Schwab uses global warming fears and the plight of the world's poor to justify what is in effect a plan for global totalitarianism where, as the Davos website puts it, nobody will own anything. What is not well-known is the fact that the inspiration for Schwab's dystopian plans comes from a Catholic bishop whom he met in Brazil in the 1970's. That bishop links Schwab's vast globalist network with the powerful political influence of the present Pope Francis.

Far from a traditional Catholic priest, this bishop was known as the "Red Bishop" and endorsed Castro's Cuba model, as well as the Mao Cultural Revolution in which millions of Chinese were killed or destroyed in a purge of the enemies of Mao. His name was Archbishop Dom Helder Camara of Brazil, the leading early figure spreading the Church movement known as "Liberation Theology" during the 1960s and 1970s.

From Nazi to Communist?

Helder Camara made a transition from the two extremes of the political spectrum. In 1934 Camara was a leading figure in a pro-Mussolini Brazilian clerical fascist movement, Brazilian Integralist Action or Acao Integralista Brasileira (AIB). It was no casual involvement. As a young Catholic Priest Father Camara became part of the Supreme Council of the AIB. By 1936 Camara had become personal secretary of AIB founder, Plinio Salgado, and National Secretary of the AIB. Similar to Mussolini's fascist Blackshirts or Hitler's Brownshirts in the 1920s, Brazil's AIB were the Greenshirts, fielding paramilitary groups who actively and violently attacked communists on the streets during the 1930s in Brazil. When Camara was ordained a priest in the early 1930s he reportedly wore the Greenshirt under his cassock. Later when a Brazilian author wrote a biography of Camara, by then a Bishop, Helder Camara and the Church intervened to prohibit mention of the now famous leftist as an earlier pro-fascist activist, one of the many curious parts of Camara's history.

By the end of the war, in 1946, Helder Camara had somehow managed to transition from the pro-Mussolini and pro-Hitler fascism of the AIB to a pro-Marxist "progressivism" as Assistant General of the Brazilian Catholic Action, whose youth group, JUC, openly embraced the Castro Cuban Revolution in 1959. In 1963 a faction of the JUC with whom Camara was supportive, the Ação Popular (AP), defined itself as socialist and declared their support for the "socialization of the means of production." The Catholic group AP adopted statutes which contained praise for the Soviet Revolution and a recognition of "the crucial importance of Marxism in revolutionary theory and praxis." Dom Helder became Archbishop of Olinda and Recife in the Northeast of Brazil from 1964 to 1985.

A Founder of Liberation Theology

Helder Camara was an instrumental figure in a movement that soon spread worldwide not only in the Catholic Church but among other churches as well. It was later called Liberation Theology by the Peruvian priest Gustavo Gutierrez. The "liberation" referred to what the priests claimed was the message of Christianity that, "God loves the poor preferentially." The movement claimed that the role of the Church should be committed to the process of liberation in the oppressed and exploited land in the Third World. The movement marked a radical shift in the position of the Catholic Church. Priests began to legitimize violence against dictators such as Nicaragua's Somoza, even as a number of them took arms and joined the Sandinistas and other Marxist groups in the 1970s.


Gustavo Gutierrez explicitly called "to abolish the current unjust situation and to build a different society, freer and more human." To put it mildly, this was a radical departure in which the Church was to focus on liberating the poorest of society in the developing world by force if necessary and redistribute the wealth. Communist-backed guerilla movements in predominately Catholic countries were quick to see the usefulness of priests giving their wars a social legitimacy beyond Marxist doctrine. Gutierrez said, "The theology of liberation is rooted in a revolutionary militancy."

A fellow Brazilian advocate of Helder Camara's social activism for the Church, Father Leonardo Boff, stated, "What we propose is Marxism, historical materialism, in theology." Boff and others have since moved from advocating radical land reform, taking land from large owners and giving it to poor peasants, to backing radical global warming agendas as part of their liberation agenda. The movement has since spread from Latin America to Africa and Asia, from Zimbabwe to Sri Lanka.

In essence, Helder Camara's Liberation Theology created the social climate and fostered the spread through society for the "victim" ideology of today's widespread movements from ANTIFA to BLM and the entire Green Agenda movement.

Red Bishop Meets Schwab

In recent public statements Klaus Schwab, founder of the Davos World Economic Forum a half century ago, cited two men who he said changed his life. One was Henry Kissinger who was his mentor when Schwab was at Harvard in the late 1960s. The other, surprisingly, was the Red Bishop, Dom Helder Camara. It was Kissinger who as Nixon Secretary of State plotted to assassinate left-leaning governments in Chile, Argentina and elsewhere, replacing them with brutal military dictatorships such as Pinochet, while Helder Camara was working the opposite end, mobilizing the poor against the state.

In 2010 Schwab's World Economic Forum published a self-congratulating book modestly titled, "The World Economic Forum: A Partner in Shaping History–The First 40 Years 1971 – 2010." There Schwab describes the central role Kissinger played from the first in selecting speakers and guests for Schwab's elite business gatherings.

For the year 1974 Schwab wrote, "At the 1974 European Management Symposium (today WEF), Dom Hélder Câmara, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Olinda and Recife, Brazil, made a notable appearance, bolstering the Forum's role as a platform for provocative yet vital voices. Câmara had been invited to Davos despite the fact that he was considered persona non grata by many governments and business leaders. He had dubbed himself "the spokesperson of those two-thirds of humanity who suffer from the unfair distribution of nature's resources." Schwab's account continued, "Dom Hélder predicted that developing countries could some day challenge and clash with the leading economic powers. He criticized multinationals for keeping so much of mankind in appalling conditions. He called for a higher social responsibility, fairer wealth distribution and a reassessment of "the false values of a 'waste society'" to achieve prosperity for all people." Schwab in a video stated, "one example which for me was probably a crucial moment in my life. I traveled for the first time to Brazil, I met a priest who was known at that time as the priest of the poor people, his name was Dom Hélder Câmara."

WEF and Pope Francis

In a 2013 visit to Brazil early in his papacy, Francis named Dom Helder Camara as someone who indelibly marked the "journey of the Church in Brazil." In his Evangelii gaudium (The Joy of the Gospel) the same year, Francis declared in language of the Liberation Theology of Helder Camara and others, "Without the preferential option for the poor, the proclamation of the Gospel ... risks being misunderstood or submerged." The term "preferential option for the poor" is key. It sounds noble but what in reality does it mean?

Notably, in 2014 Klaus Schwab extended a personal invitation to Pope Francis to address the Davos meeting. Francis has since written numerous such letters to Schwab and is listed by the World Economic Forum as an Agenda Contributor. In October 2020, the official website of the Davos WEF wrote, "In a striking, 43,000-word-long encyclical published last Sunday, the pope put his stamp on efforts to shape what's been termed a Great Reset of the global economy in response to the devastation of COVID-19."

By 2015 Francis, who himself poses as the special guardian of the poor, had given his sanction to initiating the official process, by the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, to begin a process of Helder Camara's "beatification." Since then the present Pope has taken unprecedented political stands for Global Warming Green Agenda measures, vaccines against covid, support for gender equality, migration, wealth redistribution from rich to poor, and other social actions which have dominated his controversial papacy.

Great Reset

The relevant question to be asked is why the founder of the world's most influential corporate globalization forum, Klaus Schwab, would embrace the founder of the Liberation Theology and the current liberal Pope Francis, the first-ever Jesuit Pope who slyly revives those ideas today?


It's definitely not that Klaus Schwab is embracing Marxism. Schwab is the "Godfather of Globalization." The fusion of the ideologies of Francis and Schwab is a clever way of creating mass support, especially among younger and poorer people round the world for the wholesale attack on private property and on a stable middle-class required for the global corporatist Great Reset, a global technocratic fascism from above.

In November 2020, Pope Francis declared that a new "social justice" is needed, and that private ownership is not something obvious in Christianity: "Let us build the new social justice and admit that the Christian tradition has never recognized the right to private property as absolute and immovable," said Francis. He does not elaborate.

In October, 2020 the pope issued an encyclical letter, Fratelli Tutti, in which he went after private property. He wrote, "Business abilities, which are a gift from God, should always be clearly directed to the development of others and to the elimination of poverty..." He declared, "The right to private property is always accompanied by the primary and prior principle of the subordination of all private property to the universal destination of the earth´s goods, and thus the right of all to their use."


This is remarkably similar to what Schwab of the WEF writes in his 2020 book, The Great Reset, where he states, "First and foremost, the post-pandemic era will usher in a period of massive wealth redistribution, from the rich to the poor and from capital to labour." Schwab claims that the era of free market neoliberalism is over and major Government intervention is needed to enact "sustainable" environmental policies.

On the WEF website Schwab's organization described their vision of the reset to a world where no one owns anything. A video declares of their vision of the world in 2030, "You will own nothing and you will be happy," adding that "Whatever you need, you will rent." It would even include renting your clothes! Schwab states that this radical redistribution of property rights globally will be necessary to attain "ecological justice." This echoes Francis' call for a "green financial agenda" to replace the current financial system.

The Davos embrace of the Vatican agenda is far more sinister than it might seem. Their Great Reset is about the end to human liberty or freedom in favor of a new globalist agenda of total control, high-tech surveillance, mandated medications and massive income redistribution from the middle class of society down. Schwab is nothing if not a master of marketing, and his dystopian Great Reset and its "ecological justice" is just that.

Launch of Laudato Si' Platform, COP26, fossil fuel divestment were big developments in busy year

Pope Francis invited Catholics — and anyone else interested — to join a seven-year journey to widen the reach of his 2015 encyclical on the environment in a time of global climate change.

Known as the Laudato Si' Action Platform, the effort formally launched Nov. 14 in dioceses around the world.

The invitation came as communities globally experienced extreme heat and drought, massive flooding, intense and long-burning wildfires, rising sea levels and failed crops in 2021.

The pope introduced the platform in a video May 25, encouraging people to join the global grassroots movement to create a more inclusive, fraternal, peaceful and sustainable world.

Coordinated through the Dicastery for Integral Human Development, the platform is a "journey that will see our communities committed in different ways to becoming totally sustainable, in the spirit of integral ecology," the pope said.

He called for a "new ecological approach that can transform our way of dwelling in the world, our lifestyles, our relationship with the resources of the earth and, in general, our way of looking at humanity and of living life."

The initiative invited dioceses, parishes and individuals to build an integrated global effort to protect creation for future generations. The Vatican platform is meant to help those who want to increase their commitment to bringing the encyclical, "Laudato Si', on Care for Our Common Home," to life by committing through 2028 to carry out a set of actions they developed based on local needs.

In the United States, 17 dioceses and 58 parishes had committed to participating in the platform at its kickoff. More were expected to join, said Jose Aguto, executive director of the Washington-based Catholic Climate Covenant.

The platform calls for integrating actions across different sectors, such as universities, parishes, dioceses, religious orders, community organizations, neighborhoods, businesses and health care institutions.

"The covenant, we're really excited about the U.S. participation in the Laudato Si' Action Platform so far. We look forward to the seven-year journey as a big step," Aguto said Dec. 1.

The effort surrounding the platform began as the two-week 26th U.N. Climate Change Conference closed in Glasgow, Scotland. Representatives of more than 200 nations came together Oct. 31-Nov. 13 with the goal of agreeing to cut global carbon emissions by half by 2030 as part of efforts to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

COP26, as the conference was known, was delayed a year because of the pandemic.

A Vatican delegation and several Catholic organizations and parishes were present throughout COP26. Vatican representatives joined high-level talks, while Catholics from other groups participated in sideline events.

Vatican representatives in a video message urged the conference to deliver on financing from wealthier countries to help poorer countries respond to climate change and to take urgent action to comply with the standards of the Paris Agreement.

The final agreement, however, fell short of those goals, disappointing Catholic environmental and development advocates. Action to limit temperature increases was pushed into 2022 and wealthier nations failed to deliver on needed climate finance to help poor countries respond and adapt to climate change.

Although promises and practical action fell short in the final agreement, "we are on the road from which there is no turning back," said Christine Allen, director of CAFOD, the Catholic international development agency in England and Wales, which joined the Vatican delegation in Scotland.

"The level of realization from right across the world that we need to act and act with urgency absolutely took place," Allen said.

Chloe Noel, the coordinator of the Faith Economy Ecology Project at the Washington-based Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns, who joined the conference sideline activities online, told CNS Dec. 2 that while delegates from major fossil fuel-using countries began discussing reduction in such consumption, "there's not a clear plan about how that will be done and by when that will be done."

"We need more ambition to keep the temperature rise to even 2 degrees Celsius let alone to what the temperature really needs to be, which is 1.5 degrees Celsius," Noel said.

She also called for a more expansive financial commitment by the world's richest nations to help developing countries already feeling the negative effects of climate change.

"We will continue, as the climate movement, as the faith community, to push the U.S. government to address loss and damage at COP27," Noel said.

COP27 will convene in Egypt in November 2022.

