowledge, but cannot tackle due to the influence of wealthy corporations and individuals. The Vatican's moral leadership might have proved useful in shaming some parties into participating in agreements to deal with this abuse. It is not too late. If the Vatican is willing to drop all the crap and try to do something useful, they might actually succeed.

The following article is taken from the above link.

WikiLeaks Bombshell: The Soros/Clinton/Vatican Partnership

Thanks to WikiLeaks, we learn that in preparation for the U.S. Papal September visit, the Vatican proactively sought input from the most radical fringe of the Democratic Left. Is this Pope Francis' idea of his peaceful 'dialogue and encounter?

All roads to the Francis Vatican lead back to George Soros.

The secret roadmap is provided by both the WikiLeaks' release of John Podesta emails and DCLeaks documents from George Soros' Open Society Foundation. These emails corroborate that Soros operatives are collaborating with top Vatican cardinals, at the behest of George Soros.

In August 2016, DCLeaks documents hacked from Soros' Open Society, exposed the $650,000 Soros grant to PICO, a radical organization of community organizers for the express purpose to travel to the Vatican for strategy meetings in anticipation of the 2016 election.

What ever happened at the Soros-funded Vatican meeting?

Not surprisingly, the outcome of the PICO 3-day Vatican meeting suddenly materialized in the WikiLeaks emails of John Podesta inbox. A detailed report on the critical PICO/Vatican trip would certainly be of critical interest to the Chairman of the Clinton Presidential Campaign, underscoring the Soros/Clinton/Vatican partnership. (Full disclosure: Soros gave $25 million to the Clinton presidential campaign and Podesta previously chaired the Soros' Center for American Progress). And, indeed, the meeting notes disclose valuable insight and intelligence about the leftist cabal at work in the Vatican.

WikiLeaks pulls back the curtain on the radicals entrenched in the Francis papacy. The PICO Vatican meeting was not simply a brisk cursory papal meet and greet. Rather, documents reveal that Alinsky activists were invited, welcomed, and dined in intense strategy sessions with high level Vatican cardinals. The leaked emails expose the leftist political machinations behind the Francis papacy, where the Soros-funded community organizers coordinated radical messaging with high level papal cardinal confidantes.

Why would Soros underwrite this Vatican trip? It is obviously a wise investment with long term benefits.

The Podesta email cache reinforces the ongoing collaboration of Soros globalists with Francis and his papal minions. From the moment of Bergoglio's papal elevation, George Soros identified Bergoglio as a kindred spirit, a radical globalist, with the much sought after authority and moral voice of the Catholic Church. Pope Francis shares Soros' world view: climate change, mass migration, income inequality, globalism, and capitalism bashing.

Within weeks of the new Francis papacy, Jeffrey Sachs—a longtime member of George Soros' brain trust, also a recipient of $50 million of Soros funds, and top UN official—was invited to and featured as the Vatican's premiere expert on the radical climate change agenda.

As indication of his favored status, Sachs spoke at the Vatican 18 times during the first years of Francis papacy. Sachs orchestrated the UN/Vatican alliance on climate change and assured the Pope Francis seal of approval on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Paris Climate Treaty, inaugurating the globalist agenda. Several Soros confidantes and advisors, are firmly entrenched at the Vatican's Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences promoting the UN/Soros environmental globalist agenda, and the anti-capitalist Occupy Wall Street protests.

The WikiLeaks Podesta emails reveal that the Vatican solicited advice from, and collaborated with leftist community organizers to advance the political platform of the Democratic party. Soros strategically funded PICO progressive activists who appear to serve as de facto advance men for the upcoming Pope's U.S. trip, by discussing papal site visits and political messaging with key Vatican hierarchy.

With the daily cascade of WikiLeaks from John Podesta emails, the Vatican is further unmasked as a sympathizer of the American radical left. The Podesta emails expose the extremist collaborators in power and control in the Francis papacy. From 6/22/15 WikiLeaks-Recap to John Podesta about the Soros-Pico Vatican junket:
"Our team included several PICO African-American pastors deeply involved in Black Lives Matter (BLM)(Soros funds BLM $33 million in one year, ed.) including a Pastor from St. Louis who is on the Ferguson commission; Rev. Alvin Herring, our Deputy Director, who has worked closely with clergy in Baltimore; a DREAMer from Florida; a priest from California who was formerly undocumented himself; a Black Catholic Deacon who is leading our work on mass incarceration in New Orleans; and two workers from SEIU helping to lead the Fight for 15 workers"

Soros dispatched his social justice community PICO activists to the Vatican with orders to shape and frame the Pope's message to Americans. Among the PICO activists in the Vatican delegation was Pastor Michael McBride, who was arrested in Ferguson protesting the phony trumped up mythical drumbeat of police brutality against the not so "gentle giant" Michael Brown. The discussion with the top officials at the Vatican over three days of meetings centered on the leftist agenda:

"We conveyed our view that the Pope is a World leader of historical significance; that his message of exclusion, alarm over rising inequality and concern about globalized indifference is important for the U.S. to hear and see animated during his visit; and that we intend to amplify his remarks so that we have a more profound moral dialogue about policy choices through the election cycle of 2016."

Strikingly, the underlying purpose of the Vatican trip in the report to Clinton Campaign Chairman Podesta is that the delegation reinforced to Vatican officials the 2016 Democratic election talking points. PICO, on instructions from Soros, sought to bang the drumbeat of racial animus, discontent, inequality, and exclusion with the Vatican Curia and Francis speechwriters.

The email confirms that Pope Francis will underscore a strategy of similar themes and messages promulgated from PICO activists:

"
  • ur visit affirmed an overall strategy: Pope Francis, as a leader of global stature, will challenge the "idolatry of the marketplace" in the U.S. and offer a clarion call to change the policies that promote exclusion and indifference to those most marginalized."

The PICO delegation provided stories of injustice and inequality to the Vatican curia. Imagine the race-baiting Ferguson protestors regaling Vatican officials with tales of rampant police brutality and the murder of Michael Brown and other innocent black men! Did the Francis Cardinals even bother to check the outcome of the trumped up Ferguson police brutality charges? Unlikely.

"In our meetings with relevant officials, we strongly recommended that the Pope emphasize – in words and deeds – the need to confront racism and racial hierarchy in the US. Conversations that were originally scheduled for thirty minutes stretched into two hour dialogues."

Alleluia! Sounds like everyone was singing from the same Kumbaya racial discrimination hymnal. How ecumenical of the Vatican to dialogue with Black Lives Matter activists! Did the economic "idolatry of the marketplace" include the $33 million that George Soros provided to BLM protests? Doubt it.

As in our breakfast conversation with Cardinal Rodríguez, senior Vatican officials shared profound insights demonstrating an awareness of the moral, economic and political climate in America."

Clearly, the Vice Pope (#2 at the Vatican) Cardinal Maradiaga Rodriguez promotes and shares the messaging from the community organizers of the American left. While providing input for the Pope's upcoming U.S. visit, the Vatican and PICO delegation agreed that Pope Francis would visit a prison during his trip to the United States. Not surprisingly, during his stopover in Philadelphia, the Pope Francis visited a prison!

We were encouraged to believe that the Pope will confront race through a moral frame. We were told that the Pope will visit a prison while here – demonstrating his concern about incarceration."

The Soros marching orders for the PICO delegation was to hatch, implement, and coordinate Pope Francis' strategic themes and events during his U.S. visit in September 2015. The Vatican agreed to position the Pope's message in alignment with the Soros funded Alinskyites' radical agenda. As any political operative knows, race baiting ensures that the African-American voting bloc is energized to vote Democratic. WikiLeaks unmasks the Francis Church where community organizers are consulted as advance men for the U.S. papal visit providing Francis with speech themes from the radical left.

    The WikiLeaks Podesta email continues:

"This is why we gathered at the Vatican in mid-June, at the encouragement of Cardinal Oscar Andres Rodriguez Maradiaga, often referred to as the "Vice Pope" and a strong supporter of PICO, who had urged us to share our stories, our perspective, and our hopes for the impact of Pope Francis' visit to the United States, with Vatican officials."

So, thanks to WikiLeaks, we learn that in preparation for the U.S. Papal September visit, the Vatican proactively seeks input from the most radical fringe of the Democratic Left, which fomented violence and anarchy in the streets over a faux police brutality charge and racial killing charge in Ferguson. Is this Pope Francis' idea of his peaceful 'dialogue and encounter?

The Podesta email discussed that PICO and the Vatican would agree to keep dialoguing about social justice issues at the July 2015 World Meeting of Movements in Bolivia where Pope Francis would speak to global political activists. The PICO delegation received a personal invite from the Vatican to attend the World Meeting of Movements. PICO did attend the Bolivian meeting, along with their Vatican comrades, Cardinals Turkson and Maradiaga and Pope Francis.

The PICO Bolivia trip to the World Meeting of Movements even afforded the PICO delegation the opportunity to share the podium with the Pope, as Francis focused on the obtuse beatitude of "environmental dignity." Social justi ce activists, like PICO, can quickly adapt and pivot from police brutality and racial inequality to echo Francis concerns about "the impact of climate change on thousands of families."

While in Bolivia at the World Meeting of Movements, Pope Francis received a revolving gift from Bolivian President Evo Morales, the radical socialist activist. Morales gave the Pope a crucifix swathed with a blasphemous communist hammer and sickle. Catholics were scandalized and horrified over this profanation and politicization of the most precious symbol of Catholicism. Apparently, the Vatican took no offense at the gift because President Morales was invited to the Vatican to share the podium with another socialist, Bernie Sanders in April 2016.

Welcome to Francis Church where Jesuitical political action replaced the mundane and tedious teaching of the salvation of souls. The faded and threadbare Bernardin seamless garment of social justice is resurrected from mothballs by the troubling alliance of the Soros global network and the Francis Church. It's time to guard your faith and your wallet.

QuoteAmerica The Jesuit Review

The Editors: The Green New Deal should be improved, not mocked

On Feb. 7 a group of Democrats in Congress unveiled a resolution calling for a "Green New Deal," a massive, 10-year mobilization by the federal government to head off the worst-case scenario of global climate change. The outline for future legislation seeks to meet "100 percent of the power demand in the United States" through renewable sources. Other goals include eliminating greenhouse gas emissions "as much as technologically feasible" and to "achieve maximal energy efficiency" in every building in the United States. It also foresees a radical transformation of the U.S. economy to create millions of new jobs, improve health care and housing, and repair the "historical oppression" of "vulnerable communities," including low-income workers and migrants.

The resolution, introduced by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts, both Democrats, quickly attracted the support of more than 80 members of Congress, as well as several Democrats running for president in 2020. But Republicans have mocked the proposal, with Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming calling it a "socialist manifesto." The Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, called it a plan "to end air travel and cow farts," and Republicans seem ready to tie Democratic candidates to each and every provision of the proposal.

While it is clear that not everything in the Green New Deal is realistically achievable, what is less realistic still is to dismiss it out of hand in order to continue the pretense that climate change can be ignored.

"However indistinct its path to actualization may seem now, the resolution should be welcomed as an important first step toward more detailed legislation."

The Green New Deal is in many ways consistent with the message of Pope Francis' 2015 encyclical "Laudato Si'," which calls on Catholics to favor "forms of industrial production with maximum energy efficiency" (No. 180). The resolution's call for the protection of "frontline and vulnerable communities" echoes the encyclical's warning that the costs of climate change fall most heavily on the poor. In addition, the creation of jobs is consistent with the church's recognition of the necessity and dignity of labor. While there is much work to be done to identify policies that are economically, technologically and politically feasible, ridiculing the idea that climate change demands significant and expeditious political and economic adaptations is incompatible with the spirit of "Laudato Si'."

Yet proponents of the Green New Deal should also take the challenge of climate change seriously enough to avoid turning this resolution into a wish list for every item on their agenda, especially those that are red flags for political conservatives. Whatever one thinks of the advisability of a federal employment guarantee, that question need not have been linked to reforms focusing on clean energy. A focus on job creation through infrastructure investments and the development of green technologies—which is also in the resolution—would demonstrate a desire to attract and maintain political support for a challenging agenda.

The difficulty of responding to the complex problems of climate change is reminiscent of the many attempts to improve health care in the United States. Since World War II, Congress has repeatedly thrown out worthwhile proposals for being too ambitious or displeasing too many constituencies and has even tried to roll back incremental progress toward a health care system on a par with other industrialized nations. The health of our planet is at least as important, but this time we do not have the luxury of spending more than seven decades searching for a solution that pleases everyone.

However indistinct its path to actualization may seem now, the resolution should be welcomed as an important first step toward more detailed legislation.

Big surprise. The Jesuits back up the The New Green Deal submitted by a Catholic following the Vaticans instructions for their politicians and lay people to seek to establish Roman Catholic social teaching and doctrine through legislation. Said Green Deal being identified as in line with Pope Francis' Encyclical telling the whole world what to do about climate change.

QuoteHISTORY OF THE REFORMATION OF THE SIXTEENTH CENTURY
by J. H. Merle D'Aubigne

PREFACE TO VOLUME THIRD

The cause of truth recompenses those who embrace and defend it, and such has been the result with the nations who received the Reformation. In the eighteenth century, at the very moment when Rome thought to triumph by the Jesuits and the scaffold, the victory slipped from her grasp. Rome fell, like Naples, Portugal, and Spain, into inextricable difficulties; and at the same time two Protestant nations arose and began to exercise an influence over Europe that had hitherto belonged to the Roman catholic powers. England came forth victorious from those attacks of the French and Spaniards which the pope had so long been stirring up against her, and the Elector of Brandenburg, in spite of the wrath of Clement XI, encircled his head with a kingly crown. Since that time England has extended her dominion in every quarter of the globe, and Prussia has taken a new rank among the continental states, while a third power, Russia, also separated from Rome, has been growing up in her immense deserts. In this manner have evangelical principles exerted their influence over the countries that have embraced them, and righteousness hath exalted the nations (Proverbs 14:34). Let the evangelical nations be well assured that to Protestantism they are indebted for their greatness. From the moment they abandon the position that God has given them, and incline again towards Rome, they will lose their glory and their power. Rome is now endeavoring to win them over, employing flattery and threats by turns; she would, like Delilah, lull them to sleep upon her knees,.....but it would be to cut off their locks, that their adversaries might put out their eyes and bind them with fetters of brass.(paragraph 6)

So where are this nation and may others headed as the political power and influence of the Roman Catholic religion has been ever increasing among the same? Ever increasingly into irretrievable debt, chaos, and confusion. Amidst conditions both facilitated, and efficacious to the agendas of the church of Rome.

ENCYCLICAL LETTER
LAUDATO SI'
OF THE HOLY FATHER
FRANCIS
ON CARE FOR OUR COMMON HOME
(All emphasis is mine, my comments in blue)

Quote3...............Now, faced as we are with global environmental deterioration, I wish to address every person living on this planet. In my Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium, I wrote to all the members of the Church with the aim of encouraging ongoing missionary renewal. In this Encyclical, I would like to enter into dialogue with all people about our common home.

4. In 1971, eight years after Pacem in Terris, Blessed Pope Paul VI referred to the ecological concern as "a tragic consequence" of unchecked human activity: "Due to an ill-considered exploitation of nature, humanity runs the risk of destroying it and becoming in turn a victim of this degradation".[2] He spoke in similar terms to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations about the potential for an "ecological catastrophe under the effective explosion of industrial civilization", and stressed "the urgent need for a radical change in the conduct of humanity", inasmuch as "the most extraordinary scientific advances, the most amazing technical abilities, the most astonishing economic growth, unless they are accompanied by authentic social and moral progress, will definitively turn against man".[3]

So now, the Pope of Rome assumes his role as his institution proclaims, as leader of the world addressing all inhabitants of the same.  It is time for radical change in the  conduct of humanity. Change according to authentic social and moral progress. Change then of course according to Roman Catholic social doctrine and teaching as this moral guide, backed up by political legislation and enforcement of the same. In other words, the dark ages all over again, with the puppet master Church of Rome pulling all the strings of global politicians enforcing the policies of her moral guidance in action. Individual rights and liberties will of course have to be sacrificed for the common good of all. Nothing new about this power grab.

Quote5. Saint John Paul II became increasingly concerned about this issue. In his first Encyclical he warned that human beings frequently seem "to see no other meaning in their natural environment than what serves for immediate use and consumption".[4] Subsequently, he would call for a global ecological conversion.[5] At the same time, he noted that little effort had been made to "safeguard the moral conditions for an authentic human ecology".[6] The destruction of the human environment is extremely serious, not only because God has entrusted the world to us men and women, but because human life is itself a gift which must be defended from various forms of debasement. Every effort to protect and improve our world entails profound changes in "lifestyles, models of production and consumption, and the established structures of power which today govern societies".[7] Authentic human development has a moral character. It presumes full respect for the human person, but it must also be concerned for the world around us and "take into account the nature of each being and of its mutual connection in an ordered system".[8] Accordingly, our human ability to transform reality must proceed in line with God's original gift of all that is.[9]

So, all governments, peoples lifestyles, jobs, and habits must be changed in line with the papacies moral guidance regarding the fix of climate change. Gee that sounds familiar doesn't it. Can you say Roman Catholic Congress woman's Ocasio-Cotez's Green New Deal. It's the Paris Accord all over again which the American people rejected by electing Donald trump, reintroduced by a Roman Catholic papal minion Congress woman. A lefty progressive leader of the Democrats who themselves are eager to establish and enforce the dogmas of lefty progressive Pope Francis. Nothing new here. Just another power grab attempt by papal minions of the left.

Do we need to protect and care for our earth better perhaps than we have? Certainly, but doing so does not necessitate all the major radical changes specified. These false claims are the details of a power grab intending to redistribute wealth, natural recourses, people, and power from existing peoples and governments into the hands of the papacy and her globalist minions. From rulers elected by their own citizens to serve them and their interests, to unelected overlords who are served over and above those citizens. None of whom by the way will change their lifestyles or consumption. They will though, definitely change their leadership roles into ones of far greater power and control over the individual lives of the citizens of very nation.

Quote6. My predecessor Benedict XVI likewise proposed "eliminating the structural causes of the dysfunctions of the world economy and correcting models of growth which have proved incapable of ensuring respect for the environment".[10] He observed that the world cannot be analyzed by isolating only one of its aspects, since "the book of nature is one and indivisible", and includes the environment, life, sexuality, the family, social relations, and so forth. It follows that "the deterioration of nature is closely connected to the culture which shapes human coexistence".[11] Pope Benedict asked us to recognize that the natural environment has been gravely damaged by our irresponsible behaviour. The social environment has also suffered damage. Both are ultimately due to the same evil: the notion that there are no indisputable truths to guide our lives, and hence human freedom is limitless. We have forgotten that "man is not only a freedom which he creates for himself. Man does not create himself. He is spirit and will, but also nature".[12] With paternal concern, Benedict urged us to realize that creation is harmed "where we ourselves have the final word, where everything is simply our property and we use it for ourselves alone. The misuse of creation begins when we no longer recognize any higher instance than ourselves, when we see nothing else but ourselves".[13]

One of the main causes of the dysfunctions of world economy being addressed above is no doubt the big bad evil Capitalism promoted by the US. The system Popes have come to love to hate, since they finished using it to conquer one of their former political and economic enemies, communism. Having removed them from the global table, they now set their eyes upon defeating the same evil Capitalism they manipulated and used to accomplish the same. This, that they may ride upon the backs of all others to the throne of global dominance.

The Pope's wish us to understand that human freedom is not limitless, and there are "indisputable truths that must guide our lives. "With paternal concern", that is to say that as our Father, they intend of course to be the defenders and implementors of these indisputable truths. This they intend to implement by being the unelected leaders of all the elected leaders of the various nations through manipulation of the same, and the unelected leaders of the UN. While all Christians do believe there are indisputable truths, they believe these truths are primarily found in the word of God, not the teachings of Pope's or the papacy. Submitting to the latter through the manipulative processes described above, would be the repudiation of the Protestant and therefore biblical principles upon which the United States was founded.  It would amount to the sate being subordinate to religion, completely undermining the separation of church and state. Which separation does and always has contradicted the founding principles of the papacy which came into existence and reached its greatest pinnacle of power and prestige when the state enforced her teachings and policies as her subordinate. Climate change is yet again just another avenue Rome is manipulating unto this end.