In other events, the Catholic Climate Covenant teamed with Creighton University in July to convene the second of three planned biennial "Laudato Si' and the U.S. Catholic Church" conferences. More than 2,700 participants joined a series of online programs to learn how to bring the encyclical's teaching on climate change more widely into the life of the church.

"We're continuing to grow the Catholic community (that is) concerned about climate. "We're seeing steady increases in the number of Catholics being interested," Aguto told Catholic News Service.

"But we need to elevate our voices more. The science is becoming more significant and the divisions in our country are becoming more stark. We have to speak first of love of God and love of neighbor. We have to create a space for dialogue," he added.

A global campaign to divest from fossil fuels continued to gain adherents in the fall, with 72 institutions — 36 of them Catholic — announcing days ahead of COP26 that they will withdraw investments from carbon-based energy corporations. The institutions hold assets of $4.2 billion.

Salesian Fr. Joshtrom Kureethadam, coordinator of Ecology and Creation at the Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, welcomed the announcement during an Oct. 26 video conference organized by leading divestment proponents.

The Vatican and Pope Francis have become increasingly vocal about shifting investment funds from fossil fuels toward clean energy alternatives. In 2020, as part of the Laudato Si' Year, the Vatican released guidelines for Catholics to implement integral ecology and other actions outlined in the pope's encyclical.

"In very strong language, divestment was recommended," Father Kureethadam told the online conference. "Last year we announced the Laudato Si' Action Platform. Among the Laudato Si' goals there's ecological economics and it mentioned the need to divest. So the Vatican is supporting this journey."

The priest called the task of reducing the use of highly polluting fossil fuels a "huge challenge" but one that was possible. A large majority of climate scientists have concluded that the burning of fossil fuels as a leading cause of climate change.

Changes were afoot during the year in two leading Catholic environmental groups.

The Catholic Climate Covenant announced in September that Aguto would be its new executive director, succeeding Dan Misleh, who moved into the role of founder. Misleh helped establish the organization in 2006 and continues to play a leading role in its work in the United States.

In addition, the Global Catholic Climate Movement became known as the Laudato Si' Movement in July.

Movement leaders said the change better reflects the work of the six-year-old worldwide network and its connection to prayerful action on environmental protection and climate change.

The new name easily translates into other languages as well because it incorporates the Franciscan phrase Laudato Si', which is Italian for "praise be to you," Lorna Gold of Ireland, who chairs the organization's board of directors, said at the time.

And yet, few if any news media around the world will connect the actions of Catholic Joe Biden against oil independents for our nation, with the Vatican or Catholic church. Nor will they do so concerning the chaos now ensuing regarding oil between Russia and Ukraine, causing oil prices to drastically rise already becoming out of reach for many people. As with everything else it seems of late, all the crisis in the world just happen to be pushing it exactly where the church of Rome, BABYLON THE GERAT intends humanity to go. Those who think this world is their stage, are competing with God whose world this is. It will not end well for them.

When I first thought of writing this article, my original idea was to accuse Zimbabwe state-controlled media of spewing shameless propaganda - which not only sought to sow seeds of hatred and division in the nation, but also posed a grave danger to national peace and security.

Indeed, the fact that these disgraceful lies and unpardonable vitriol are a reckless experiment - which pits the people of Zimbabwe against each other, with the real potential of igniting civil conflict - is undeniable.

Nevertheless, to call the horrific and insufferable rubbish we are daily bombarded with by state-controlled media, "propaganda", is in itself a gross injustice and insult to the word.

As much as today, the term "propaganda" is most often used in reference to political statements, but the word comes through its use in a religious context.

The Congregatio de propaganda fide ("Congregation for propagating the faith") was an organization established in 1622 by Pope Gregory XV as a means of furthering Catholic missionary activity.

The word "propaganda" is from the ablative singular feminine of "propogandus" - which is the gerundive of the Latin "propagare", meaning "to propagate."

The first use of the word "propaganda" (without the rest of the Latin title) in English was in reference to this Catholic organization.

It was not until the beginning of the 19th century that it began to be used as a term denoting ideas or information that are of questionable accuracy as a means of advancing a cause.


Nonetheless, the basic definition of "propaganda" is a concerted set of messages aimed at influencing the opinions or behavior of large numbers of people.

As such, strictly speaking, every media outlet on the face of the planet is in the business of spreading propaganda.

Whether these are aimed at informing, or misinforming, or disinforming - all this can be defined as propaganda, as long as the objective is to influence the opinions and behavior of large numbers of people.

We have all encountered this in our lives - as long as we have read, listened to, or watched, any media - most recent incidents being the global awareness on the COVID-19 pandemic (and, the subsequent highly controversial vaccine campaign), as well as the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

However, a common denominator with any form of propaganda is the science and art of how it is packaged and presented.

Yes, it is a most complicated and complex art and science - which involves a deep understanding of how the human mind functions, societal norms, as well as our experiences, education, environment and even genetics - as these form our beliefs and attitudes.

In turn, these beliefs influence our behaviour, and determine our actions - consequently, those widely accepted beliefs become part of our culture and, in many ways, shape the society we live in.

To achieve this, obviously this demands the employment of sophisticated and complex mechanisms - most usually, psychological tools, that seek to capture the core of the human mind.

One of the most commonly employed psychological methods is to ensure that messages transmitted are shaped to bypass or manipulate the frontal lobe - which is responsible for higher cognitive functions, such as decision making, memory, emotions, impulse control, problem solving, social interaction, and motor function.

That is why most people who are influenced by propaganda appear not to thoroughly question or dispute whatever they are fed, as such an ability would have been skillfully skipped.

Experts in the field of propaganda may also play on the emotions of people (also controlled by the frontal lobe) - for instance, spreading the fear of death and dying due to a pandemic, so that these terrified people become desperate for a solution, thereby readily accepting any such panacea offered.

Furthermore, as the frontal lobe plays a critical role in social interaction - it becomes much easier to manipulate the population by use of social conformity, in order to play upon their desire to be part of the group, and fear of being different or perceived as the "odd one out".

Nonetheless, there is one fundamental element for the achievement of propaganda goals - BELIEVABILITY!

There is absolutely no point in embarking on a path of propaganda if the message is not to be believed, or can not be believed, or simply unbelievable.

That is why, for instance, in trying to convince the majority of the world's population to take the COVID-19 vaccine, and even to encourage some measure of mandatory vaccinations - there was need to incorporate renowned and well-respected scientists to buttress the assertion that the only "scientifically proven" and available means to curbing this pandemic was via these jabs.

As already the frontal lobe would have been manipulated through the instilling of the fear of death and dying - even when these supposedly "credible" scientists do not proffer a shred of verifiable and indisputable evidence to this effect, except a bunch statistics that are meant to show that after administering vaccines within a particular community, there was a marked decrease in severe illness and deaths, as well as those largely detected with COVID-19 being the unvaccinated.

Nevermind that data and statistics can never be used a conclusive determinant of anything - and, can be interpreted in any number of ways, as a myriad of other factors can be considered.

Which is why you may ask a person - "what is really meant when a vaccine is said to have an efficacy of 75%" - and, despite believing that taking the jab will protect them from infection, they still can not articulately explain.

Or, when a purported anti-bacterial soap or detergent is claimed to kill 99.99% of germs - what exactly does that mean?

However, this has seldom hindered the process of propaganda - since, the basic tools of ensuring that a significant portion of people are convinced of a certain belief, would have been meticulously and skillfully used.

That, then, brings me back to our own Zimbabwe.

What we notice in state-controlled media can never be classified as propaganda - due to the glaring absence of anything that resembles the tools mentioned above.

Let us look at the most recent allegations that the past weekend's violent and barbaric attack on Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) supporters in the city of Kwekwe - whilst being addressed, at a rally, by their leader Nelson Chamisa, at the hands of suspected ruling ZANU PF thugs, resulting in one person being killed - was all stage-managed and faked by the opposition party.

In sprite of the clear non-existence of any form of evidence, or attempts at employing proven scientific propaganda tools that seek to influence the manner in which the Zimbabwean citizenry thinks, believes, and behaves - the claims were nothing more than outrageous and laughable, only managing to portray the ones peddling these falsehoods as clowns at best, and fools at worst.

This would be the same as, if I were to appear on television, adamantly insisting to be a white person, and accusing my enemies of spreading misinformation about my being actually black - whilst at the same time blaming the station of working in cahoots with those enemies in changing my appearance on television, in order to appear black!

Who would appear the big idiot in this instance - considering that viewers would already know me as being black, and no shred of evidence available to explain how these "enemies", with the collusion of the television station, managed to change my skin colour to appear black, if truly I had been white?

What we have witnessed in Zimbabwe, especially at the behest of the ruling establishment, has been pure madness of the highest degree.

No one in their right mind can ever believe the nonsense that is spewed in our state-controlled media - on account of the utter lack of substance, intellect, and even the necessary science and art behind normal propaganda.

We all know that Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels was famed for saying, "repeat a lie often enough and it becomes truth"!

Well, that was nearly a hundred years ago, when the flow of information was severely restricted, without the plethora of media and communication tools present today - and, I am sure he did not, by any stretch of the imagination, mean foolish unintelligent brazen lies, as have been insulted upon our intelligence by Zimbabwe's ruling elite.

Surely, no matter how often the people who know me are told that I am white - they will never, at any time, come to believe that, maybe just maybe, he is indeed white.

Similarly, regardless the number of times Zimbabweans are repeatedly told that the brutal and heinous attack on CCC supporters on Sunday, February 27, 2022, was stage-managed by the opposition party itself - with even some of their own agreeing to be beaten up and killed - no one will ever buy such a lurid story.

Anyone who does, deserves a one way ticket to the loony bin!

This is the annual "comprehensive scientific assessment" of the situation of global climate change. The remarks made by António Guterres on the IPCC Report were the pinnacle of climate hysteria, scare tactics, threats, and manipulation.

The main points given by UN Secretary-General António Guterres were as follows:

"Today's IPCC report is an atlas of human suffering and a damning indictment of failed climate leadership.

Many ecosystems are at the point of no return – now.

Unchecked carbon pollution is forcing the world's most vulnerable on a frog march to destruction– now.

This abdication of leadership is criminal.

The world's biggest polluters are guilty of arson of our only home.

Science tells us that it will require the world to cut emissions by 45 percent by 2030 and achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

But according to current commitments, global emissions are set to increase almost 14 per cent over the current decade.

That spells catastrophe.

It will destroy any chance of keeping 1.5 alive.

Today's report underscores two core truths.

First, coal and other fossil fuels are choking humanity.

All G20 governments have agreed to stop funding coal abroad. They must now urgently do the same at home and dismantle their coal fleets.

Those in the private sector still financing coal must be held to account.

Oil and gas giants – and their underwriters – are also on notice.

You cannot claim to be green while your plans and projects undermine the 2050 net-zero target
and ignore the major emissions cuts that must occur this decade.

People see through this smokescreen.

And every country must honor the Glasgow pledge to strengthen national climate plans every year until they are aligned with 1.5C.

The G20 must lead the way, or humanity will pay an even more tragic price.

Now is the time to turn rage into action.

Every fraction of a degree matters.

Every voice can make a difference.

This is the voice of the dragon speaking. Many men everywhere today promote the idea of a climate apocalypse and the end of the world scenario because we power our homes and vehicles with carbon-based energy. This contradicts God's word. The end of the world will not be brought about by man. This indoctrination is based on a humanistic approach rather than a biblical perspective. This is something that the Bible expresses clearly.

"For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old." 2 Peter 2:5.

How did this universe come into being? How did this world we inhabit come into existence? By His word. According to the Bible, our civilization is ignorant that God created the heavens and the earth through His word.

"By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth ... For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast." Psalm 33:6, 9.

If God spoke and the earth appeared, then that was a miracle. It was a miraculous demonstration of the creative power of God. But, guess what? The supernatural power of God is also preserving the earth today.

"For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old ... the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men." 2 Peter 3:5, 7.

God's judgment will not come because we consume coal, oil, and natural gas. Judgment is coming to our planet because of the godless men and the ungodly agenda of the United Nations that is calling for greater access to abortion for women and girls, LGBT+ equality, feminism, and Catholic social doctrine. Our world is being preserved by God for the Day of Judgment because of sin, tyranny, war and wickedness. We are being judged as a society (Revelation 14:7). We have a destiny with God, and there is no escape.

This suggests that Armageddon will not occur, at least not in the sense that man imagines. The planet is being preserved by God's power in preparation for the day when we will have to give an account of our lives before Him. The earth is not being preserved by the United Nations. It's not the government of Joe Biden. The World Economic Forum isn't going to save us. They are not going to preserve this planet because they are incapable of doing it.

"It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." Lamentation 3:22, 23.

The only reason why we still have a world to wake up to every morning is because of God's miraculous working power, especially when you consider the people in authority today. Our mission is to preach the everlasting gospel of Christ in conjunction with the Three Angels' Message in order to prepare people for the judgment hour.