QuoteUnited by the same concern

7. These statements of the Popes echo the reflections of numerous scientists, philosophers, theologians and civic groups, all of which have enriched the Church's thinking on these questions. Outside the Catholic Church, other Churches and Christian communities – and other religions as well – have expressed deep concern and offered valuable reflections on issues which all of us find disturbing. To give just one striking example, I would mention the statements made by the beloved Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, with whom we share the hope of full ecclesial communion.

8. Patriarch Bartholomew has spoken in particular of the need for each of us to repent of the ways we have harmed the planet, for "inasmuch as we all generate small ecological damage", we are called to acknowledge "our contribution, smaller or greater, to the disfigurement and destruction of creation".[14] He has repeatedly stated this firmly and persuasively, challenging us to acknowledge our sins against creation: "For human beings... to destroy the biological diversity of God's creation; for human beings to degrade the integrity of the earth by causing changes in its climate, by stripping the earth of its natural forests or destroying its wetlands; for human beings to contaminate the earth's waters, its land, its air, and its life – these are sins".[15] For "to commit a crime against the natural world is a sin against ourselves and a sin against God".[16]

As the primary globalist institution of this earth, the papacy of course not only addresses the globe, but presents its agenda driven politics as a global movement. Which indeed it is. She helps create and foster her globalist movements and politics through the amalgamation of her own interests with as many others as possible, and then presents them as a united front under the banner of her global moral leadership. While there is much truth in the above statement, one little lie or presumption thrown into the mix has serious political implications and even more so when combined with the other truths presented. Human effect upon climate change is a very complex and widely disputed issue, if one will look beyond the controlled media political machine. Those who will resist this movement will of course be branded sinners against creation.

Human beings must, do, and will consume natural resources to live. Such is in no way shape or form sin. Irresponsible and destructive habits of such which unnecessarily waste and or destroy the earth and these resources is of course a sin against God and humanity.  Billions of human beings absolutely will effect the climate of the earth. The question is how much, and how dangerous are these effects? The question is very complex, and contrary to claims of the controlled media political machinery, there is a great deal of difference of opinion concerning the same. I say opinion and maintain that at this point in any case, our speculations concerning this very complex issue remain just that. "Scientists" continually prove themselves wrong over and again over time. There is no good reason therefore to take political actions that will amount to a global take over of the governments of the various nations of this world by unelected religious leaders in cahoots with unelected UN leaders. There is no good reason to ever take away the freedoms, liberties, and protected interests of nations from the people of the same, and the officials they elected to protect and promote their interests.

A nation whose leaders submit themselves to these unelected usurpers is a traitor to their nation. All such attempts to rob peoples of various nations of power and control over their own lives through officials they elected to represent their own interests, are underhanded efforts of tyrannical usurpers and opportunists who care about nothing but the establishment of their own power over all others. The institution and its Encyclical under examination right here and now, is infamous for involvement in just such manipulation and usurpation throughout its history. Her tremendous efforts to establish a global government and economic system tied directly to the religions of this world with herself at their head, are nothing less than BABYLON THE GREAT'S efforts to bring about and ride the final global beast of biblical prophecy. All students or investigators of biblical prophecy understand that there will be a final global beast power at the end of time. That beast is ridden by a final form of apostate religion which unites all of fallen humanity in rebellion against God and His people. The boot fits, Rome might as well wear it, it will fit no other as well as her. Maybe there is more to the southern end of Italy being shaped like  a boot, than any have realized.

Quote9. At the same time, Bartholomew has drawn attention to the ethical and spiritual roots of environmental problems, which require that we look for solutions not only in technology but in a change of humanity; otherwise we would be dealing merely with symptoms. He asks us to replace consumption with sacrifice, greed with generosity, wastefulness with a spirit of sharing, an asceticism which "entails learning to give, and not simply to give up. It is a way of loving, of moving gradually away from what I want to what God's world needs. It is liberation from fear, greed and compulsion".[17] As Christians, we are also called "to accept the world as a sacrament of communion, as a way of sharing with God and our neighbours on a global scale. It is our humble conviction that the divine and the human meet in the slightest detail in the seamless garment of God's creation, in the last speck of dust of our planet".[18]

Same theme. Humanity must change. Peoples and governments must submit to the Papacies globalist vision in order to escape the fear, greed, and compulsion they are now slaves to. The man of sin offering the world salvation through a new Green Deal, but their salvation lies within Jesus Christ alone. Nothing but submission to the gospel of Jesus Christ will save even a single soul of this earth.

This Pope, his prelates, bishops, and priests who all live off of other peoples dimes, want all of us to change. While sitting upon one of the largest mounds of wealth the world over given to them by others, they want the world over to stop consuming and sacrifice al the more for their cause. Stop being greedy and be more generous to their cause. Stop being wasteful and share more for their cause. Don't just give up your freedoms, liberties, and way of life, but give them to them by submitting to their cause.

They are not really asking you to do this though. They have already been doing this without your consent or even knowledge. They are asking your politicians to do this in your stead, and on your behalf. Through whom they have already been redistributing your wealth, not their own. Your jobs and natural resources, not their own. Invading your nation and nations with countless legal and illegal immigrants as well to share in your jobs, wealth, and natural resources with or without your consent or knowledge. Whether you agree or not they intend that the politicians you elected to represent your interests ignore the same and implement their interests as the unelected elites of this world. That is right, the politicians of this world living upon your dimes, and the papacy and it's minions living upon your dimes, intend to bypass your interests to establish their own agenda's at your expense. None of whom are making or will make the sacrifices they have already and will continue to force upon you. To the contrary, they will continue to live high on the hog and travel the world implementing their agenda and making millions in business deals regarding the same, all on your dime. All of this of course, in absolute repudiation of everything the founding fathers of this nation envisioned in the setting up of our Constitution and government for the people by the people.

QuoteSaint Francis of Assisi
10. I do not want to write this Encyclical without turning to that attractive and compelling figure, whose name I took as my guide and inspiration when I was elected Bishop of Rome. I believe that Saint Francis is the example par excellence of care for the vulnerable and of an integral ecology lived out joyfully and authentically. He is the patron saint of all who study and work in the area of ecology, and he is also much loved by non-Christians. He was particularly concerned for God's creation and for the poor and outcast. He loved, and was deeply loved for his joy, his generous self-giving, his openheartedness. He was a mystic and a pilgrim who lived in simplicity and in wonderful harmony with God, with others, with nature and with himself. He shows us just how inseparable the bond is between concern for nature, justice for the poor, commitment to society, and interior peace.

PART I.
ADMONITIONS, RULES, ETC.
I.
WORDS OF ADMONITION OF OUR HOLY FATHER ST. FRANCIS.

ADMONITIONS.

Quote1. Of the Lord's Body
The Lord Jesus said to His disciples: "I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No man cometh to the Father, but by Me. If you had known Me you would, without doubt, have known My Father also: and from henceforth you shall
know Him, and you have seen Him. Philip saith to Him: Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us. Jesus saith to him: Have I been so long a time with you and have you not known Me? Philip, he that seeth Me seeth [My] Father also. How sayest thou, Shew us the Father?" 1 The Father "inhabiteth light inaccessible," 2 and "God is a spirit," 3 and "no man hath seen God at any time." 4 Because God is a spirit, therefore it is only by the spirit He can be seen, for "it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing." 5 For neither is the Son, inasmuch as He is equal to the Father, seen by any one other than by the Father, other than by the Holy Ghost. Wherefore, all those who saw the Lord Jesus Christ according to humanity and did not see and believe according to the Spirit and the Divinity, that He was the Son of God, were condemned. In like manner, all those who behold the Sacrament of the Body of Christ which is sanctified by the word of the Lord upon the altar by the hands of the priest in the form of bread and wine, and who do not see and believe according to the Spirit and Divinity that It is really the most holy Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, are condemned, He the Most High having declared it when He said, "This is My Body, and the Blood of the New Testament," 6 and "he that eateth My Flesh and drinketh My Blood hath everlasting life.".....................................

26. That the Servants of God should honor Clerics.
Blessed is the servant of God who exhibits confidence in clerics who live uprightly according to the form of the holy Roman Church. And woe to those who despise them: for even though they [the clerics] may be sinners, nevertheless no one ought to judge them, because the Lord Himself reserves to Himself alone the right of judging them. For as the administration with which they are charged, to wit, of the most holy Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, which they receive and which they alone administer to others—is greater than all others, even so the sin of those who offend against them is greater than any against all the other men in this world.

Yes, the papacy seeks to save all of the world from climate change by submission to her leadership, even those she herself condemns.

ENCYCLICAL LETTER
LAUDATO SI'
OF THE HOLY FATHER
FRANCIS
ON CARE FOR OUR COMMON HOME
(All emphasis is mine, my comments in blue)

Quote11. Francis helps us to see that an integral ecology calls for openness to categories which transcend the language of mathematics and biology, and take us to the heart of what it is to be human. Just as happens when we fall in love with someone, whenever he would gaze at the sun, the moon or the smallest of animals, he burst into song, drawing all other creatures into his praise. He communed with all creation, even preaching to the flowers, inviting them "to praise the Lord, just as if they were endowed with reason".[19] His response to the world around him was so much more than intellectual appreciation or economic calculus, for to him each and every creature was a sister united to him by bonds of affection. That is why he felt called to care for all that exists. His disciple Saint Bonaventure tells us that, "from a reflection on the primary source of all things, filled with even more abundant piety, he would call creatures, no matter how small, by the name of 'brother' or 'sister'".[20] Such a conviction cannot be written off as naive romanticism, for it affects the choices which determine our behaviour. If we approach nature and the environment without this openness to awe and wonder, if we no longer speak the language of fraternity and beauty in our relationship with the world, our attitude will be that of masters, consumers, ruthless exploiters, unable to set limits on their immediate needs. By contrast, if we feel intimately united with all that exists, then sobriety and care will well up spontaneously. The poverty and austerity of Saint Francis were no mere veneer of asceticism, but something much more radical: a refusal to turn reality into an object simply to be used and controlled.

12. What is more, Saint Francis, faithful to Scripture, invites us to see nature as a magnificent book in which God speaks to us and grants us a glimpse of his infinite beauty and goodness. "Through the greatness and the beauty of creatures one comes to know by analogy their maker" (Wis 13:5); indeed, "his eternal power and divinity have been made known through his works since the creation of the world" (Rom 1:20). For this reason, Francis asked that part of the friary garden always be left untouched, so that wild flowers and herbs could grow there, and those who saw them could raise their minds to God, the Creator of such beauty.[21] Rather than a problem to be solved, the world is a joyful mystery to be contemplated with gladness and praise.

QuoteThe Pope and the Pantheist

I was surprised to learn that Hans Schellnhuber is a scientific adviser to the Vatican.

He is a self professed atheist. Although he does not believe in God, he does believe in Mother Earth--or "Gaia," an evolved version of pantheism.

In the Gaia principle, Mother Earth is alive, and even some think aware in some ill-defined, mystical way of what is happening, or alleged to be happening in the environment.

Mother Earth, the Gaians believe, is aware of man and his activities, and frankly, not to happy with him.

Is the Pope aware that Schellnhuber is advising the Vatican? And is he aware of the beliefs Schellnhuber holds and advocates?

St. Francis of Assisi's hymn, "Laudato Si" (The Care For Our Common Home), spoke of "Brothers", Sun and Fire and "Sisters" Moon and Water, using these colorful phrases figuratively, as a way of praising God's Creation.

These words apparently touched Pope Francis in such a way that he named his recent encyclical after this hymn.

Most Catholics do not believe Pope Francis nor St. Francis took the words literally, nor do they think that either believe that fire was or is alive and can be reasoned with, or worse yet, worshiped.

It is strange, however, that an atheist who advocates Gaia and scientific pantheism would be advising the Vatican.

The Gaia principle was first advanced by chemist James Lovelock, who later back peddled a bit on the concept, and Lynn Margulis in the 1970s. They began by claiming that all life interacts with the Earth, and the Earth with all life, to form a giant self-regulating, living system, thus removing a need for the concept of a Creator God.

It is an evolved form of pantheism---God is in everything, therefore everything is God, simply stated.

I was close to this so-called "breakthrough" in the 1970s because I was a youth pastor in North Hollywood, CA and was holding regular Bible studies at a number of college and university campuses including UCLA, Cal State Northridge and others.

These guys were circulating through campuses across the country. And kids were buying in.

In 1999, Schellnhuber wrote in the "Nature" paper that "the biosphere contributes in an almost cognizant way to self regulating feedback mechanisms that have kept the Earth's surface environment stable and habitable for life."

The Earth is living and has cognitive skills. It interacts with people, they say.

This belief includes the idea that rather than Earth's plate-tectonic processes creating earthquakes that effect human life, it's the other way around---life as we live it effects earthquakes.

The National Catholic Register is expressing concern regarding this kind of influence on the Vatican, particularly following the Pope's recent statements regarding climate change and the environment.

Again in 2004, Schellnhuber, writing in "Nature," said "mankind perturbs"...the global "metabolism" of the planet.

Again in 2009 he co-authored an article for the National Academy of Sciences with the theme of "global tipping points in climate change."

Among Schellnhuber's tipping points was a prediction that massive amounts of Greenland's ice would melt by 2015. The ice did not melt as predicted.

Tipping points to these folks are supposed moments when some doom which might have been avoided if some action was taken, is no longer possible to avoid because the action was not taken.

Usually a follow-up opportunity to take action is given when the tipping point does not actually occur as predicted.

Tipping points in global warming, a.k.a. climate change have come and gone for decades.

Political leaders, tyrants and religious cult leaders often use the same format to create the action they desire.

President Obama, at a San Francisco fundraiser the other night, followed the pattern to perfection.

He told the group gathered in a private home that within our children's lifetime, the oceans will rise "maybe two, maybe three, maybe four feet."

By 2300, he said the oceans could rise "10 to 16 feet."

Here's the closer: "The magnitude of the changes that could be taking place if we don't get a handle on this are irreversible."

Classic.

Shellnhuber is perhaps most famous for once predicting that the "carrying capacity" of the earth was "below" 1 billion people. That's how I first became aware of him.

His gospel of doom through overpopulation had more credibility in crowed Los Angles than say North Dakota, and students I knew were being drawn in, discussing possible legislation that would limit each family to only one child, etc.

When later confronted with this, he simply called the people who were confronting him "liars," claiming he didn't actually say that.

In his interviews, articles and speeches, he has often included population control as the only viable means of saving the earth, however, he was very subtle and nuanced in the way it was presented.

Population control, he advocated, could best be achieved through sex education. His words strongly suggest he is advocating for birth control.

Birth control is something Pope Francis is strongly repudiating in his encyclical.

"The Stream" says this is confirmation bias.

They say, "Confirmation bias happens when a scientist manipulates an experiment so that he gets the outcome he hoped he would get. When Schellnhuber invites only believers in tipping-points-of-doom to characterize their guesses of this doom, his view is that the doom is real will be confirmed. And when he publishes a paper that says ' Scientists say world is doomed' the public and politicians believe it. Scientists skeptical of the doom are dismissed because they are skeptics."

" This isn't good science. It's really bad religion, and a pagan one at that," they say.

They conclude, "Given this, how likely is it that the Holy Father was fully aware of the views of the chief scientist who advised him?"

Be Informed. Be Discerning. Be Vigilant.

QuoteThe Scientific Pantheist Who Advises Pope Francis

The scientist who influenced Laudato Si, and who serves at the Vatican's science office, seems to believe in Gaia, but not in God.

St. Francis of Assisi's hymn Laudato Si' spoke of "Brothers" Sun and Fire and "Sisters" Moon and Water, using these colorful phrases figuratively, as a way of praising God's creation. These sentimental words so touched Pope Francis that he named his encyclical after this canticle (repeated in paragraph 87 of the Holy Father's letter).

Neither Pope Francis nor St. Francis took the words literally, of course. Neither believed that fire was alive and could be talked to or reasoned with or, worse, worshiped. Strange, then, that a self-professed atheist and scientific advisor to the Vatican named Hans Schellnhuber appears to believe in a Mother Earth.

Gaia

The Gaia Principle, first advanced by chemist James Lovelock (who has lately had second thoughts) and microbiologist Lynn Margulis in the 1970s, says that all life interacts with the Earth, and the Earth with all life, to form a giant self-regulating, living system.

This goes far beyond the fact that the Earth's climate system has feedbacks, which are at the very center of the debate over climate change. In the Gaia Principle, Mother Earth is alive, and even, some think, aware in some ill-defined, mystical way. The Earth knows man and his activities and, frankly, isn't too happy with him.

This is what we might call "scientific pantheism," a kind that appeals to atheistic scientists. It is an updated version of the pagan belief that the universe itself is God, that the Earth is at least semi-divine — a real Brother Sun and Sister Water! Mother Earth is immanent in creation and not transcendent, like the Christian God.

What's this have to do with Schellnhuber? In the 1999 Nature paper "'Earth system' analysis and the second Copernican revolution," he said:

Ecosphere science is therefore coming of age, lending respectability to its romantic companion, Gaia theory, as pioneered by Lovelock and Margulis. This hotly debated 'geophysiological' approach to Earth-system analysis argues that the biosphere contributes in an almost cognizant way to self-regulating feedback mechanisms that have kept the Earth's surface environment stable and habitable for life.

Geo-physiological, in case you missed it. Cognizant, in black and white. So dedicated is Schellnhuber to this belief that he says "the Gaia approach may even include the influence of biospheric activities on the Earth's plate-tectonic processes."  Not the other way around, mind you, where continental drift and earthquakes effects life, but where life effects earthquakes.

He elaborates:

Although effects such as the glaciations may still be interpreted as over-reactions to small disturbances — a kind of cathartic geophysiological fever — the main events, resulting in accelerated maturation by shock treatment, indicate that Gaia faces a powerful antagonist. Rampino has proposed personifying this opposition as Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction.

Mother Earth gets the flu and instead of white blood cells and a rise in temperature to fend off the infection, it sends white ice and a decrease in temperatures. How? Geophysiologically! I remind the reader that our author, writing in one of the world's most prominent science journals, does not use these propositions metaphorically. He proposes them as actual mechanisms.

Schellnhuber echoes the theme of a cognizant, i.e. self-aware, planet in another (co-authored) 2004 paper in Nature 2004, "Climbing the co-evolution ladder," suggesting again that mankind is an infection, saying that mankind "perturbs ... the global 'metabolism'" of the planet.

Tipping Points

Schellnhuber, a one-time quantum physicist who turned his attention to Mother Earth late in his career, was also co-author of a 2009 Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences paper "Imprecise probability assessment of tipping points in the climate system," which asked select scientists their gut assessment about the arrival of various "tipping points." Tipping points are a theme of Schellnhuber's research (see inter alia this and this).

Tipping points are supposed moments when some doom which might have been avoided if some action had been taken, is no longer possible to avoid and will arrive no matter what. Tipping points have come and gone in climate forecasts for decades now. The promised dooms never arrive but the false prophets never quit.  Their intent is less to forecast than to induce something short of panic in order to plead for political intervention. When the old tipping point is past, theorists just change the date, issue new warnings and hope no one will notice.

One of the tipping points Schellnhuber asked about was the melting of the Greenland ice sheet, depending on what the temperature did. All of the selected experts (who answered the questions in 2004 and 2005) gave moderate (~15-25%) to quite high probabilities (50-80%) for this event to have occurred by 2015. The ice did not melt.

Schellnhuber presented more tipping points to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences in 2014 in the co-authored paper, "Climate-System Tipping Points and Extreme Weather Events." In that paper, Schellnhuber has a "scientific" graph with Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel Adam "flicking" a planet earth over a methane tipping point, such that the earth would roll down into a fiery pit labeled the "Warming Abyss." Hell on earth.