Socialist revolutionaries in our world today are creating different crises and existential threats in order to bypass our representative system of government and our Constitution and impose a "progressive" Marxist vision on the United States and the rest of society. These godless policies are aligned with the Papal New World Order and are bringing us closer every day to the mark of the beast. If you speak against their agenda, you will be censored. If you challenge their popular and globalist narrative, you will be canceled. If you question the "science" of climate change, you will be called a "science" denier.

There is nothing wrong with promoting policies that will give us clean air and water. But this doomsday rhetoric and panic that we hear today is being employed to bring about an unprecedented transformation of our world through communist-style coercion, threats, and authoritarian tactics. Tragically, the climate change movement has become a big power grab for political and religious globalists, and prophecy says that they will utilize this power for evil rather than good.

We don't need the progressive liberal agenda of the United Nations. We don't need apostate Protestantism or Romanism. We need Christ and His gospel. We need the superiority of the word of God because this alone can repair the terrible evils that exist in our world today. This world will pass away, but those who embrace the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ (Revelation 14:6-12) will stand with Him on the sea of glass in the Kingdom of Heaven (Revelation 15:2).

For those not aware, UN globalist Secretary-General António Guterres is a Roman Catholic. As is obvious his agenda is directly in line with Papal Encyclical Laudato Si'. He is a globalist papal puppet like Biden, Pelosi, Trudeau, Macron, AOC, and many others.

Are you kidding? Did anyone ask these other Catholic appointees if they could fairly judge a Protestant? This is his concern. Why? How ignorant is this man, concerning who is already on our Supreme Court? What, does he want 8 out of nine of them to be Catholic? So much for diversity.

What a sad statement as well, that this woman who cannot even tell us what a woman is, is supposedly Protestant. Her lefty progressive views have nothing to do with Sola Scriptura. The world is already doing this. All the current news, trends, and world events indicate that we are headed in this direction. The invitation, for now, is voluntary. Soon, very soon, it will be forced upon us during the mark of the beast crisis. According to the new dictate, "this final rule bans the business of manufacturing the most accessible ghost guns, such as unserialized 'buy build shoot' kits that individuals can buy online or at a store without a background check and can readily assemble into a working firearm in as little as 30 minutes with equipment they have at home."

The rule also dictates that gun stores can no longer destroy their records after 20 years. These stores must turn over lists to the ATF of every gun purchased at their store so the ATF can maintain a running database of American gun owners.

"Second, the final rule requires federally licensed firearms dealers to retain key records until they shut down their business or licensed activity. At that time, these dealers must transfer the records to ATF, just as they are currently required to do at the end of licensed activity. Previously, these dealers were permitted to destroy most records after 20 years, making it harder for law enforcement to trace firearms found at crime scenes."

It is unclear how this administration will treat the millions of gun owners who currently have these custom firearms in their homes. It is indeed likely that this dictate could turn millions of gun owners into felons overnight as there is no way to prove when a custom build was purchased, which means their previously legal guns could now be deemed illegal.

TFTP has been predicting these attacks easily as Biden has been promising them for years. Since before he was elected, Biden has promised more gun control, and he is doing everything in his power to keep this one promise — up to and including executive action — specifically targeting 3D printing of guns. Or, as Biden refers to them, Ghost Guns.

The term "ghost gun" is meant to incite fear and is used by the anti-gun crowd as a slogan to sway the ignorant away from the fact that law-abiding citizens often customize their legal weapons with parts obtained online or manufactured in their homes. Some of the parts are drilled with machine tools or 3D printed and therefore do not have a serial number so it is harder for government to track the weapons. Biden has now made this legal activity for law-abiding gun owners — illegal.

However, as the Fast and Furious scandal — which happened under Biden's tenure as VP — shows us, serial numbers on guns don't stop anyone from committing crimes. The US gave serialized weapons to cartels, who in turn used them on Americans.

For generations, advocates of private gun ownership have been fighting exhaustively through political channels to protect their right to keep and bear arms. Gun owners even have one of the strongest lobby groups in Washington, the highly disappointing NRA. Yet over the years, gun rights continue to diminish in America, despite the constant political campaigns by the NRA and politicians who claim to support gun rights.

Psychopaths who want to cause harm to others will cause harm to others using any means necessary. Limiting the ability for law-abiding citizens to protect themselves will never change this.

While it would certainly be an amazing thought to be able to live in a world without guns, that is simply not the case. Until it is the case, anyone who wants to defend themselves and their family, should be able to do so in any manner they see fit — including making their own 3D gun — as the only other option is tyranny.

Republican Dave Yost and Democrat Steve Dettelbach are both attorneys. And they both have a way with words - peppering their comments with colourful statements like:

"I don't think that dog hunts."

"It just doesn't hold water."

"Well, that's just horsefeathers."

"Malarkey."

The Republican state auditor and the Democratic former US Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio disagree strongly on several issues – most notably, on what Yost could have done involving the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow. Dettelbach notes Yost met three times with a whistleblower who said the online charter school was inflating student attendance to get state money, and says Yost should have turned that over to law enforcement. But Dettelbach says Yost didn't because Yost received $29,000 in donations from ECOT founder Bill Lager.

"If, when I was U.S. attorney, if the people that I was investigating had come into my office like they did to Mr. Yost's and said, 'Hey, I know you were investigating, but you know what? Here's some checks for you for your campaign while you're investigating me.' I would have gotten on the phone. The FBI would have taken those guys out in handcuffs. It is outrageous for him to try to just muddy this up and not take responsibility. He ought to just take responsibility for what he did."

Yost donated the ECOT money to charity, and says his office was following appropriate procedure in not turning things over to law enforcement right away.

"Do you think the Columbus School investigation on data scrubbing should have handed over to law enforcement? No, that's Monday morning quarterbacking. We did what we always do when we get a complaint. We investigate. We go after the information that's available. And when we find something criminal, as I did in the 2017 audit, I turn it over to the authorities at that point."

Yost says almost everything that's now known about ECOT comes from the work of his office, and that the online school was shut down and changes happened in the law on charter schools because of his team. Dettelbach dismisses this.

Both candidates want to speed up work at the state's crime lab. Both say they'll look for objective criteria when it comes to hiring outside special counsel.

And they're both passionate when asked about the clergy sex abuse scandal in the Catholic Church. Dettelbach says if he wins, there will be an investigation. Yost says Dettelbach had a chance to do that and didn't.

"He had the full resources of the federal government, the Department of Justice, federal grand jury the FBI and he didn't say a word about it until he was out of power and three weeks in front of an election. Wow, that's demagoguery at its worst. I feel sorry for particularly the victims who are being put front and center on his little political play."


Dettlebach says this is in the purview of the state AG.

"My opponent respectfully doesn't really understand the law. So, the state attorney general is responsible for regulating charitable organizations, including things like the church and sexual abuse cases. Rape cases are state cases....I have come up with a specific plan to use that civil investigative authority to see whether or not there's been systematic abuse."

With 13 people dying each day in the latest official state numbers on the opioid crisis, the AG will play a key role. Both candidates have plans that involve law enforcement, treatment and prevention. And both say that the constitutional amendment that seeks to prioritize treatment over prison for drug offenders isn't the right way to fight it – though Yost says Dettelbach was late on his criticism of Issue 1 and Dettelbach says he broke from other Democrats on it after doing independent research. Since the day she was named Joe Biden's V.P. Kamala Harris (D-CA), the mainstream media has described Kamala Harris as a "moderate" who is so wonderful she practically walks on water. Sadly the media doesn't vet Democrats, because if they did some vetting of Harris' history as a prosecutor they would have discovered her disturbing record as the San Francisco DA–She refused to pursue child molestation criminal cases against Catholic priests investigated by her predecessor And when the victims asked her for help with their civil cases against those molesters the victims say she covered up the evidence. Coincidently (if you believe in coincidences) Kamala Harris received substantial campaign donations from people and organizations associated with the accused molesters and their defense.

In his book, Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America's Progressive Elite, Peter Schweizer unveils how Harris refused to pursue the case. And also exposes the fact that many of the law firms and lawyers who were representing the archdiocese on a variety of legal matters — including priests that had been identified as possible culprits — gave significant contributions to Harris's political campaign. Some of them had never given contributions to a race like this before, but they came up with the cash for Kamala Harris.

As Schweizer wrote:

"During her decade-and-a-half tenure as a chief prosecutor, Harris would fail to prosecute a single case of priest abuse and her office would strangely hide vital records on abuses that had occurred, despite the protests of victims' groups.

Harris's predecessor as San Francisco district attorney, Terence Hallinan, was aware of and had prosecuted numerous Catholic priests on sexual misconduct involving children. And he had been gathering case files for even more... Hallinan's office had launched an investigation and quickly discovered that the San Francisco Archdiocese had extensive internal records concerning complaints going back some seventy-five years. In spring of 2002, Hallinan demanded the church turn them over to his office."


Eventually, the archdiocese turned over the documents, and they were horrific. Supposedly the papers revealed the names of forty current and ex-priests who were accused of sexual abuse. DA Hallinan took the docs and began the process of bringing them to justice,

However, many of the cases were past what had been the statute of limitations. And just as the cases were heating up, the U.S. Supreme Court decision overturned a 1994 California law that retroactively eliminated the statute of limitations for sexual abuse cases. So instead of criminal prosecution for the older cases, Hallinan was forced to change his strategy. He wanted to hold the offenders accountable by releasing the clergy abuse files to the public and aiding the victims in civil cases.

But then Terence Hallinan made a big mistake. He lost his reelection bid to Kamala Harris. Of course, she had a little help from the local Catholic organizations that were freaking out over the prospect for Hallinan releasing the documents and helping the abuse victims. As Peter Schweizer explained in Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America's Progressive Elite:

"Harris had no particular ties to the Catholic Church or Catholic organizations, but the money still came in large, unprecedented sums. Lawyer Joseph Russoniello represented the church on a wide variety of issues, including the handling of the church abuse scandal. He served on the Catholic Church's National Review Board (NRB) of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. The purpose of the NRB was to review Catholic Church abuse cases. Russoniello was also a partner in the San Francisco law firm Cooley Godward. Russoniello donated the maximum amount by law to her campaign, $1,250, and his law firm added another $2,250. He also sat on Harris's advisory council when she was San Francisco, district attorney. Another law firm, Bingham McCutcheon, which handled legal matters for the archdiocese concerning Catholic Charities, donated $2,825, the maximum allowed. Curiously, Bingham McCutcheon had only donated to two other candidates running for office in San Francisco before, for a total of $650. As with Russoniello, their support was unusual.

Another law firm, Arguedas, Cassman Francisco priest against abuse claims at the time. They donated $4,550 to Harris. The lawyer in the case, Cristina Arguedas, also served on Kamala Harris's advisory council.

Beyond these law firms, board members of San Francisco Catholic archdiocese–related organizations and their family members donated another $50,950 to Harris's campaign."


We don't know if it was 100% a quid pro quo, but it certainly smells like it because after she took office,  the investigations of the abusers stopped as did the cooperation with the civil suits. While her predecessor was going to release the papers from the archdiocese, Harris refused. "District Attorney Harris focuses her efforts on putting child molesters in prison," her office claimed. "We're not interested in selling out our victims to look good in the paper." However, victims and victims advocates wanted the information released. For example:

"They're full of sh--," said Joey Piscitelli [a victim] and the northwest regional director of Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests (SNAP), the largest and most active victims group. "You can quote me on that. They're not protecting the victims."

Rick Simons, an attorney who represented multiple victims of clergy abuse, also attacked Harris's actions. Hiding the records "shows policy of ignoring the rights of children by one of the largest institutions of the city and county of San Francisco, and in the Bay Area."


D.A. Kamala Harris refused to help the abuse victims in their civil actions. Interviewed by the liberal Intercept, victims spoke the refusal of Kamala Harris to give them access to the archdiocese files that would help them with their cases, or even talk to them when they asked for help:

"It went from Terence Hallinan going hundred miles an hour, full speed ahead, after the Catholic Church to Kamala Harris doing absolutely nothing and taking it backwards hundred miles an hour," said Joey Piscitelli, a sexual assault survivor, who a jury found had been molested as a student while attending Salesian College Preparatory, a Catholic high school in Richmond, California.

Piscitelli had met with Hallinan's office to discuss his case and the ongoing investigation into the church. But, he said, when Harris took over, his access to the office was shut off and his requests for clergy abuse files were ignored. Piscitelli resorted to handing out flyers and picketing outside the district attorney's office on San Francisco's McAllister Street."


When Piscitelli was asking Kamala Harris for help, his abuser was working at the Saints Peter and Paul Church in San Francisco, a position that placed him in an environment filled with children. In other words, Harris didn't even care that the man was in another location where he could abuse kids.