The Problem of People

Schellnhuber is most famous for predicting that the "carrying capacity" of the earth is "below" 1 billion people. When confronted with this, he called those who quoted him "liars." But he then repeated the same claim, saying, "All I said was that if we had unlimited global warming of eight degrees warming, maybe the carrying capacity of the earth would go down to just 1 billion, and then the discussion would be settled."  And he has often said that this temperature tipping point would be reached — unless "actions" were taken.

The man is suspicious of people. In that same interview he said, "If you want to reduce human population, there are wonderful means: Improve the education of girls and young women." Since young women already know where babies come from, and since this knowledge tends neither to increase nor decrease population, the "education" he has in mind must be facts about how to avoid the consequences of sex. Austin Ruse discovered a 2009 talk in which Schellnhuber said the earth "will explode" due to resource depletion once the population reaches 9 billion, a number that the UN projects in 2050. Presumably he wants earth to avoid that fate, so he must support the population control that Pope Francis so clearly repudiated in his encyclical.

Bad Religion

Confirmation bias happens when a scientist manipulates an experiment so that he gets the outcome he hoped he would get. When Schellnhuber invites only believers in tipping-points-of-doom to characterize their guesses of this doom, his view that the doom is real will be confirmed. And when he publishes a paper that says, "Scientists say world is doomed" the public and politicians believe it. Scientists skeptical of the doom are dismissed because they are skeptics. This isn't good science. It's really bad religion, and a pagan one at that.

Global warming research is characterized by an insider's club. If you believe, you're in. If you doubt, you're out. This is also so at the Pontifical Academies of Science where Schellnhuber was appointed by Bishop Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo. The bishop locked scientists with contrary views out of the process, scientists he has repeatedly dismissed as "funded by the oil industry." Given this, how likely is it that the Holy Father was fully aware of the views of the chief scientist who advised him?

Excerpts from -
ENCYCLICAL LETTER
LAUDATO SI'
OF THE HOLY FATHER
FRANCIS
ON CARE FOR OUR COMMON HOME
(All emphasis is mine, my comments in blue)

QuoteMy appeal
13. The urgent challenge to protect our common home includes a concern to bring the whole human family together to seek a sustainable and integral development, for we know that things can change. The Creator does not abandon us; he never forsakes his loving plan or repents of having created us. Humanity still has the ability to work together in building our common home. Here I want to recognize, encourage and thank all those striving in countless ways to guarantee the protection of the home which we share. Particular appreciation is owed to those who tirelessly seek to resolve the tragic effects of environmental degradation on the lives of the world's poorest. Young people demand change. They wonder how anyone can claim to be building a better future without thinking of the environmental crisis and the sufferings of the excluded.

14. I urgently appeal, then, for a new dialogue about how we are shaping the future of our planet. We need a conversation which includes everyone, since the environmental challenge we are undergoing, and its human roots, concern and affect us all. The worldwide ecological movement has already made considerable progress and led to the establishment of numerous organizations committed to raising awareness of these challenges. Regrettably, many efforts to seek concrete solutions to the environmental crisis have proved ineffective, not only because of powerful opposition but also because of a more general lack of interest. Obstructionist attitudes, even on the part of believers, can range from denial of the problem to indifference, nonchalant resignation or blind confidence in technical solutions. We require a new and universal solidarity. As the bishops of Southern Africa have stated: "Everyone's talents and involvement are needed to redress the damage caused by human abuse of God's creation". [22] All of us can cooperate as instruments of God for the care of creation, each according to his or her own culture, experience, involvements and talents.

Nothing new in the above, just the papacy pushing its globalist agenda through yet another avenue. Care for our common home, under the guiding and compelling leadership of Rome. All who do not submit to said compulsion and leadership are Obstructionists with an attitude. Nations and people who will not comply will of course eventually have to be dealt with, one way or another.

Quote15. It is my hope that this Encyclical Letter, which is now added to the body of the Church's social teaching, can help us to acknowledge the appeal, immensity and urgency of the challenge we face. I will begin by briefly reviewing several aspects of the present ecological crisis, with the aim of drawing on the results of the best scientific research available today, letting them touch us deeply and provide a concrete foundation for the ethical and spiritual itinerary that follows. I will then consider some principles drawn from the Judaeo-Christian tradition which can render our commitment to the environment more coherent. I will then attempt to get to the roots of the present situation, so as to consider not only its symptoms but also its deepest causes. This will help to provide an approach to ecology which respects our unique place as human beings in this world and our relationship to our surroundings. In light of this reflection, I will advance some broader proposals for dialogue and action which would involve each of us as individuals, and also affect international policy. Finally, convinced as I am that change is impossible without motivation and a process of education, I will offer some inspired guidelines for human development to be found in the treasure of Christian spiritual experience.

Climate Change politics are now part of Roman Catholic social teaching. Which social teaching is to be implemented through legislation where ever adherents of Rome are found. Enter AOC and the large number of other Catholics inhabiting our legislative halls, and all the lefty progressive compliant minions. The conservative Climate Change denying Obstructionists with an attitude, certainly have a battle on their hands. If we are not serious about the matter, it will certainly be a lost cause.

Quote16. Although each chapter will have its own subject and specific approach, it will also take up and re-examine important questions previously dealt with. This is particularly the case with a number of themes which will reappear as the Encyclical unfolds. As examples, I will point to the intimate relationship between the poor and the fragility of the planet, the conviction that everything in the world is connected, the critique of new paradigms and forms of power derived from technology, the call to seek other ways of understanding the economy and progress, the value proper to each creature, the human meaning of ecology, the need for forthright and honest debate, the serious responsibility of international and local policy, the throwaway culture and the proposal of a new lifestyle. These questions will not be dealt with once and for all, but reframed and enriched again and again.

Since everything in the world is connected and effects the environment, then everything must be controlled of course. We must seek other ways to understand economy and progress, which is no doubt reference to changing the evils of Capitalism which the papacy continually points out.  I'm not sure exactly what the "intimate relationship between the poor and the fragility of the planet" is, but feel fairly confident that the answer to such will include increased wealth redistribution to help alleviate the same.

QuoteI. POLLUTION AND CLIMATE CHANGE

Pollution, waste and the throwaway culture

20. Some forms of pollution are part of people's daily experience. Exposure to atmospheric pollutants produces a broad spectrum of health hazards, especially for the poor, and causes millions of premature deaths. People take sick, for example, from breathing high levels of smoke from fuels used in cooking or heating. There is also pollution that affects everyone, caused by transport, industrial fumes, substances which contribute to the acidification of soil and water, fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and agrotoxins in general. Technology, which, linked to business interests, is presented as the only way of solving these problems, in fact proves incapable of seeing the mysterious network of relations between things and so sometimes solves one problem only to create others.

While there is certainly truth in the above statement, accepting some more extreme examples, people live a good bit longer now than they did before all of this advancing industry and technology arose. We certainly have better measures to diagnose and address sickness and disease, and much better methodology, information, and technology to address said problems than ever before. The answer to said problems then is of course the application of all such to solving these issues, not political confiscation, control, and censorship of all matters related to the same. All such is an obvious attempt to use fear mongering tactics to make a huge power grab by the unelected elitists promoting the same.

As far as the creation of problems due to our short sightedness and lack of knowledge, more precaution should certainly be taken concerning cause and effect. Nevertheless, we simply do not know, what we do not know. Nor can leaders be more trusted with properly using or employing technology than others. To the contrary, they have proved how corrupted they become themselves as their power increases, all throughout history. This is particularly true concerning the very institution authoring the document we are presently examining, which is unquestionably calling for greater power in fewer hands of unelected globalist officials.

Nuclear power and weapons are prime examples of leaders rushing ahead of knowledge and even in spite of knowledge to reap the immediate benefits of such at unquestionable cost to humanity. Nuclear power produces an endless and ever growing amount of highly dangerous waste which remains so for a ridiculously long time after the benefits of such are long gone. Nuclear weapons are of course highly destructive and produce much the same in radical and extreme immediate effect upon people and the environment. Once we understood at all what they did or do, only an absolute idiot would blow them up anymore for any reason. Yet governments and scientists have blown up who knows how many to test the same. Each and every explosion causing no doubt irreversible damage to not only local environment, but know doubt global environment. Some things simply are not worth testing.

Quote21. Account must also be taken of the pollution produced by residue, including dangerous waste present in different areas. Each year hundreds of millions of tons of waste are generated, much of it non-biodegradable, highly toxic and radioactive, from homes and businesses, from construction and demolition sites, from clinical, electronic and industrial sources. The earth, our home, is beginning to look more and more like an immense pile of filth. In many parts of the planet, the elderly lament that once beautiful landscapes are now covered with rubbish. Industrial waste and chemical products utilized in cities and agricultural areas can lead to bioaccumulation in the organisms of the local population, even when levels of toxins in those places are low. Frequently no measures are taken until after people's health has been irreversibly affected.

22. These problems are closely linked to a throwaway culture which affects the excluded just as it quickly reduces things to rubbish. To cite one example, most of the paper we produce is thrown away and not recycled. It is hard for us to accept that the way natural ecosystems work is exemplary: plants synthesize nutrients which feed herbivores; these in turn become food for carnivores, which produce significant quantities of organic waste which give rise to new generations of plants. But our industrial system, at the end of its cycle of production and consumption, has not developed the capacity to absorb and reuse waste and by-products. We have not yet managed to adopt a circular model of production capable of preserving resources for present and future generations, while limiting as much as possible the use of non-renewable resources, moderating their consumption, maximizing their efficient use, reusing and recycling them. A serious consideration of this issue would be one way of counteracting the throwaway culture which affects the entire planet, but it must be said that only limited progress has been made in this regard.

Government initiated education, support, and implementation of services related to all the above would no doubt be acceptable to the vast majority of people.  Most of whom would no doubt willingly cooperate with such efforts.  Government seizure, control, and enforcement of endless rules and regulations concerning the same is of course non conducive to free society and government for and by the people. Use our taxes and elected status as our representatives, not as our overlords tasked with ramming the agenda of globalist big government down our throats at the request of unelected, self appointed usurpers of power. 23. The climate is a common good, belonging to all and meant for all. At the global level, it is a complex system linked to many of the essential conditions for human life. A very solid scientific consensus indicates that we are presently witnessing a disturbing warming of the climatic system. In recent decades this warming has been accompanied by a constant rise in the sea level and, it would appear, by an increase of extreme weather events, even if a scientifically determinable cause cannot be assigned to each particular phenomenon. Humanity is called to recognize the need for changes of lifestyle, production and consumption, in order to combat this warming or at least the human causes which produce or aggravate it. It is true that there are other factors (such as volcanic activity, variations in the earth's orbit and axis, the solar cycle), yet a number of scientific studies indicate that most global warming in recent decades is due to the great concentration of greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, methane, nitrogen oxides and others) released mainly as a result of human activity. Concentrated in the atmosphere, these gases do not allow the warmth of the sun's rays reflected by the earth to be dispersed in space. The problem is aggravated by a model of development based on the intensive use of fossil fuels, which is at the heart of the worldwide energy system. Another determining factor has been an increase in changed uses of the soil, principally deforestation for agricultural purposes.

The climate is not a common good. It is in fact often very bad to various places and people. It does not belong to us, but to God who created the world and it. He has altered it before and is in control of it at all times, to do with as He pleases. It is bad enough for the Popes to usurp that which belongs to God for themselves, let alone now declaring that which is God's as belonging to fallen humanity. Nevertheless, all false religion is in the end, simply the worship of self. God and even the evil one have far more control and or effect upon the climate of this world than humanity will ever have, if or whensoever they choose to change or effect it. The scriptures make this point quite clear. We should most certainly be good stewards of God's planet. Doing so does not require though, that we hand national sovereignty or personal liberty over to unelected globalist elitists because they have decided that climate belongs to humanity, and have declared themselves the leaders of humanity.

Job 38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? 3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. 4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? 8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? 9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, 10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, 11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed? 12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; 13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? 14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment 15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken. 16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? 17 Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death? 18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all. 19 Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof, 20 That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof? 21 Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great? 22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, 23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? 24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?25 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder; 26 To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man; 27 To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth? 28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew? 29 Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it? 30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen..............................................
34 Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee? 35 Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are? 36 Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart? 37 Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven, 38 When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?

Where was the Pope and his elitist minions and allies when God laid the above foundations? Do they have God's control of all of the above? Can they give it to the rest of humanity? Why do they darken council, and place themselves above God and humanity? Did you elect them to such? I certainly did not.

QuoteIslamic leaders join growing religious outcry over climate change

Every religion has a tradition of respect for the God-given natural world. But the summer of 2015 has become a surprise season of revival for these oft-ignored lessons in creation care.

Jews, Catholics, Protestants, Muslims and Buddhists have all heard a fresh call for stepped-up guardianship of the planet. In the process, many religious leaders have broken an uneasy peace with the marketplace, attacking the great wheel of capitalism—once trusted to pull us all skyward—for plunging the world into a state of corruption, injustice and ecological ruin.

The Islamic community became the latest to reaffirm a duty of stewardship on Tuesday, when prominent Muslims from 20 countries urged all 1.6 billion followers of the Prophet Muhammad to "set in motion a new model of well-being."

In the 8-page declaration, signed at a gathering in Istanbul, Turkey, religious leaders including the Grand Muftis of Lebanon and Uganda issued an urgent message to madrasses and mosques worldwide.

To avoid "ending life as we know it," they called for "a rapid phase-out of fossil fuels," which scientists blame for global warming. They also urged a swift transition to "100% renewable energy" by mid-century.

But the document also veers into the social and cultural, asking Muslims everywhere "to tackle the habits, mindsets, and root causes of climate change, environmental degradation, and loss of biodiversity."

That's where the dictates of Islam collide with capitalism itself. The scholars affirm that our "relentless pursuit of economic growth and consumption" has caused not only climate change but a degradation of the land, air and sea that gave rise to life in the first place. And they demand "an urgent and radical reappraisal" of the way we have gobbled up natural resources since the Industrial Revolution.

In perhaps the document's most radical passage, Muslim leaders called on "oil-producing" states to keep their oil in the ground, and "re-focus their concerns from unethical profit from the environment, to that of preserving it and elevating the condition of the world's poor." That's unlikely to go over well in Saudi Arabia, home to the now contradictory prizes of Islamic holy sites and epic fossil fuel reserves.

The statements are not the first pangs of environmental conscience from the Islamic community, nor do they constitute official doctrine in a religion that has no recognized central authority. But they are nonetheless a new chapter in the ecological story now being told by many of the world's religions.

In June, Pope Francis called on the world's Catholics to care for "our common home," warning "every living person on this planet" about wrecking the place with "consumerism," "individualism," and "an unprecedented destruction of ecosystems."

He also directly attacked "the deification of the market," inviting "a bold cultural revolution" in the way we live and work. He asked his followers to slow down, drop the iPhone, and give up on the idea of infinite growth and boundless, buyable pleasures.

More than 100 Catholic and evangelical leaders quickly agreed, buying full-page newspaper ads and spreading their support from pulpits both real and digital. That same month, more than 300 rabbis added their voice to the movement.

In a letter to the Forward, they called on Jews to "turn our science and our moral wisdom toward shaping a world of shared, sustainable resources" – one where "eco-social justice" is the norm. The same message has been shared by the Dalai Lama, who chimed in the same month with a post on Twitter.
"Since climate change and the global economy now affect us all," he wrote, in defiance of capitalisms vaunted fruits of competition, "we have to develop a sense of the oneness of humanity."

Other groups have decided to use the market against itself, divesting from fossil fuels in an effort to choke the cash out of companies that trade in non-renewable resources. The World Council of Churches, Unitarian Universalists, Union Seminary, the Episcopal Church, and the Church of England have all joined that movement.

But will this reawakening be enough to tilt the earth toward sustainability? That's far from clear. In Paris this coming November and December, climate ministers will gather in hopes of negotiating a new agreement, one that keeps the world within what scientists consider to be a safe level of warming.

So far, however, researchers say the plans don't go far enough.

More papal minions joining the ranks of BABYLON THE GREAT. Evil Capitalism must be conquered. Control of the worlds economy, natural resources, wealth, education, means of travel, and government must be handed over to unelected elitist fear mongering self appointed rulers of the world to accomplish the same. Back to the dark ages we must flee in order to survive or we perish. Papal Rome and her religious and political elites must once again rule the world for our own good. Now we continue to see what the papacies real goals and desire has been in the ecumenical movements seeking to unite all "Christendom" and all the rest of the religions of the world together to form a global power base to implement her globalist vision. So be it. Bring it. As soon as you succeed, you will be reintroduced to your maker whom you have rejected in order to usurp His power. You rejected and crucified Him once before to usurp His rightful power and authority, now you will do so again before He returns unto destruction. The global harvests must be ripe for the final global reaping.

Mat 21:33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: 34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. 35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. 36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. 37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. 38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. 39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. 40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? 41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. 42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. 45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

Rev 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 5 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. 17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

This world and it's climate belong to God. God has determined to destroy this world and all within it who will not accept salvation in Christ Jesus our Lord. Papal Rome and her minions of this world will not save themselves by usurping God's authority over all humanity in a bid to find salvation in BABYLON THE GREAT. Rome's agenda to destroy personal liberties and freedoms in regard to free market and the benefits of the industrial revolution, are nothing more than her continued quest to repudiate all that the Protestant Reformation accomplished. The Reformation put the word of God back in the hands of the people, enlightening their minds and paving the way to freedom of thought, conscience, and action. Free market and the industrial revolution were both products of this first most basic freedom being restored to humanity. Of course mistakes have been made, but this is no reason to go back to the chains of slavery under the ever watchful and intrusive eye of BABYLON THE GREAT, and the abusive government she rides.

Open your history books people, and dig through the heaps of revisionist history propagated today, to a real examination of what it was like under the thumb of Rome. Go back and read the writings of the Reformers and understand well why Rome wants us to return to the dark ages by dumbing us down, destroying any middle class, and removing personal liberties and freedom through ever enlarging government control of all.

QuoteIn America, particularly, is this investigation important. In all the countries over which it has triumphed, Popery, like the anaconda, has wound around its folds of art, of cunning, of superstition and of power, until, enclosing everything in its too friendly embraces, it has, with one tremendous effort, crushed the nation to death. It sends forth its missionaries; it gathers its schools and colleges; it erects its cathedrals and builds its churches; it is patriotic, benevolent, charitable. Its alms and offerings attract the vulgar, its austerities and penances convince the sceptical. It is at first tolerated; then approved; next obeyed! But now come the dread realities of the system, taxation, passive submission, excommunications, interdicts, crusades, the inquisition, destruction. Yes, Popery has well nigh destroyed every country in which it has been predominant. The liberties and national prosperity of a people cannot coexist with such a system. (CHRIST AND ANTICHRIST, by Samuel J. Cassels, PART 2 ANTICHRIST OR THE PAPACY PROVED TO BE THE ANTICHRIST PREDICTED IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES, INTRODUCTORY REMARKS, Pgs. 125&126)

Thus does the anomalous character of the Papacy prove it to be the antitype of "the little horn." This power is unlike all others; is uncongenial with all others. It is a usurper, a supplanter. We can readily conceive, how a spiritual power, either associated with the state, or entirely independent of the state, may exist without discord or collision. If the church be entirely distinct from the political institutions of a people, there can of course be no disturbance, as there is no contact. And if a church be established by law, as the operations of the religious and the political systems are kept in distinct spheres, there may be but occasional evils growing out of such union. But for a government that claims its existence jure divino, that sets up a universal empire, that arrogates to itself supremacy in all civil, as well as ecclesiastical matters — for a government that considers itself infallible, and which requires absolute submission in all its subjects — for such a government to exist in the midst of other governments; in its very principles trampling upon their rights and privileges; wielding both a temporal and a spiritual sword; punishing offenders both in this world and the next — for such a government to exist in harmony with other governments, is impossible, absolutely impossible. The papal system can harmonize with no other, whether religious or political. To the religious world, it exhibits one supreme pontiff of Christendom, and requires for him universal obedience. To the political world, it presents one great monarch, whose throne is above every throne, and whose will is law throughout the globe. No the Papacy is a unit, and presents the front of positive hostility to every thing that is not consolidated in itself. It may not be able to carry out its principles and wishes, but this is its nature. It is "diverse from all other governments; it is the adversary of all other governments.(Chapter 3, Pgs. 155&156)

The above video addresses the uncertainty, of those who profess to be so very certain or positive that their climate predictions are unshakable. While the beginning falsely frames the biblical flood scenario, the examination of the history of the climate change fear mongers, is worth the time invested. As is always the case, scientists are so very often so very wrong.