"Dominic De Lucca, a Burlingame, California, resident who says he was raped by a local priest when he was 12 years old, also said he was shocked that Harris declined to aggressively pursue clergy abuse cases and refused to release the files. "I remember Kamala Harris," said De Lucca. "She didn't want to have any meetings." He went on, "She wanted the public to think this is an issue that happened years ago, that it doesn't happen anymore. Let's just move on."

Terence McAteer, a resident of Nevada City, California, says he was raped as a child by Austin Peter Keegan, an infamous San Francisco priest. McAteer said he sees no value in Harris's decision to conceal the clergy abuse files, which had been used to indict his abuser but remain secret to this day. "Why not tell the story?" said McAteer. "I have no problem with my file being released. I don't have any great secrets. It's already in the newspaper. I think the whole cloak of secrecy with the Catholic Church needs to be exposed."

Several survivors of clergy abuse said they believed that Harris had declined to release the files in deference to the Catholic Church, which has historically held sway as a major political force in San Francisco."


The Intercept published a video of its interview of Joey Piscitelli. The video is at the bottom of this post.

Schweizer reported that "in April 2010, a journalist with the San Francisco Weekly asked for the records through California's Public Records Act. Harris's office denied the request, offering conflicting explanations as to why they could not provide them.

Even after Kamala Harris left office, the records couldn't be shared because they disappeared "In 2019, I [Peter Schwiezer] requested those records through a California attorney. The San Francisco district attorney's office responded that they no longer had them in their possession. Were they destroyed? Were they moved somewhere else? It remains a disturbing mystery."

Look, the above story is crucial, especially in the context of the 2020 election.

It is another example of how the mainstream media covers for liberal candidates. If Kamala Harris was a Republican, the fact that she threw sexual abuse victims under the bus and seems to have done it for campaign donations would be front-page news in the N.Y. Times and the Washington Post. It's not like it was a secret, Peter Schweizer's book,  Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America's Progressive Elite was a best seller.

Obviously, I don't agree with Kamala Harris' extreme leftist political positions, But IMHO this is much worse. How can any human being ignore the cries of sexual abuse victims? They were children for heaven's sake.  When she took over from Terence Hallinan, Kamala Harris had all the information to help the victims, but she did nothing except hide the evidence. Heck, the Democrats tried to impeach a president for making a phone call they didn't like, but at their convention, they nominate a woman who covered up child molestation, for Vice President. That ranks only slightly higher than the molesters themselves.

Regular readers of this site know I am a big fan of Peter Schweizer's work. Like much of his previous work, Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America's Progressive Elite is a must-read for anyone who believes it wrong when those with political power get to operate by a different set of rules than us, regular people. To be honest, I can't wait for the next one.

Gee, I wonder why the politics of the world are becoming so concerned and involved with sexual deviance? To the effect of normalizing all such and even denying biological differences between the sexes. To be taught to our children and left to their decision regarding themselves. Could it be? Could this be the tie the binds the radical left and as it seems so often, the Vatican? This to will come out in the laundry on judgment day.

The concern comes from the reassignments of Archbishop-elect Arnaldo Catalan and Archbishop-elect Javier Herrera Corona. Catalan, the chargé d'affaires of the apostolic nunciature in Taiwan, will go to Rwanda; and Corona, head of the Holy See Study Mission in Hong Kong, will go to the Republic of the Congo.

Rogers: "They appear to have been very suddenly and unexpectedly withdrawn from their posts and reassigned to other posts, with no replacements announced for them."

The new appointments are particularly troubling, with the pontiff reportedly receiving $2 billion annually since 2013, the secret Vatican–China Accord in effect since 2018 and the Vatican silent on the CCP's increasing crackdown on religious freedom.

Rogers is not the only person sounding the alarm.

Rogers: "I've been in touch with at least three Catholic journalists in Rome, who know the inside of the Vatican very well. They said they have also heard these rumors independently of me."

Moreover, Ta Kung Pao, a CCP-controlled newspaper, recently published 4 articles attacking religious freedom in Hong Kong, one of which bashes Hong Kong's bishop emeritus, Cdl. Joseph Zen.

Rogers: "The Chinese Communist Party's way of operating when they want to launch a major initiative or a major crackdown is very often to trail it in the State media, the pro-Beijing media."

When the Vatican was preparing to renew the secret accord with China in 2020, Cdl. Pietro Parolin, Vatican City's secretary of state, ominously stated it was "only a starting point."

In 2020, Cdl. Joseph Zen told Church Militant he had evidence to believe Parolin is "not a man of God."

HUh? Papal puppet Roman Catholic Joe Biden involved in all kinds of secret transactions with China, the Vatican involved in secret accords and transactions with China. Could it be? The Vatican — or Holy See, as it is officially known — performs this identity switch on a regular basis:

In recent years the Holy See has, when convenient, both asserted and renounced its statehood. Recently, and nearly simultaneously, the Holy See claimed statehood to ask for diplomatic immunity from sex abuse cases in the United States while denying statehood to refuse cooperation with the International Criminal Court. Often, when denying its state status, the Holy See instead claims to be a religious institution, accompanied by demands that the First Amendment of the United States Constitution protect the actions of the church after claims that members of the hierarchy mismanaged allegations of sexual abuse. The Vatican has also falsely claimed that the Vatican Bank is not part of the Vatican State and therefore does not fall under European Union anti money laundering rules.

Three separate legal entities

In fact, the Vatican actually has, not two, but three persona, and all are separate legal entities.

The Pontiff's "triple crown" can serve to remind us of his role as primate of the Church, as CEO of its government and as ruler of a pocket-sized principality. That is to say, he presides over three distinct entities:

♦  The Roman Catholic Church is an international organisation claiming to provide exclusive access to — or exemption from - certain destinations in the hereafter.

♦  The Holy See is an absolute monarchy, "by divine right" [7] whose ruler is appointed by God. [8] The Holy See is the government of both the Roman Catholic Church and of the Vatican State.

♦  The Vatican State, (officially "State of the Vatican City"), a country of less than half a square kilometre (the smallest in the world) with less than 600 citizens, most of them clergy or Swiss Guards.


The lesson of 1870: a state can end, but its government can live on in exile

We can begin this tale of multiple identities with the unification of Italy in 1870. That was when the Papal States were overrun by Italian troops and the Pope lost his kingdom in Central Italy. Early in the next century, however, with the help of Pope Pius XI, Mussolini came to power. In 1929 the Italian government made the Lateran Treaty with the Church government, the Holy See, which gave it back enough land to create the smallest country in the world, the Vatican State.

The Vatican once more had a plot of land to call its own. It had also learned a valuable lesson: that territory may be confiscated, but a government can survive, even in exile. The Vatican's government is the Holy See which governs both the Vatican State and of a church which influences the minds of more than a billion people. This disembodied "government" offers a more secure base than real estate alone. In fact, probably as a response to objections to the Vatican being treated as a country, they neatly define themselves as eternal.
Canon 113.1 makes clear that "the Catholic Church and the Apostolic See have the nature of a moral person by divine law itself". "That means that the Holy See, [...] will endure, even if it were to be reduced to its simplest expression in the person of the Pope and even to the end of time." [9] In other words, unlike the Vatican State, the Catholic Church and the Holy See are eternal. Yet despite the claims of timelessness, was only in 1957 that the Vatican hit upon the idea of making the Holy See its persona on the international stage. [10]

This non-territorial "government", the Holy See, is careful to hold the Vatican State at arm's length as a "vassal" territory, rather than ruling it directly. [11] The Vatican is anxious to keep its international presence and privileges from depending on a plot of land defended by a hundred and ten men armed with pikes. (A former guardsman says that their weaponry now includes tear gas and pepper spray to protect the Holy Father from "religious fanatics". [12])

The world's smallest microstate

  Like the Sultanate of Brunei in Borneo and the Kingdom of Swaziland, the Vatican City State, is an absolute monarchy, This makes it ineligible to join the Council of Europe or the European Union. However, the Lateran Treaty (with Mussolini in 1929) allowed it to mint its own coins and these are now legal tender throughout the Eurozone.

  From its tiny plot of land the Holy See runs its diplomatic service, with "apostolic nuncios" serving as accredited ambassadors to countries round the globe. However, this microstate isn't even big enough to hold the offices of the ambassadors acredited to the Holy See. The foreign embassies must be located in Rome outside the borders of the Vatican State. In fact, the Italian Embassy to the Vatican sits on Italian territory.
The Vatican State is also too small to accommodate the patriarchal basilicas in Rome, let alone the pope's summer residence at Castel Gandolfo, and therefore it has arranged for extra-territorial privileges (similar to those enjoyed by foreign embassies in a host country [13]) at 28 places in Italy.

Even so, the tiny Vatican State has proved invaluable as a springboard into international diplomacy. If it weren't for the Vatican State, the Holy See's diplomacy could hardly be expected to function in practical terms.

"State visit" or "pilgrimmage", according to convenience

The pope's official titles reflect both his religious and territorial identities. On the one hand, he is the Vicar of Christ and Successor of the Prince of the Apostles (Peter), etc., and on the other, Sovereign of the State of the Vatican City. And when he goes abroad he continues to juggle his two identities.

Paul VI, "the Pilgrim Pope", became the first pontiff to visit five continents, while John Paul II managed to visit 130 countries. Here, as usual, the different roles are adroitly combined. As "pilgrimages" these trips are liturgical spectacles – and as "state visits" they get paid for by the host country.

The advantages sovereign state status confers, including banking unsupervised by any banking authority, the ability to issue passports, the granting of diplomatic immunity and membership of international organisations at the state level, should not be underestimated. [14]

Escaping accountability by using the Vatican State to redefine treaty obligations, claim diplomatic immunity and refuse extradition

The Vatican also uses statehood to get it off the hook morally and legally for clerical child abuse.

Redefining treaty obligations

The Vatican has continued to use its statehood to try to keep from having to pay damages to children abused by its own priests. When challenged by the UN about its obligation to protect children and oppose torture — after all, it has signed UN treaties to this effect — it came up with an amazing excuse. It claimed that it signed treaties "exclusively in the name of and on the part of Vatican City State." [15]

In 2013 it told the United Nations committee on the Convention Against Torture that it was morally and legally responsible only for abuse perpetrated within the tiny enclave of the Vatican City State. After all, it pointed out, the Holy See had signed the Convention, not as the government of the Catholic Church, but only in its other role as the government of the Vatican State. [16]

In the Vatican shell game, whichever shell you look under, the responsibility isn't there. (For more on this, scroll down to the section, "Finally Vatican admits its signature only applies to its tiny enclave".)

And when the UN Committee didn't buy this, the Vatican gave them a lecture, about how the "religious obedience" required of clerics by canons 331 and 590 did not mean that the Holy See had control over what they did (#7). [17] (Canon 331 says that the pope "possesses supreme, full, immediate, and universal ordinary power in the Church, which he is always able to exercise freely" and Canon 590 says that priests are "bound to obey the Supreme Pontiff as their highest superior by reason of the sacred bond of obedience".) But, apparently none of this can be used as evidence of anything since, as the Vatican told the committee, it is the only one allowed to interpret Canon Law (#8). [18]

Claiming diplomatic immunity

In 2005 the Vatican asked the American Government to put an end to lawsuits against Catholic churches there. It reminded the Americans that the Holy See was a "sovereign entity" and suggested that they "recall the immunity for its acts that international law anticipates." [19] And, indeed, a few months later "the U.S. Justice Department [...] told a Texas court that a lawsuit accusing Pope Benedict XVI of conspiring to cover up the sexual molestation of three boys by a seminarian should be dismissed because the pontiff enjoys immunity as head of state of the Holy See." [20]

Then in 2010 the US Supreme Court refused to review whether the Vatican is a sovereign state, thereby refusing to question the broad legal immunity from prosecution over the sexual abuse of minors by priests in the United States. [21] This meant that suits against the Vatican in the US could only be pursued under an exception to the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act of 1976, which involves employees acting within the scope of their employment. [22]
However, in 2012 a US court blocked this way to breach the immunity of the Vatican. An Oregon federal court ruled that there wasn't "a true employment relationship" between a clerical child molester and the Holy See. [23]

—  Refusing extradition

That same year the Vatican also hid behind its statehood to avoid the prosecution of a senior papal diplomat, Archbishop Jozef Wesolowski. It secretly whisked the papal nuncio out of the Dominican Republic to keep him from having to answer accusations of child abuse. [24] Then, when he was safely on its territory, it invoked his diplomatic immunity as an excuse not to hand him back. The following year, to distance his alleged crimes from the Church, he was defrocked and his diplomatic immunity ceased, but the Vatican's statehood still protected him. The Vatican continued to refuse to let him face justice by saying that it didn't extradite Vatican citizens. [25]

According to the Vatican's 2011 citizenship law, the ex-cleric is safe, providing he remains in the Vatican State. Of course, now his citizenship can no longer rest on his "office or service". However, just as canon law allows the pope to do anything he wants, the laws of the Vatican State let him specially grant citizenship to a defrocked paedophile. [26] So long as the pope lets Mr. Wesolowski keep his Vatican citizenship and he stays within Vatican territory, he should remain safe from prosecution by any other country.