LAUDATO SI'
OF THE HOLY FATHER

ON CARE FOR OUR COMMON HOME
(All emphasis is mine, my comments in blue)

Quote24. Warming has effects on the carbon cycle. It creates a vicious circle which aggravates the situation even more, affecting the availability of essential resources like drinking water, energy and agricultural production in warmer regions, and leading to the extinction of part of the planet's biodiversity. The melting in the polar ice caps and in high altitude plains can lead to the dangerous release of methane gas, while the decomposition of frozen organic material can further increase the emission of carbon dioxide. Things are made worse by the loss of tropical forests which would otherwise help to mitigate climate change. Carbon dioxide pollution increases the acidification of the oceans and compromises the marine food chain. If present trends continue, this century may well witness extraordinary climate change and an unprecedented destruction of ecosystems, with serious consequences for all of us. A rise in the sea level, for example, can create extremely serious situations, if we consider that a quarter of the world's population lives on the coast or nearby, and that the majority of our megacities are situated in coastal areas.

The loss of tropical forest and plant life in general is certainly a concern, being an integral part of planetary function and preservation since creation. Rome, of course has embraced evolutionary science, and has a non biblical view of the situation therefore. It has apparently also decided that the doomsday scientists views of climate change and or global warming, are the correct view, despite quite a bit of scientific opposition and or uncertainty. Therefore as ever, Rome sides with whatever view will recommend and put in place big intrusive government to effect their agenda. She is infamous for being in bed with big government throughout her entire history. She was conceived through big government union or marriage of church and state, and is ever diligent in seeking to reestablish her former power through the resurgence or shall we say a resurrection of the same.

Beneficial climate change or warming cannot be construed to imply or demand a change of governing authorities taking control of such without exposing the greed for power and wealth apparent to such. Therefore the doom and gloom forecasts are accepted and incorporated to the same effect under the guise of protecting humanities interests. Big government always passes off their never ending quest for greater power and wealth as being for everyone's good, the "common good". Fear mongering is much more productive toward such ends, than forecasts of blue skies and prosperity. The mobs protection dues are of course for the good of those they are protecting as well. What is big armed government that wants to disarm arm you and everyone else but themselves, but mobsters backed up by gun toting enforcers? Accordingly of course, the church of Rome does not believe any citizens of any nations should have the right to own and bear arms either. She is the perfect spouse of big government.

I'm not sure why those who accept and promote evolution, are so fearful of change. Isn't change conducive to evolution? How do they know that they will not be preventing advancing evolution by preventing climate change? How do they know that rising temperatures melting huge quantities of fresh water will be more detrimental to society than beneficial? Fresh water is essential to life all over the planet. Should we create a prophetically predicted global beast of a government because coastline cities will have problems from rising oceans? Coastal cities have suffered and been destroyed all throughout history for choosing such locations. Is the answer to such a dilemma huge global intrusive government, or learning not to build cities and towns where natural disaster is likely to eventually occur.

Why have they determined rising temperatures will be more detrimental to society than beneficial? Warmer climates are much more conducive to proliferate plant and animal life than cold climates. Much better to support healthy agriculture as well. Warmer climates in more places therefore, will allow for increased agriculture and therefore food supply for humanity and all life. Why do they choose to dwell upon the possible negatives rather than the possible positives of all such? Is it not to support their greedy political aspirations? Why not seek to make the best of what they deem inevitable without their total control of all concerning such, rather than preventing only one possible contributor to climate change which very likely will prevent nothing in the long run? Climate has and always will be subject to change. We know it has changed drastically in the past without human causation, so why would any think it wont do so again regardless? The answer is simple of course, they choose what will result in greater power and wealth being placed into their own hands.

Many scientists suggest that higher CO2 levels is conducive to a greener planet. Yet the green movement won't go there. Evolutionists now believe there was far greater CO2 in the atmosphere in ages past which supported abundant and huge life forms among plant , animals, and oceanic life. So why all the fear now regarding the same? These finds are of course subject to change as all claims of evolutionists are and so often do. Not long ago I believe they thought O2 levels were much higher previously. Why bring about huge political changes putting more and more power into the hands of fewer and fewer people, none of whom were elected by anyone, based upon the undependable and ever changing observations of so called "scientists"? The answer is obvious. Fear mongering political power grabs by unelected self appointed leaders and institutions are infamous for such dealings all throughout history.

Eccl 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. 10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. 11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

When we forget how the dark ages of united church and state really were, we will bring those ages back. The church of Rome is always ready of course to lend her guiding and helping hand to all such endeavors. She will gladly lead the ignorant and willingly ignorant back under her thumb.

All emphasis in following quoted article from link above is mine.

QuotePope Francis: 'The common good has become global'

Vatican City, May 2, 2019 / 11:01 am (CNA).- Pope Francis called on nations to work toward a global common good Thursday, particularly in confronting climate change, human trafficking, and nuclear threats.

"In the current situation of globalization not only of the economy but also of technological and cultural exchanges, the nation state is no longer able to procure the common good of its population alone," Pope Francis told the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences May 2.

"The common good has become global and nations must associate for their own benefit," Francis said, noting that some nations today have "a spirit of opposition rather than cooperation."

The pope called "building the common good of humanity, a necessary and essential element for the world balance."

"While, according to the principle of subsidiarity, individual nations must be given the power to operate as far as they can, on the other hand, groups of neighboring nations – as is already the case – can strengthen their cooperation by attributing the exercise of certain functions and services to intergovernmental institutions that manage their common interests," he said.

Pope Francis said that when a "supranational common good" is clearly identified, as in the case of climate change or human trafficking, it necessitates a special legal authority capable of facilitating solutions.

He called for new paths of cooperation among nations to achieve peace today when "multilateral nuclear disarmament appears outdated and does not stir the political conscience of nations that possess atomic weapons."

"If, now, not only on earth but in space, there are offensive and defensive nuclear weapons, the so-called new technological frontier, raised and not lowered the danger of a nuclear holocaust," he said.

The pope warned against "nationalism that raises walls" or leads to antisemitism or hatred of others.

The Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences addressed the revival of nationalism at their plenary session May 1-3, "Nation, State, Nation-State."

"The Church observes with concern the re-emergence, almost everywhere in the world, of aggressive currents towards foreigners, especially immigrants, as well as that growing nationalism that neglects the common good," Pope Francis told the professors gathered in Vatican City for the plenary.

However, Pope Francis rejected the idea of "a universalism or generic internationalism that neglects the identity of individual peoples."

"The Church has always urged the love of its people, of their homeland, to respect the treasure of the various cultural expressions, customs and habits and the right ways of living rooted in peoples," he said.

Pope Francis quoted St. Thomas Aquinas' answer to the tenth objection to the ninth question in his Disputed Questions on Spiritual Creatures, noting that he believes St. Thomas has a beautiful idea of what it means to be 'a people': "As the Seine river is not 'this particular river' because of 'this flowing water,' but because of 'this source' and 'this bed,' and hence is always called the same river, although there may be other water flowing down it; likewise a people is the same, not because of a sameness of soul or of men, but because of the same dwelling place, or rather because of the same laws and the same manner of living, as Aristotle says in the third book of the Politics."

Pope Francis went on to talk about the importance of welcoming and integrating migrants.

"It is the task of public authority to protect migrants and to regulate migratory flows with the virtue of prudence, as well as to promote reception so that local populations are trained and encouraged to consciously participate in the integrating process of migrants who are welcomed,"
he said.

"The way in which a nation welcomes migrants reveals its vision of human dignity and its relationship with humanity. Every human person is a member of humanity and has the same dignity," Pope Francis said.

The Pope blames growing antisemitism among nations on nationalism, rather than his own globalist policies which are spreading antisemitic people and sentiment throughout the nations, through the facilitation of antisemitic Muslim mass migration into many nations. He needs to point that finger right back at himself and his globalist minions.

The Pope forgot to mention that the growth of anti-immigration sentiment has been and is a reaction to the forced acceptance of mass migration into nations being imposed by the unelected globalist agenda of he and his other unelected self proclaimed elitist minions. The people of various nations are rejecting this globalist elite authority being rammed down their throats by antichrist and his minions. Now antichrist is telling them and their elected officials, that they must submit to his authority concerning the global redistribution of peoples, natural resources, wealth, and political power. Climate change is of course front and center, and all nations leaders must submit to the Pope and his chosen "scientists", over the wishes of the peoples who they were elected by to serve their interests. The rights of individuals and individual nations must be sacrificed to antichrist and his minions, that the dark ages might be fully established once again on a global scale. It is the duty of every good Catholic of course, to bring about said agenda commanded by their Pope, within the perspective nations in which they live through legislative processes. Babylon is intensifying her efforts to form the final beast of biblical prophecy, that she may ride it to world domination.

Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. 6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

..........................................................................

COMMON GOOD BEFORE INDIVIDUAL GOOD

25. In order to carry out this program we demand: the creation of a strong central authority in the State, the unconditional authority by the political central parliament of the whole State and all its organizations.

The formation of professional committees and of committees representing the several estates of the realm, to ensure that the laws promulgated by the central authority shall be carried out by the federal states.

The leaders of the party undertake to promote the execution of the foregoing points at all costs, if necessary at the sacrifice of their own lives.

OF THE HOLY FATHER

ON CARE FOR OUR COMMON HOME
(All emphasis is mine, my comments in blue)

Quote25. Climate change is a global problem with grave implications: environmental, social, economic, political and for the distribution of goods. It represents one of the principal challenges facing humanity in our day. Its worst impact will probably be felt by developing countries in coming decades. Many of the poor live in areas particularly affected by phenomena related to warming, and their means of subsistence are largely dependent on natural reserves and ecosystemic services such as agriculture, fishing and forestry. They have no other financial activities or resources which can enable them to adapt to climate change or to face natural disasters, and their access to social services and protection is very limited. For example, changes in climate, to which animals and plants cannot adapt, lead them to migrate; this in turn affects the livelihood of the poor, who are then forced to leave their homes, with great uncertainty for their future and that of their children. There has been a tragic rise in the number of migrants seeking to flee from the growing poverty caused by environmental degradation. They are not recognized by international conventions as refugees; they bear the loss of the lives they have left behind, without enjoying any legal protection whatsoever. Sadly, there is widespread indifference to such suffering, which is even now taking place throughout our world. Our lack of response to these tragedies involving our brothers and sisters points to the loss of that sense of responsibility for our fellow men and women upon which all civil society is founded.

All peoples are dependent upon natural reserves and ecosystemic services related to agriculture, fishing, forestry, and livestock. Proper management and cultivation of the same by good government is the key to success. Nations with governments which fail to provide the proper environment for such need to be taught how to implement such and or if need be, be replaced by government that does. Simply shifting the weight of failed government from one nation to another en masse, spreads the effects of failure, crippling if not eventually just spreading said failure. Self appointed unelected globalist leaders shifting such responsibility upon unwilling prosperous nations against the will of the people of said nations through the manipulation of their elected politicians is a sin against humanity and God. All self appointed egotistical and arrogant leaders who do and might continue to succeed in such diabolical manipulations are just so much kindling for the lake of fire. They will form the final global beast of biblical prophecy, and bring untold suffering and ruin upon humanity while they live as always off of, and upon the backs of the same.

The papacies incessant attacks upon the Constitutional government for and by the people, and Capitalism and or free market espoused by the United States, is a direct attack upon successful and prosperous government for and by the people. Our Constitutional government produced a huge middle class of free, educated, and prosperous people. Such people need no self appointed unelected officials lording themselves over them because they are to ignorant or incapable of providing for themselves in such a manner that they have had an abundance to allow them to already share more with the world over than any other nation on earth. Nor do they need the papacy forcing the burden of millions of their own people, from their own failed nations and governments, upon us without our consent  through the manipulation of our politicians and political processes to their own twisted and destructive ends.

This back stabbing institution joined hands with and used our government, wealth, and influence to help them topple communist control over many of their own people in various nations. Having done such they have now turned and present a full force attack upon us with the open aid of communists and socialists. Both political systems being historically and infamously associated with major abuses upon humanity, and repeated economic failures. Both being conducive to the two class society which the papacy prefers to self governing peoples with a strong, free, educated, armed, and empowered middle class that has no need to submit to her usurping form of huge elitist government. Governments whom she historically has hopped in bed with that she and her illicit and numerous spouses may live upon the backs of the people. No thank you.

QuotePope Francis compares "Populists" to Hitler, calls for open doors to all migrants

So-called "populist" groups have arisen in response to the hijrah and the subsequent descent of Europe into chaos. In comments that would suggest the Pope has taken leave of his sanity:

Pope Francis adopted his toughest stance ever against populism...comparing populists to Adolf Hitler and suggesting that populism caused the Second World War.

It is abhorrent that Pope Francis would compare those who are trying to save Judeo-Christian civilization in the face of the hijrah to Hitler. Another point to ponder is the rise of Islamic anti-Semitism in Europe. It is now so bad in France that Ricard Abitbol, President of the Confederation of Jews in France and Friends of Israel, stated:

Every day we have people who are hurt, every day we have people who are insulted," told RT. "We can be hurt by words, but we don't mind, but when we are hurt by a knife, a gun, you can't say I don't mind.

He went on:

In a few decades, there will be no Jews in France.

Even the globalist, open-door supporting Angela Merkel commented about Germany:

We now have another phenomenon, as we have refugees or people of Arab origin who bring another form of anti-Semitism into the country

The Pope needs a memory juggle. Europe welcomed migrants with open arms, ie. until it was struck with a range of imported problems, from lawlessness and abuse to an infiltration of jihadists. In response, "populist" groups arose to warn about such dangers and advocate for a defense of borders and national security.

The Pope continued that all "must be welcomed with an open heart and open doors. Closure is the path to suicide."

On the contrary, open doors is a path to suicide. The Pope has yet to open his doors at the Vatican to everyone. Pope Francis has now risen up against the "populist" Italian government, spreading deceit and stirring up tensions, all while demonstrating his lack compassion and sensitivity for the victims of jihad terror and Sharia abuses, not to mention Islamic anti-Semitism and the vast Muslim persecution of Christians. It is a dark time indeed for the Catholic Church under such leadership, which (on a separate issue) has also been covering up abuses against children in the Church.

"Pope Francis Compares Populists to Hitler, Born of 'Hate'", by Thomas D. Williams, Breitbart , October 25, 2018:

Pope Francis adopted his toughest stance ever against populism Tuesday, comparing populists to Adolf Hitler and suggesting that populism caused the Second World War.

"It is important for young people to know how populism is born," the pope said Tuesday at a book launch in Rome. "I think of Hitler in the last century, who had promised development for Germany. They should know how populisms begin: by sowing hate. You can't live sowing hate."

The pontiff's words struck hard in a country living under its first elected populist government in decades, formed by a coalition between the progressive, Eurosceptic 5-Star Movement and the pro-sovereignty Lega party.

"Study your history, this is the way the Führer started, with racial purity," he said. We are now in full World War III fought piecemeal and even religion is deformed to be able to hate better."

"Making hatred grow, creating violence and division represents a path to destruction and suicide," the 81-year-old pontiff added.

Increased efforts are needed to teach the young about the history of the First and Second World Wars "so they do not fall into the same error and so they know how populism spreads," he said.

The Pope's comments came in response to 83-year-old Fiorella Bacherini, an Italian teacher who works with immigrants, who told him that she was concerned about a rise in anti-immigrant sentiment.

Migrants, the pope said, "must be welcomed with an open heart and open doors. Closure is the path to suicide. It is true that migrants must be welcomed, but they must also be accompanied and above all they must be integrated."

"A government must have an open heart to receive and good structures to assist integration, and also the prudence to say: I can do it up to this point, but no further," he said.

Accepting migrants, Francis added, "is a biblical mandate. We think of Europe that has been made by migrants, by cultures mixing together."

Tuesday's comments represent the pope's strongest condemnation of populism to date, although his anti-populist message had already been growing more radical......

The Pope forgot to mention of course, that a previous Pope and the Vatican were the first political entity to sign an accord with Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party thereby supporting the same, and encouraging all good Catholics to do so as well by way of example.

Quote26. Many of those who possess more resources and economic or political power seem mostly to be concerned with masking the problems or concealing their symptoms, simply making efforts to reduce some of the negative impacts of climate change. However, many of these symptoms indicate that such effects will continue to worsen if we continue with current models of production and consumption. There is an urgent need to develop policies so that, in the next few years, the emission of carbon dioxide and other highly polluting gases can be drastically reduced, for example, substituting for fossil fuels and developing sources of renewable energy. Worldwide there is minimal access to clean and renewable energy. There is still a need to develop adequate storage technologies. Some countries have made considerable progress, although it is far from constituting a significant proportion. Investments have also been made in means of production and transportation which consume less energy and require fewer raw materials, as well as in methods of construction and renovating buildings which improve their energy efficiency. But these good practices are still far from widespread.

Gee, all of the above sounds so familiar, where have we heard these suggestions before? Yes, AOC and her Green New Deal are just another Catholic politician seeking to implement the Vatican's social agenda through legislation in her own country, as all Catholic politicians and citizens have been commanded by the Pope of Rome. She may be a lefty progressive, but she is a Roman Catholic first, and she received her marching orders directly from Rome, regardless of what ever else she may claim or people have been told.

It does not matter if you are far left, center left, center, center right, or far right. If you are Catholic your leadership fully expects you to attempt to establish those points upon which your position aligns with her own social doctrines, through the legislative processes of your nation. Therefore is it so crucial that a large number of Catholic politicians inhabit government, and a large number of citizens, or legal, or illegal immigrants with voting rights inhabit nations as well. Therefore also obviously does Rome continuously defend even illegal immigration to the same end.

While Mr. Trump appears to be combatting some of this, he is also busy helping implement much of the same. He put two more Catholic and even likely Jesuits in the Supreme Court, bringing the number of Catholics in it back up to six out of nine. He put Catholic William Barr in as AG who leans towards Rome's anti-gun owner stance, as well as Chuck Canterbury as ATF leader who does as well. He also recommended Nancy Pelosi for house speaker again, keeping a Catholic speaker of the house in place now for seven consecutive terms. This country desperately needs a third party to try and stave off the ever increasing influence of the Vatican upon its politics.

Your conspiracy theories sound suspiciously like the SDA methods which send in the right hand of the Gospel - the 'health message' and your ADRA teams to soften up the unsuspecting victims of SDA evangelism.

Then AM0 they fail to tell their targets that SDA hospitals are a most unhealthy place for the unborn -where they perform elective abortions.....

These boards are filled with the evidence you either choose to ignore or simply reject. They are filled with non SDA accounts of what Rome, her Popes, and the rest of the world are saying and exposing in Encyclicals and numerous and continuous articles.

Why change the subject? There is plenty here for you to address and expose as conspiracy theory if it actually is. Start another thread about your above accusations and I will gladly address them. Nor will I deny any wrong doing to defend my or any other denomination. You already know this. I already know my denomination is involved in wrong things. It is headed the same direction as all others, Romeward bound. Use your diversionary tactics on someone else. I care little for them. Start threads about your above accusations and we will address them, or just hit and run as you usually do.

Is this about blaming Rome for everything?