It has even been speculated that this is why Benedict XVI has also retired in this legally secure enclave. [27] Does this give a modern meaning to "Prisoner of the Vatican"?

Concordats — "treaties" that can't be broken without Vatican permission

In addition to papal visits and immunity for clerical criminals, the Vatican diplomatic apparatus has another important function. It allows the negotiation of "treaties", called "concordats". These agreements with other sovereign states in order to secure privileges for the Church. Because they are made with the Holy See, rather than with the local Catholic archbishop, these concordats can generally override national laws. This, in turn, means that privileges, once granted to the Church, are removed from democratic control – forever. [28]

Manoeuvring to join the United Nations

The Vatican is not content to run a church which influences the minds of more than a billion people. It wants global influence through international bodies. Perhaps the Vatican's greatest benefit from statehood is the way this has given it to infiltrate the United Nations. To accomplish this, it has skilfully exploited its multiple identities for almost a century until finally the goal of full membership seems almost within its grasp.

In 1929, the very year it was founded, the Vatican State joined the Universal Postal Union, and later on, the International Telecommunications Union, as well. [29] Membership in these international bodies then allowed the Holy See in 1957 to get "observer" privileges at the United Nations (as opposed to the mere "consultative status" accorded to most non-governmental organizations – including other religions). [30]
In 1964 it managed to have these privileges upgraded, when the Holy See acquired "permanent observer" status at the UN. This permitted an unbroken presence at the UN and access to all UN forums. Both of these are invaluable for lobbying at important UN events such as the Conference on Population and Development. [31] This conference was strategic for the Vatican, since developing nations rely heavily on the UN to help out with social services. As a result, people living in these countries, regardless of their religious affiliation, are increasingly subject to Catholic agencies which enforce Church dogma – and these policies condemn millions to unwanted pregnancies and AIDS. [32]

In 2003 the Vatican tried to take the final step to reach its goal. It let it be known that it would be open to becoming a full member of the UN. [33] The attempt proved premature and, threatened with an embarrassing challenge to its statehood, the Vatican backed off and the next year accepted a more modest upgrade, to let it take part in General Assembly debates. Among the  additional rights given to the Holy See were the power to co-sponsor draft resolutions, to circulate proposals and position papers as official documents, to make points of order, and to exercise the right of reply. [34] The Holy See's "enhanced observer status" has been likened to a "full member state, just without the vote."

As the Vatican's Permanent Observer at the UN remarked serenely, "We have no vote because this is our choice." [35] At the same time he noted pointedly that this latest move "does not close any path for the future." [35] In fact, the satisfaction expressed by the Vatican when the Palestinian Authority was also given observer status at the United Nations as a "non-member state", suggests that the Church may hope to use the Palestinians as a wedge and further improve its own status in tandem with the PLO. [37]

Pushing its reproductive policies on women worldwide

Meanwhile, the lack of a vote has not prevented the Vatican from taking an active part in meetings of UN groups such as the Commission on the Status of Women. This forum is meant to promote gender equality, which Vatican uses its influence to oppose. There it bolsters others in this aim. The Norwegian Minister for Equality noted that "The Vatican, conservative religious forces within the United States and Europe, Catholic and Muslim countries are joining forces to stop women from gaining sexual rights." [38] The Holy See does not have the right to vote, but its permanent observer status enables it to lobby. It is claimed that "one tactic of the Holy See in the past has been to personally call ministers to persuade them to take a particular stance at the CSW talks, even if it flies in the face of a country's national polices". [39]

This strategy has paid off. In 2012 a group of conservative states managed to prevent a decision to put gays' and women's rights above the forces of "tradition". One wonders who organised this coalition.... [41]

The Vatican continues to try to use UN conferences to work its way by degrees into full membership. Angry demands to be included as full participants in conferences are meant to set precedents. [41] Already its participation in key UN conferences has allowed it to block some attempts to let the world's women plan their families. The triple-tiered Papal headgear is being used to engineer a major human tragedy.

Not only did COP26 fail to respond to the Pope's call to action, but Joe Biden's "Build Back Better" initiative also fell short. Praise the Lord! We've been given a small window of opportunity to spread the message of the Third Angel to the rest of the world. Justin Worland praises the president at first, but then criticizes him for taking a soft approach to the climate crisis. Joe Biden, he claims, has been using carrots rather than the stick:

"It makes sense then that from the outset the Biden Administration's climate-spending plan has focused primarily on carrots rather than sticks. That is, it included a laundry list of rewards for companies doing positive things—namely tax credits for clean energy and subsidies for technologies like electric vehicles. Meanwhile, the two key policies that would have penalized businesses for their emissions—a fee for methane emissions and a tax when power companies failed to meet emissions-reductions targets—were abandoned after industry pushback." [1]

According to Justin Worland, we need to use the "stick" in order to move the climate agenda forward. This means that we'll need more oppressive government mandates to suspend our civil and religious liberties for the sake of the "common good." Justin Worland also says that corporations must take on a bigger role in combating climate change because governments are failing to do so.

"The truth is that in 2022 Big Business has the power to influence—and halt—much of what the government does ... The private sector has enormous power. And our tax code reflects that in this country. And what we need is our environmental policy to reflect reality." [1]

To put it another way, we need massive, powerful climate mandates. After that, Justin Worland urges individuals and activists to exert pressure on corporations and hold them accountable. He claims that everyone must "fight" to "reshape the lives of people everywhere" by taking action on climate change:

"To make up for the slow pace of government policy to guarantee an equitable transition, many activists have set their sights on influencing corporations directly ... It's for that reason that the upswing in climate-activist movements—from the youth's marching for a Green New Deal to the union members' joining with climate activists to push for a just transition—matters beyond any policy platform. Climate change will reshape the lives of people everywhere. A truly just transition will require people to engage in the fight to fix it." [1]

They want to reshape the world. The call is being made to people everywhere to fight. What Justin Worland and many others fail to recognize is that there is a powerful force at work, dictating, imposing, and attempting to create global climate policy for all governments. There is a power described in Bible prophecy that is influencing politicians, the commercial sector, social organizations, religious groups, and ordinary individuals on a grass-roots level. Who is this power? Rome. Only the Vatican, through Pope Francis, is calling for the establishment of a global government with the power to enforce "sanctions" on countries in order to carry out climate change measures. Take note of the following passages from his encyclical on climate change, Laudato Si:

"Given this situation, it is essential to devise stronger and more efficiently organized international institutions, with functionaries who are appointed fairly by agreement among national governments, and empowered to impose sanctions" (Laudato Si' #175).

"To manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result; to bring about integral and timely disarmament, food security and peace; to guarantee the protection of the environment and to regulate migration: for all this, there is urgent need of a true world political authority." The Pope is calling for a global political body with the authority to enact global legislation in order to reverse the harmful effects of climate change. Our economy, business, agriculture, politics, education, healthcare, religion, media, and everything else in our culture will all be affected by this global political body. This is a bold plan to fundamentally alter our global structures and lives.

Yes, business leaders, religious leaders, celebrities, and government officials are all working together to chart a new course for the planet's long-term sustainability. Many of these political shifts are being orchestrated by the Vatican, which is pulling the strings from behind the scenes. The problem is that such efforts will lead to the establishment of a global Marxist-Socialist political system, described in Revelation 13, which will result in the loss of civil and religious liberties as well as our Judeo-Christian heritage.

Sachs directly attacked President Donald Trump by name, saying that the U.S. problem "became a far more significant problem with Donald Trump," adding that the U.S. will be  "absolutely dangerous" to the "big consensus" if Trump "wins re-election this year."

Sachs was the keynote speaker at the Feb. 5 conference on "New Forms of Solidarity: Towards fraternal inclusion, integration and innovation" at the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences.

National Catholic Register's Rome correspondent Edward Pentin first covered Sachs' remarks and published video of them.

Argentine Bishop Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo, the Chancellor of the Pontifical Academies of Sciences and Social Sciences, smiled and nodding approvingly during Sachs' ten-minute speech. Sorondo has previously advocated that Catholics have no more than one or two children and The Pontifical Academy of Sciences, which he heads, has come under fire in recent years for hosting pro-abortion, pro-population control speakers with ties to the United Nations.

The recurrent theme of Sachs' speech was that Trump and the U.S. are a threat to "multilateralism", meaning the pursuit of common goals by various nations.

An example of the sort of "multilateral" effort supported by Sachs is the UN's "Sustainable Development Goals," which he helped to draft. Those goals include the aim to "ensure universal sexual and reproductive health and rights," a euphemism for the legalization of abortion on demand and giving children access to birth control drugs and devices as well as abortion without parental knowledge.

By contrast, Trump has taken measures to stop U.S. taxpayer dollars from funding abortion overseas; and defunded the United Nations Population Fund, which cooperates with China's forced abortion regime.

In 2018 Trump told the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York: "America is governed by Americans. We reject the ideology of globalism, and we embrace the doctrine of patriotism."

Sachs began his speech by saying that "multilateralism is not under threat, per se, in most of the world. It is under threat because of the United States, and I want to say this clearly because it's not a game."

"The U.S. is a problem," he continued. "It became a far more significant problem with Donald Trump."

Sachs focused the majority of his attacks on Trump's foreign economic policies, but also attacked him for his approach to international climate agreements and U.S. military engagements.

"The US has blocked every multilateral initiative of recent years", Sachs said. It is the only country pulling out of the Paris climate agreement."

The Paris Agreement has been roundly criticized by pro-life and pro-family leaders, primarily because it calls for "gender equality" and "empowerment of women," phrases that critics say are used to push the LGBT agenda, contraception, and abortion. In 2018 U.S. cardinal, Joseph Tobin, called on Trump to rejoin the agreement.

Sachs also criticized Trump for pulling out of the JCPOA nuclear deal with Iran and for his economic actions with regards to China. "There is not a China, U.S., trade war", Sachs continued. "There is a U.S. trade war on China – that is different. This was an unpremeditated attack."

Sachs accused the Trump administration of "thuggery" and "a complete violation of every international rule" with regards to its military engagement in Iraq. He described the current U.S. administration as "bullies" who make "vulgar threats" and spoke of Trump's "overt hostility against everybody".

In a direct attack on Trump's hopes of winning reelection this year, Sachs said: "I'm sorry to say, it — it's my country — I'm not very happy to say it, but this is an imperial power in decline and it is a dangerous country right now. It will be absolutely dangerous if Trump wins re-election."

Sachs ended his speech calling on globalists and other leaders gathered for the conference to move forward toward a "decent world," even if without "unanimity."

"So, we had a good discussion today. There is really a big consensus on this world for a decent world. It's not unanimous, but let's not depend on unanimity. Let's move forward when a large part of the world wants to do the right thing," he said.

"The climate crisis affects all of us. The IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) report warned us that humanity has caused unprecedented and irreversible change to the climate. This begs the question, what could God be saying to the church and our involvement in bringing about climate justice?"

Global leaders, politicians, activists and scientists gathered at climate summit COP26 last year in Glasgow, taking decisive action on the fate of humanity and our planet. But what is the prophetic role of the church when it comes to our environment? If the church is going to play an active prophetic role in climate conversations, we must seek to educate and mobilise the whole body. In essence, the collective wisdom of the whole church is required to tackle the climate crisis.

Finding a collective wisdom

Some parts of the church are currently more involved in engaging in the climate conversation than others. But if we understand climate concerns as a missional imperative that requires whole-life disciples, then we need ecumenical collaboration around climate concerns. Firstly, this will mean developing a biblical framework on climate justice.

The jubilee concept in the Old Testament is a helpful theological framework and very significant in the light of the sabbath rest needed for our planet. In the Old Testament, God instituted among the Israelites a sabbatical rest for the community and the land. The community of Israel were supposed to cultivate the land for six years and then allow it to rest in the seventh year by not cultivating it at all (see Leviticus 25). This principle allowed for an ecological recovery to the land and their agricultural system.

We rest our bodies... but will we rest our land?

If part of the climate crisis we are facing is that we have overused earth's resources, we need a theological framework that can help us cultivate a sustainable lifestyle to combat overconsumption. The threefold sabbath principle can help, which is:

*first, that God himself rested after His creation, modelling for us the idea that rest is foundational;

*second, God commanded humanity to rest, reminding us that we have limits and need to take a step back to reflect and to reset (I think the pandemic, despite its uncomfortableness, has given humanity something of an opportunity to slow down, reflect and reset); and

*last, that God encouraged the children of Israel to till the land for six years and in the seventh to allow it to fallow, that is, rest.

In summary, God wants humanity and the land to rest so that they can be restored, re-energised and replenish. Imagine what change that could bring to our consumeristic world today.

Living out a collective wisdom

If the church can unite around this collective wisdom, we begin to see this issue not just as a political one, but a wholeheartedly biblical one too.

From here, we can prophetically imagine and begin to participate in the missional imperative of climate justice, and partner with God in His restoration. The Church of England is one of the parts of the body of Christ that has long been engaging in the climate discourse. Their Five Marks of Mission spells out the missional imperative around this issue. The fifth Mark of Mission states, ​"To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth". Some of the charismatic church networks understand this missional imperative through a form of kingdom theology that engages in holistic mission.

Whole-life discipleship

Lastly, we need to ensure that our church collaborations around climate justice are rooted in whole-life discipleship. This is important so that climate justice is not seen as an add-on to our faith but an outworking of what it means to follow Jesus. This will mean educating church members through sermons, Bible study series, Sunday school materials, worship songs and liturgy on the need for climate justice. The whole church must view climate justice as an essential part of God's mission. This will in turn help the whole church to begin to shape its practices in the light of caring for God's creation.

In conclusion, the church has a prophetic role to play when it comes to climate justice. As you consider your own spiritual rest, how can this principle extend to your whole life discipleship? As the Holy Spirit invites us to participate in the restoration of creation, what might He be prompting you to do today to champion our planet?

Apostate, Common Good seeking, Collectivist "Christianity", does have a very important prophetic role to play in setting up the final global beast power. As the pandemic began to unfold, scores of Catholic dioceses across the U.S. received aid through the Paycheck Protection Program while sitting on well over $10 billion in cash, short-term investments or other available funds, an Associated Press investigation has found. And despite the broad economic downturn, these assets have grown in many dioceses.

Yet even with that financial safety net, the 112 dioceses that shared their financial statements, along with the churches and schools they oversee, collected at least $1.5 billion in taxpayer-backed aid. A majority of these dioceses reported enough money on hand to cover at least six months of operating expenses, even without any new income.

The financial resources of several dioceses rivaled or exceeded those available to publicly traded companies like Shake Shack and Ruth's Chris Steak House, whose early participation in the program triggered outrage. Federal officials responded by emphasizing the money was intended for those who lacked the cushion that cash and other liquidity provide. Shake Shack and Ruth's Chris joined many corporations in returning the funds.

Overall, the nation's nearly 200 dioceses, where bishops and cardinals govern, and other Catholic institutions received at least $3 billion. That makes the Roman Catholic Church perhaps the biggest beneficiary of the paycheck program, according to AP's analysis of data the U.S. Small Business Administration released following a public-records lawsuit by news organizations. The agency for months had shared only partial information, making a more precise analysis impossible.

Already one of the largest federal aid efforts ever, the SBA reopened the Paycheck Protection Program last month with a new infusion of nearly $300 billion. In making the announcement, the agency's administrator at the time, Jovita Carranza, hailed the program for serving "as an economic lifeline to millions of small businesses."

Church officials have said their employees were as worthy of help as workers at Main Street businesses, and that without it they would have had to slash jobs and curtail their charitable mission as demand for food pantries and social services spiked. They point out the program's rules didn't require them to exhaust their stores of cash and other funds before applying.

But new financial statements several dozen dioceses have posted for 2020 show that their available resources remained robust or improved during the pandemic's hard, early months. The pattern held whether a diocese was big or small, urban or rural, East or West, North or South.

In Kentucky, funds available to the Archdiocese of Louisville, its parishes and other organizations grew from at least $153 million to at least $157 million during the fiscal year that ended in June, AP found. Those same offices and organizations received at least $17 million in paycheck money. "The Archdiocese's operations have not been significantly impacted by the Covid-19 outbreak," according to its financial statement.

In Illinois, the Archdiocese of Chicago had more than $1 billion in cash and investments in its headquarters and cemetery division as of May, while the faithful continued to donate "more than expected," according to a review by the independent ratings agency Moody's Investors Service. Chicago's parishes, schools and ministries accumulated at least $77 million in paycheck protection funds.

Up the interstate from Charlotte in North Carolina, the Raleigh Diocese collected at least $11 million in aid. Yet during the fiscal year that ended in June, overall offerings were down just 5% and the assets available to the diocese, its parishes and schools increased by about $21 million to more than $170 million, AP found. In another measure of fiscal health, the diocese didn't make an emergency draw on its $10 million line of credit.

Catholic leaders in dioceses including Charlotte, Chicago, Louisville and Raleigh said their parishes and schools, like many other businesses and nonprofits, suffered financially when they closed to slow the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Some dioceses reported that their hardest-hit churches saw income drop by 40% or more before donations began to rebound months later, and schools took hits when fundraisers were canceled and families had trouble paying tuition. As revenues fell, dioceses said, wage cuts and a few dozen layoffs were necessary in some offices.

Catholic researchers at Georgetown University who surveyed the nation's bishops last summer found such measures weren't frequent. In comparison, a survey by the investment bank Goldman Sachs found 42% of small business owners had cut staff or salaries, and that 33% had spent their personal savings to stay open.

Church leaders have questioned why AP focused on their faith following a story last July, when New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan wrote that reporters "invented a story when none existed and sought to bash the Church."

By using a special exemption that the church lobbied to include in the paycheck program, Catholic entities amassed at least $3 billion — roughly the same as the combined total of recipients from the other faiths that rounded out the top five, AP found. Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist and Jewish faith-based recipients also totaled at least $3 billion. Catholics account for about 20% of the U.S. religious population, while members of those four faiths represent about 25%, according to the Pew Research Center.

Catholic institutions also received many times more than other major nonprofits with charitable missions and national reach, such as the United Way, Goodwill Industries and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Overall, Catholic recipients got roughly twice as much as 40 of the largest, most well-known charities in America combined, AP found.

The complete picture is certainly even more lopsided. So many Catholic entities received help that reporters could not identify them all, even after spending hundreds of hours hand-checking tens of thousands of records in federal data.

The Vatican referred questions about the paycheck program to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, which said it does not speak on behalf of dioceses.

Presented with AP's findings, bishops conference spokeswoman Chieko Noguchi responded with a broad statement that the Paycheck Protection Program was "designed to protect the jobs of Americans from all walks of life, regardless of whether they work for for-profit or nonprofit employers, faith-based or secular."

Background

The mid-to-late 19th century witnessed an increase in popularity of political Catholicism across Europe. According to historian Michael A. Riff, a common feature of these movements was opposition not only to secularism, but also to both capitalism and socialism. In 1891 Pope Leo XIII promulgated Rerum novarum, in which he addressed the "misery and wretchedness pressing so unjustly on the majority of the working class" and spoke of how "a small number of very rich men" had been able to "lay upon the teeming masses of the laboring poor a yoke little better than that of slavery itself". Affirmed in the encyclical was the right of all men to own property, the necessity of a system that allowed "as many as possible of the people to become owners", the duty of employers to provide safe working conditions and sufficient wages, and the right of workers to unionise. Common and government property ownership was expressly dismissed as a means of helping the poor.

Around the start of the 20th century, G. K. Chesterton and Hilaire Belloc drew together the disparate experiences of the various cooperatives and friendly societies in Northern England, Ireland, and Northern Europe into a coherent political theory which specifically advocated widespread private ownership of housing and control of industry through owner-operated small businesses and worker-controlled cooperatives. Political spectrum

The position of distributists when compared to other political philosophies is somewhat paradoxical and complicated (see triangulation). Strongly entrenched in an organic but very English Catholicism, advocating culturally traditionalist and agrarian values, directly challenging the precepts of Whig history—Belloc was nonetheless an MP for the Liberal Party and Chesterton once stated "As much as I ever did, more than I ever did, I believe in Liberalism. But there was a rosy time of innocence when I believed in Liberals". This liberalism is different from most modern forms, taking influence from William Cobbett and John Ruskin, who combined elements of radicalism, challenging the establishment position, but from a perspective of renovation, not revolution; seeing themselves as trying to restore the traditional liberties of England and her people which had been taken away from them, amongst other things, since the Industrial Revolution.

While converging with certain elements of traditional Toryism, especially an appreciation of the Middle Ages and organic society, there were several points of significant contention. While many Tories were strongly opposed to reform, the distributists in certain cases saw this not as conserving a legitimate traditional concept of England, but in many cases entrenching harmful errors and innovations. Belloc was quite explicit in his opposition to Protestantism as a concept and schism from the Catholic Church in general, considering the division of Christendom in the 16th century one of the most harmful events in European history. Elements of Toryism on the other hand were quite intransigent when it came to the Church of England as the established church, some even spurning their original legitimist ultra-royalist principles in regards to James II to uphold it.

Much of Dorothy L. Sayers' writings on social and economic matters has affinity with distributism. She may have been influenced by them, or have come to similar conclusions on her own. As an Anglican, the reasonings she gave are rooted in the theologies of Creation and Incarnation, and are slightly different[how?] from the Catholic Chesterton and Belloc.

Economic theory

Private property

Under such a system, most people would be able to earn a living without having to rely on the use of the property of others to do so. Examples of people earning a living in this way would be farmers who own their own land and related machinery, carpenters and plumbers who own their own tools, among others. The cooperative approach advances beyond this perspective to recognise that such property and equipment may be co-owned by local communities larger than a family, e.g. partners in a business.

In Rerum novarum, Leo XIII states that people are likely to work harder and with greater commitment if they themselves possess the land on which they labour, which in turn will benefit them and their families as workers will be able to provide for themselves and their household. He puts forward the idea that when men have the opportunity to possess property and work on it, they will "learn to love the very soil which yields in response to the labor of their hands, not only food to eat, but an abundance of the good things for themselves and those that are dear to them". He states also that owning property is not only beneficial for a person and their family, but is in fact a right, due to God having "given the earth for the use and enjoyment of the whole human race".

Similar views are presented by G. K. Chesterton in his 1910 book, What's Wrong with the World. Chesterton believes that whilst God has limitless capabilities, man has limited abilities in terms of creation. As such, man therefore is entitled to own property and to treat it as he sees fit, stating: "Property is merely the art of the democracy. It means that every man should have something that he can shape in his own image, as he is shaped in the image of heaven. But because he is not God, but only a graven image of God, his self-expression must deal with limits; properly with limits that are strict and even small." Chesterton summed up his distributist views in the phrase "Three acres and a cow".

According to Belloc, the distributive state (the state which has implemented distributism) contains "an agglomeration of families of varying wealth, but by far the greater number of owners of the means of production". This broader distribution does not extend to all property, but only to productive property; that is, that property which produces wealth, namely, the things needed for man to survive. It includes land, tools, and so on. Distributism allows for society to have public goods such as parks and transit systems. Distributists accept that wage labor will remain a small part of the economy, with small business owners hiring employees, usually young, inexperienced people.

Guild system

The kind of economic order envisaged by the early distributist thinkers would involve the return to some sort of guild system. The present existence of labor unions does not constitute a realization of this facet of distributist economic order, as labour unions are organized along class lines to promote class interests and frequently class struggle, whereas guilds are mixed class syndicates composed of both employers and employees cooperating for mutual benefit, thereby promoting class collaboration. This doesn't suggest that distributists are against trade unions though.

Banks

Distributism favors the dissolution of the private banking system in favor of financial cooperatives and mutuals such as credit unions, building societies, mutual banks and friendly societies. Distributists disagree with the profit-making basis in charging interest to suit the interests of external investors. Dorothy Day, for example, suggested abolishing legal enforcement of interest-rate contracts (usury) issued by private banks. It would not entail nationalization but could involve government involvement of some sort. This can also involve favoring the dissolution of other private financial intermediaries such as insurance companies and industry funds.

Antitrust legislation

Distributism appears to have one of its greatest influences in antitrust legislation in America and Europe designed to break up monopolies and excessive concentration of market power in one or only a few companies, trusts, interests, or cartels. Embodying the philosophy explained by Chesterton, above, that too much capitalism means too few capitalists, not too many, America's extensive system of antitrust legislation seeks to prevent the concentration of market power in a given industry into too few hands. Requiring that no company gain too great a share of any market is an example of how distributism has found its way into government policy. The assumption behind this legislation is the idea that having economic activity decentralized among many different industry participants is better for the economy than having one or a few large players in an industry. Note that antitrust regulation does take into account cases when only large companies are viable because of the nature of an industry, as in the case of natural monopolies like electricity distribution. It also accepts that mergers and acquisitions may improve consumer welfare; however, it generally prefers more economic agents to fewer, as this generally improves competition.

Social credit

Social credit is an interdisciplinary distributive philosophy developed by C. H. Douglas (1879–1952), a British engineer, who wrote a book by that name in 1924. It encompasses the fields of economics, political science, history, accounting, and physics. Its policies are designed, according to Douglas, to disperse economic and political power to individuals.

Redistribution of wealth and productive assets

Distributism requires either direct or indirect distribution of the means of production (productive assets)⁠—in some ideological circles including the redistribution of wealth—to a wide portion of society instead of concentrating it in the hands of a minority of wealthy elites (as seen in its criticism of certain varieties of capitalism) or the hands of the state (as seen in its criticism of certain varieties of communism and socialism). More capitalist-oriented supporters support a distributism-influenced social capitalism (also known as social market economy), while more socialist-oriented supporters support a distributism-influenced libertarian socialism. Examples of methods of distributism include: direct productive property redistribution, taxation of excessive ownership of property, and small-business subsidization.

Social theory

G. K. Chesterton considered one's home and family as the centerpiece of society. He recognized the family unit and home as centerpieces of living and believed that therefore every man should have their own property and home to enable one to raise and support his family. Distributists recognize that strengthening and protecting the family requires that society be nurturing. Many proponents of distributism favor enabling the flourishing of family owned businesses as a central aim at promoting the family unit.

Subsidiarity

Distributism puts great emphasis on the principle of subsidiarity. This principle holds that no larger unit (whether social, economic, or political) should perform a function which can be performed by a smaller unit. In Quadragesimo anno, Pope Pius XI provided the classical statement of the principle: "Just as it is gravely wrong to take from individuals what they can accomplish by their own initiative and industry and give it to the community, so also it is an injustice and at the same time a grave evil and disturbance of right order to assign to a greater and higher association what lesser and subordinate organizations can do". Thus, any activity of production (which distributism holds to be the most important part of any economy) ought to be performed by the smallest possible unit. This helps support distributism's argument that smaller units, families if possible, ought to be in control of the means of production, rather than the large units typical of modern economies.

In Quadragesimo anno, Pope Pius XI further stated that "every social activity ought of its very nature to furnish help to the members of the body social, and never destroy and absorb them". To prevent large private organizations from thus dominating the body politic, distributism applies this principle of subsidiarity to economic as well as to social and political action.

Social security

Distributists believe in a society that is as self-reliant as possible. Some may advocate that families and charitable organisations ought to provide an alternative to social security as a means of advancing the principles of subsidiary. However, many distributists reject the idea of eliminating social security.

Distributists such as Dorothy Day did not favour social security when it was introduced by the United States government. This rejection of the new program was due to the direct influence of the ideas of Hilaire Belloc over American distributists.

The Democratic Labour Party of Australia espouses distributism and does not hold the view of favouring the elimination of social security who for instance wish to "[r]aise the level of student income support payments to the Henderson poverty line".

The American Solidarity Party has a platform of favouring an adequate social security system, whereby they state: "We advocate for social safety nets that adequately provide for the material needs of the most vulnerable in society".

Society of artisans

Distributism promotes a society of artisans and culture. This is influenced by an emphasis on small business, promotion of local culture, and favoring of small production over capitalistic or socialist mass production. A society of artisans promotes the distributist ideal of the unification of capital, ownership, and production rather than what distributism sees as an alienation of man from work.

This suggests that distributism necessarily favours a technological 'regression' to a pre-Industrial Revolution lifestyle, given that it explictly favours the craftsman over factories and other industrial centers. Products such as food and clothing would be preferably returned to local producers and artisans instead of being mass-produced nationally or overseas.

Geopolitical theory

Political order

Distributism does not favor one political order over another (political accidentalism). While some distributists such as Dorothy Day have been anarchists, it should be remembered that most Chestertonian distributists are opposed to the mere concept of anarchism. Chesterton thought that distributism would benefit from the discipline that theoretical analysis imposes, and that distributism is best seen as a widely encompassing concept inside of which any number of interpretations and perspectives can fit. This concept should fit in a political system broadly characterized by widespread ownership of productive property.

Political parties

In the United States, the American Solidarity Party generally adheres to Distributist principles as its economic model. The Brazilian political party, Humanist Party of Solidarity is a distributist party, and distributism has influenced Christian Democratic parties in Continental Europe, as well as the National Distributist Party in England, and the Democratic Labour Party in Australia. Ross Douthat and Reihan Salam view their Grand New Party, a roadmap for revising the Republican Party in the United States, as "a book written in the distributist tradition". The Pirate Party of Romania is also considered to be a distributist party.

War

Distributists usually use just war theory in determining whether a war should be fought or not. Historical positions of distributist thinkers provide insight into a distributist position on war. Both Belloc and Chesterton opposed British imperialism in general as well as specifically opposing the Second Boer War, but they supported British involvement in World War I.

On the other hand, prominent distributists such as Dorothy Day and those involved in the Catholic Worker Movement were/are strict pacifists, even to the point of condemning involvement in World War II at much personal cost.

Distributism is known to have had an influence on the economist E. F. Schumacher,[60] a convert to Catholicism.

Mondragon Corporation

The Mondragon Corporation, based in the Basque Country in a region of Spain and France, was founded by a Catholic priest, Father José María Arizmendiarrieta, who seems to have been influenced by the same Catholic social and economic teachings that inspired Belloc, Chesterton, Father Vincent McNabb, and the other founders of distributism.

Guild of St Joseph and St Dominic

Distributist ideas were put into practice by The Guild of St Joseph and St Dominic, a group of artists and craftsmen who established a community in Ditchling, Sussex, England, in 1920, with the motto "Men rich in virtue studying beautifulness living in peace in their houses". The guild sought to recreate an idealised medieval lifestyle in the manner of the Arts and Crafts Movement. It survived almost 70 years until 1989.

Big Society

The Big Society was the flagship policy idea of the 2010 UK Conservative Party general election manifesto. Some distributists claim that the rhetorical marketing of this policy was influenced by aphorisms of the distributist ideology and promotes distributism. It purportedly formed a part of the legislative programme of the Conservative – Liberal Democrat Coalition Agreement. The stated aim was "to create a climate that empowers local people and communities, building a big society that will 'take power away from politicians and give it to people.'" The idea of the Big Society was suggested by Steve Hilton, who worked as director of strategy for David Cameron during the Coalition government before moving on to live and work in California. Big Society gradually declined as an instrument of government policy over the course of the 2010–2015 government.

What is the above, but documentation of a Roman Catholic created, inspired, financed, and promoted alternative to all other forms of government which already existed when created, and have developed since. Which the Catholic Church, her members and those of the same political mind, seek to establish by subversion of existing governments from within. The existence of Roman Catholicism within any nation, is the existence of a hostile political entity within, seeking to overthrow all outside of her own political agenda from within. She spreads her wine throughout the world through her large number of adherents, which she also legally or illegally migrates into nations she intends to conquer. Which would and certainly has been Protestant nations in particular, along with everyone else eventually. Therefore is and has our border been as wide open as possible, for as long as possible, to facilitate the same.

Until greater progress is made in developing widely accessible sources of renewable energy, it is legitimate to choose the less harmful alternative or to find short-term solutions."


However, it's not just religious organizations that are being pressured to adopt the climate change policies contained within Laudato Si'. Many governments are adopting climate change initiatives that are in harmony with the spirit of Laudato Si'. 193 nations have already adopted the Paris Climate Agreement that came out in 2015, the same year Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si' was published.

In our society, there is an agenda that is developing. The message of the Pope is reaching an increasing number of countries, organizations, and people. In fact, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops urged members of Congress in a letter sent just last month to enact a $555 billion federal spending measure to tackle climate change. The letter said, in part:

"This is a critical moment to pass climate legislation if the United States is to meet Paris Agreement emissions reduction goals, and I once again ask you to work toward policies that will help promote care for creation and those on the margins of society, respecting the rights and dignity of every human life."

By urging the rulers of the earth (Revelation 17:12, 13) to support his Laudato Si' climate change encyclical, Pope Francis is carrying out his prophetic role. The goal is to eventually compel (Revelation 13:12) the various world leaders to take action and enact religious worship during the mark of the beast crisis. The Vatican and the United States, the final two major political and religious powers, are shown to have a very close working relationship in the book of Revelation. The Sunday rest clause in Laudato Si' (section #237) and this church/state union embody the end-time prophetic conditions that the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy have given us. In response to Rome's command, the United States will soon carry out the following actions as we enter this final crisis:

"And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed." Revelation 13:12.

Do you think there are any other churches afforded this same privilege of advisory panels to the President of the United States? It seems their concerns about the Supreme Court were considered and honored by Trump, by him selecting three Catholic justices for that job. Bringing the total to 7 out of nine members being Catholic. This is certainly not all Trump did for the RC while in office.

That Supreme Court has now overturned Roe vs. Wade in line with Catholic teaching which most Christians tend to agree with. They have also trashed Trumps stay in Mexico policy in line with Catholic social teaching, which most conservative Christians disagree with. This includes many Catholic conservatives. Nevertheless, church teaching is apparently more important for this Supreme Court to uphold, than the views of conservative Christians. Lest people forget, the papacy is not just a religion, it is a foreign political state. One with very different ideas than that of our founding fathers.

Not surprising that Italy is going the way of China with social scoring. The Vatican praises China as a good example nearest its own vision of government fulfilled social justice. The video does state that this trend started at Rome. If this phenomena is going to travel the same course of the covid-19 outbreak, it ought to arrive in New York next. To begin with, fallen, sinful humans cannot save anyone, let alone the entire planet. Only Christ is the Saviour of the world, and only He can save our lives and His creation. In fact, we are told that every person's very own breath is in His hands:

"But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Second, Laudato Si' is more than just providing clean air and water. It's much more than that. It is clear that Laudato Si' is determined to unite the world by changing our economic, religious, and political structures. This is happening right now in front of our eyes. You cannot escape this reality.

Everyone must embrace the globalist, elitist ideology. Even as we write this, the policies of Laudato Si' are being widely agitated. Legislators and governments are under intense pressure to change their views on a variety of policies. If you adhere to the guidelines and follow the rules established by the powers that be, your life will be easier and you will have the support of the entire world. If you do not do what is required, they (WEF, UN, Vatican, and other global elitists) will destroy your economies, countries, and the free will of the people. We saw a glimpse of this during the Covid crisis. That is the message of Laudato Si'. Take note of the following passages from the Pope's encyclical:

"Because the enforcement of laws is at times inadequate due to corruption, public pressure has to be exerted in order to bring about decisive political action. Society, through non-governmental organizations and intermediate groups, must put pressure on governments to develop more rigorous regulations, procedures and controls." (Laudato Si' 179)

"On Sunday, our participation in the Eucharist has special importance. Sunday, like the Jewish Sabbath, is meant to be a day which heals our relationships with God, with ourselves, with others and with the world. Laudato Si' calls for global unity and cooperation. It encourages all religious faiths and churches, including Protestantism, to join Rome and work together to solve the world's problems. It advocates for a global political structure with the teeth to impose sanctions. It encourages us to learn from one another, which implies that we must learn from Rome. And it mentions Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, three times, calling this day the true day of rest. Footnote #168 in Laudato Si' #237 makes reference to a quote about "man's eternal rest." This footnote refers to a statement from the Catholic Catechism about Sunday being the Lord's day. The Catholic Catechism appears thirteen times in Laudato Si'.

This is Pope Francis' economy, and it is based on the Roman Catholic Catechism. Laudato Si' will unite the kings of the earth, merchants, and daughters (churches), transforming the world in preparation for the mark of the beast. According to Revelation 13, a religious power will play a role in controlling and uniting worship, economics, and political power:

"And power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." Revelation 13:7.

"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." Revelation 13:17.

In today's world, there is just one religious force aiming to form a new alliance among economists, bankers, business executives, CEOs, heads of state, and religious organizations. In this worldwide drive to construct his world political, religious, and economic authority, Pope Francis is leading the way.

Since the time of Karl Marx, the left has been at war with religion — which the founder of communism called the "opium of the people."  As the Democrats drift further left, they've come to embrace this worldview.  Gone is the party of Presidents John F. Kennedy and Franklin Roosevelt, who prayed on the eve of D-Day:

What is it about traditional religion that drives the left nuts?

1. It doesn't like hard and fast rules—you know, the Commandments thing.  Worse, these Ten Commandments are often at odds with its causes, including the transgender issue ("Male and female he created them.") and same-sex relations.  Recently on "The View," Joy Behar said she didn't think the Bible mentions homosexuality.  She probably also doesn't think the Declaration of Independence has anything to say about natural rights.

2. It hates America.  It believes our history can be reduced to a squalid chronicle of the murder of American Indians, slavery, sweatshops and imperialism.  So-called progressives understand enough history to know that this nation was founded by Christians, including Pilgrims, Puritans, Quakers and others.  If America is evil, then Christianity must be too.

3. Religion makes conservatives.  According to Pew Research, in the 2020 election, among all voters who attend religious services monthly or more often, 59% voted for former President Donald Trump.  But President Biden got 71% of the vote of the unaffiliated.  It's in the interest of the Democratic Party to discourage religious practice.  That's why at the height of the COVID-19 panic, then-New York Mayor Bill De Blasio put impossible restrictions on houses of worship, far exceeding those required for other indoor spaces. 

4. It believes religion leads to war, exploitation and mass murder, Still, in the 20th century, more people were killed in the name of secularisms than in all of the religious wars in history — from Stalin's purges to Mao's Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution, to Nazism's death camps and Pol Pot's killing fields.  Like any other ideal, religion can be corrupted.  Yet under religion, art and science flourished. faithful believers kept learning alive during the Dark Ages.  Besides cathedrals, believers built hospitals and endowed universities.  Harvard started as a seminary for Puritan clergy.  Both Judaism and Christianity inspired a passion for helping the poor and curing the sick.  The masterpieces that characterized the Renaissance started as religious art that adorned altars.

5. Religion is anti-science — oh, you mean like global warming and overpopulation, part of the left's catechism?  Scientists from Lavoisier to Einstein were either normative Christians or inspired by the vision of a force in the universe beyond the reckoning of man.  Einstein saw the workings of God in nature.  "There are two ways to live your life," Einstein said.  "One is as though nothing is a miracle.  The other is as though everything is a miracle."

Leftists' war on God says less about him than it does about them.  They are driven by a lust for control and a belief that mankind is infinitely malleable, as long as enough force is applied.

Their real problem with God?  They want his job.

She is the only one, the chosen of her who bore her,' and she represents one sole mystical body whose Head is Christ and the head of Christ is God [1 Cor 11:3]. In her then is one Lord, one faith, one baptism [Eph 4:5]. There had been at the time of the deluge only one ark of Noah, prefiguring the one Church, which ark, having been finished to a single cubit, had only one pilot and guide, i.e., Noah, and we read that, outside of this ark, all that subsisted on the earth was destroyed.
We venerate this Church as one, the Lord having said by the mouth of the prophet: 'Deliver, O God, my soul from the sword and my only one from the hand of the dog.' [Ps 21:20] He has prayed for his soul, that is for himself, heart and body; and this body, that is to say, the Church, He has called one because of the unity of the Spouse, of the faith, of the sacraments, and of the charity of the Church. This is the tunic of the Lord, the seamless tunic, which was not rent but which was cast by lot [Jn 19:23- 24]. Therefore, of the one and only Church there is one body and one head, not two heads like a monster; that is, Christ and the Vicar of Christ, Peter and the successor of Peter, since the Lord speaking to Peter Himself said: 'Feed my sheep' [Jn 21:17], meaning, my sheep in general, not these, nor those in particular, whence we understand that He entrusted all to him [Peter]. Therefore, if the Greeks or others should say that they are not confided to Peter and to his successors, they must confess not being the sheep of Christ, since Our Lord says in John 'there is one sheepfold and one shepherd.' We are informed by the texts of the gospels that in this Church and in its power are two swords; namely, the spiritual and the temporal. For when the Apostles say: 'Behold, here are two swords' [Lk 22:38] that is to say, in the Church, since the Apostles were speaking, the Lord did not reply that there were too many, but sufficient. Certainly the one who denies that the temporal sword is in the power of Peter has not listened well to the word of the Lord commanding: 'Put up thy sword into thy scabbard' [Mt 26:52]. Both, therefore, are in the power of the Church, that is to say, the spiritual and the material sword, but the former is to be administered for the Church but the latter by the Church; the former in the hands of the priest; the latter by the hands of kings and soldiers, but at the will and sufferance of the priest.
However, one sword ought to be subordinated to the other and temporal authority, subjected to spiritual power. For since the Apostle said: 'There is no power except from God and the things that are, are ordained of God' [Rom 13:1-2], but they would not be ordained if one sword were not subordinated to the other and if the inferior one, as it were, were not led upwards by the other.
For, according to the Blessed Dionysius, it is a law of the divinity that the lowest things reach the highest place by intermediaries. Then, according to the order of the universe, all things are not led back to order equally and immediately, but the lowest by the intermediary, and the inferior by the superior. Hence we must recognize the more clearly that spiritual power surpasses in dignity and in nobility any temporal power whatever, as spiritual things surpass the temporal. This we see very clearly also by the payment, benediction, and consecration of the tithes, but the acceptance of power itself and by the government even of things. For with truth as our witness, it belongs to spiritual power to establish the terrestrial power and to pass judgement if it has not been good. Thus is accomplished the prophecy of Jeremias concerning the Church and the ecclesiastical power: 'Behold to-day I have placed you over nations, and over kingdoms' and the rest. Therefore, if the terrestrial power err, it will be judged by the spiritual power; but if a minor spiritual power err, it will be judged by a superior spiritual power; but if the highest power of all err, it can be judged only by God, and not by man, according to the testimony of the Apostle: 'The spiritual man judgeth of all things and he himself is judged by no man' [1 Cor 2:15]. This authority, however, (though it has been given to man and is exercised by man), is not human but rather divine, granted to Peter by a divine word and reaffirmed to him (Peter) and his successors by the One Whom Peter confessed, the Lord saying to Peter himself, 'Whatsoever you shall bind on earth, shall be bound also in Heaven' etc., [Mt 16:19]. Therefore whoever resists this power thus ordained by God, resists the ordinance of God [Rom 13:2], unless he invent like Manicheus two beginnings, which is false and judged by us heretical, since according to the testimony of Moses, it is not in the beginnings but in the beginning that God created heaven and earth [Gen 1:1]. Furthermore, we declare, we proclaim, we define that it is absolutely necessary for salvation that every human creature be subject to the Roman Pontiff.

Sept 14 (Reuters) - Yeshiva University cannot bar a LGBT student club after the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to block a judge's ruling ordering the Jewish school in New York City to officially recognize the group.

The justices, in a 5-4 decision, declined to put on hold a state court ruling that a city anti-discrimination law required Yeshiva University to recognize Y.U. Pride Alliance as a student club while the school pursues an appeal in a lower court.

The decision appeared to direct the case back to the state court system. "The application is denied because it appears that applicants have at least two further avenues for expedited or interim state court relief," the decision said.

Conservative Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett dissented. Liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor had temporarily blocked the judge's order last Friday while the justices considered the university's request.

Eric Baxter, a lawyer with the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty conservative legal group representing the school, emphasized that if the state courts do not provide relief, "they can return to the Supreme Court to seek its protection again. We will follow the court's instruction."

Katie Rosenfeld, a lawyer for Y.U. Pride Alliance, called the decision a "victory for Yeshiva University students who are simply seeking basic rights that are uncontested at peer universities."

"At the end of the day, Yeshiva University students will have a club for peer support this year, and the sky is not going to fall down," Rosenfeld added.

The group formed unofficially in 2018 but Yeshiva determined that granting it official status would be "inconsistent with the school's Torah values and the religious environment it seeks to maintain."

The dispute hinges in part on whether Yeshiva is a "religious corporation" and therefore exempt from the New York City Human Rights Law, which bans discrimination by a place or provider of public accommodation.

New York state judge Lynn Kotler in June determined that the school's primary purpose is education, not religious worship, and it is subject to anti-discrimination law. Kotler also rejected the university's argument that forcing it to recognize the club would violate its religious freedom protected under the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment.

In his dissent on Wednesday, Alito wrote, "The First Amendment guarantees the right to the free exercise of religion, and if that provision means anything, it prohibits a state from enforcing its own preferred interpretation of Holy Scripture. Yet that is exactly what New York has done in this case, and it is disappointing that a majority of this court refuses to provide relief."

After higher state courts in August refused to stay the judge's ruling, Yeshiva turned to the U.S. Supreme Court.

"As a deeply religious Jewish university, Yeshiva cannot comply with that order because doing so would violate its sincere religious beliefs about how to form its undergraduate students in Torah values," the school told the Supreme Court.

The Modern Orthodox Jewish university, based in Manhattan, has roughly 6,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs. Among the school's values, according to its website, are believing in "the infinite worth of each and every human being" and "the responsibility to reach out to others in compassion."

Powered by its increasingly assertive conservative justices, the U.S. Supreme Court in recent years has expanded religious rights while narrowing the separation between church and state.

In its upcoming term, which begins on Oct. 3, the court will decide a major new legal fight pitting religious liberty against LGBT rights involving an evangelical Christian web designer's free speech claim that she cannot be forced under a Colorado anti-discrimination law to produce websites for same-sex marriages.

So much for a Catholic majority Supreme Court upholding religious rights for Jews in any case. I wonder how this would have worked out if it was a Muslim school?

On September 14, 2022, Pope Francis spoke at the opening of the 7th Congress of Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. During this international ecumenical event, the Pope spoke about a fraternity that unites us all as the "children of the same Heaven." In a speech to political and religious figures, Pope Francis declared that it was time to "consign to the history books" the fundamentalist ideas that "defile and corrupt every creed." Fundamentalism basically refers to a strict adherence to a set of unchanging beliefs. The Pope declared that it was time to eradicate fundamentalism and remove its corrupting influence in favor of ecumenical fraternity. The Pope said:

"Dear brothers and sisters! Let me address you in this direct and familiar way, as brothers and sisters. For that is how I would like to greet all of you – religious leaders and authorities, members of the diplomatic corps and of international organizations, representatives of academic and cultural institutions of civil society and various nongovernmental organizations – in the name of the fraternity that unites us as children of the same Heaven." "The religions remind us that we are creatures; we are not omnipotent, but men and women journeying towards the same heavenly goal. Our shared nature as creatures thus gives rise to a common bond, an authentic fraternity. It makes us realize that the meaning of life cannot be reduced to our own individual interests, but is deeply linked to the fraternity that is part of our identity. We mature only with others and thanks to others. It is time to realize that the fundamentalism defiles and corrupts every creed; time for open and compassionate hearts. According to Pope Francis, fundamentalism must be eliminated because it is a destabilizing force in society. The Pope says that fundamentalism breeds distrust and contempt for religion. Pope Francis didn't just travel to Kazakhstan to speak about climate change, unity, and peace. He is actively urging religious and political authorities to eradicate fundamentalism and replace it with "authentic fraternity" (ecumenism). Pope Francis is a religious authority who is speaking like a dragon.

He has the appearance of gentleness about him, but his voice betrays him because he is possessed by a dragon-like spirit within him. This is the voice of terror that will one day, very soon, call for the persecution and killing of the true followers of Jesus. Professing to be the representative of Christ, the Pope calls for us to abandon the unchanging, fundamental teachings of Christ and embrace his universal fraternity.

Pope Francis is calling for a brotherhood that unites all the religions. All the different religions—Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, Shinto, and every other belief system—have value, according to the Pope. The only ones that must be eliminated are those fundamental, non-conforming, non-ecumenical ones that won't embrace the Pope's universal order. But the Pope is confused because the phrase "brotherhood" cannot be used with those who are not baptized and who have not embraced the teaching of Christ (Matthew 28:19, 20). This is part of the Great Gospel Commission given to the Christian Church. But the Pope rejects this. In the closing words of his speech, he says that we must all "firmly maintain our own identities, open to the courage of otherness and to fraternal encounter. Only in this way, along this path, in these dark times in which we live, will we be able to radiate the light of our Creator." [1]

This means that all other religions must remain in error and in darkness. Therefore, we should refrain from attempting to persuade Catholics, Buddhists, or Pagans to accept God's final warning found in Revelation 14. The Pope's lengthy speech does not even contain the names Jesus or Christ. How can Pope Francis claim to be the Vicar of Christ and not mention Christ even once? If this is not apostasy, I don't know what is. This is what the devil's ecumenical movement causes you to do: abandon the faith and embrace the doctrines of devils (1 Timothy 4:1). As you can see, Pope Francis thinks that the troublemakers of today are the evil Christian fundamentalists who are attempting to proselytize and convert the whole world. Instead, the Pope wants us to all come together to learn from Muhammad, Buddha, Krishna, and Mother Earth.

Where are the true and faithful Seventh-day Adventist watchmen who will denounce this disastrous universal fraternity? Where are the voices in the church warning that joining this movement will ruin people's souls? Where are the pastors and other religious leaders who can correct the Pope by showing him his error? The Pope is redefining the Gospel and carrying out the work of the Antichrist. Will every Christian blindly follow the Pope? Will they embrace his words and compromise the true faith? True, faithful, Bible-believing Christians can never accept the errors of Pope Francis.

As we look at the conditions of the world and as we study the pages of God's Word regarding the signs of the times, we can see clearly that Jesus is coming soon and time is about to run out! On one side, the world is in chaos. Daily, we see calamities; both natural and man-made disasters are flooding our world. On the other hand, the world religions are on the road to Rome – uniting with the great "Mystery of Iniquity." Yes, time is running out and Jesus is coming soon. It is during this time, specifically, that God's people are to work even more earnestly for Him.

"It is our duty, as we see the signs of approaching peril, to arouse to action. Let none sit in calm expectation of the evil, comforting themselves ... We are not doing the will of God if we sit in quietude doing nothing" (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 713).

We are to be stirred into action when we recognize the signs of the times in God's prophetic word. The final warning must always be given by God's people. By the grace and power of God, let the faithful continue to spread the Three Angels' Messages throughout the world before it is too late. As you think about what you can do in this solemn period of earth's history to advance the cause of present truth, may the Lord bless and help each of you.
