Yes, and our governments on both the federal and state levels, are ever increasingly filled with members of the Catholic denomination. JD Vance is by far the most influential, conservative Roman Catholic in the United States and has emerged as a prominent leader within the Christian conservative movement, exemplified by his active support of Project 2025, calling it an "essential weapon." [1] JD Vance also praised Kevin Roberts, President of The Heritage Foundation and architect of Project 2025, by writing the foreword in Roberts' new book. [2] Through such endorsements and his influential political role, Vance has positioned himself at the forefront of efforts to infuse government policies with Christian conservative principles in America, reflecting the strategic objectives of Project 2025.

And despite his differences with Pope Francis, Vance continues to recognize the current Papacy as the true authority of the Church and remains united with him in faith—whom he called the "Holy Father." Tragically, this is a title that belongs only to God. The Bible makes it clear that God alone is our Father, as Jesus Himself teaches in Matthew 23:9: "And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven." This verse emphasizes that ultimately all authority praise belongs solely to God. The use of the title "Holy Father" for any man, including the Pope, contradicts this biblical teaching. Scripture calls believers to honor and follow God's word above human traditions, ensuring that reverence is given only to the One who is truly sovereign.

This is the problem with supposed Roman Catholic Conservatism, which JD Vance pretty much represents. They tout conservatism, but continue to refer to communist and socialist leaning, totally woke supporting, globalist and mass migration facilitating, wealth redistribution managing, equity over equality pushing, climate change and vaccine mandating pushing and enforcer popes, as Holy Fathers. A blasphemous reference at best. This is not to mention the intended political implementation of all of the above according Roman Catholic Social Doctrine as defined by this pope. Or the dangerous Catholic doctrines such as seeking council and intercession from the dead, which this pope and all others recommend. All representing major ill effects upon this or any other nation adopting such.

Welcome to the modern Romanized world. As our nation is continually and increasingly sucked into Roman Catholicism via the supposed battle between "liberal" or "conservative" Roman Catholics. Who yet all acknowledge mere men of either radical liberal or conservative views, as Holy Fathers.

According to an article published by The Gateway Pundit on February 25, 2025, Pope Francis has strategically appointed a significant number of cardinals who align with his progressive vision for the Catholic Church, effectively stacking the College of Cardinals to ensure that his successor continues his left-leaning agenda. The article says that Pope Francis has effectively shifted the ideological balance of the voting body that will elect the next Pope through the record number of cardinals he has appointed. Many of his appointees share his views on social and theological issues, ensuring that when the time comes to choose his successor, the majority of voting cardinals will be inclined to elect someone who will carry forward Francis' progressive legacy, making it highly unlikely that a conservative Pope will reclaim the Papacy in the immediate future.

The Gateway Pundit published the following:

• "Out of 138 Cardinals eligible to vote for the next Pope – under the age of 80 – no less than 110 were appointed by Pope Francis – about 80 percent."

• "With his appointments, he wants to ensure a process that produces a Pope that the Church needs for these times."

• "With so many members of the College of Cardinals appointed by him, 'progressives' are expected to easily have the numbers to overcome the conservatives."

According to the book Great Controversy, the papacy's ultimate goal remains unchanged, regardless of who gets elected next—and that mission is to regain religious and political authority on a global scale and influence the nations, especially the United States, to enforce its doctrines, particularly Sunday observance. While different popes may adopt varying strategies—some emphasizing ecumenism, others reinforcing traditionalism—the underlying mission of the Vatican is steady and unwavering.

"The Roman Church is far-reaching in her plans and modes of operation. She is employing every device to extend her influence and increase her power in preparation for a fierce and determined conflict to regain control of the world, to re-establish persecution, and to undo all that Protestantism has done. Catholicism is gaining ground upon every side" (Great Controversy, p. 565).

Here we are told that the Papacy is seeking to regain the temporal power and influence it held during the Middle Ages. Rome's ultimate goal is to unite church and state under its authority by enforcing religious observance through civil power. Sister White also warns that the papacy aims to undermine religious freedom, impose its doctrines—especially Sunday worship over the biblical Sabbath—and eventually lead the world into a system of spiritual deception that opposes God's truth.

"The dignitaries of church and state will unite to bribe, persuade, or compel all classes to honor the Sunday. The lack of divine authority will be supplied by oppressive enactments. Political corruption is destroying love of justice and regard for truth; and even in free America, rulers and legislators, in order to secure public favor, will yield to the popular demand for a law enforcing Sunday observance" (Great Controversy, p. 592).

This is the strategy that the Vatican is working on: Protestant America will form an image of the beast and will use its economic and political strength to impose the worship of the papacy, and all the world will get on board.

"The United States shall enforce Sunday observance, which Rome claims as the special acknowledgment of her supremacy. But in this homage to the papacy the United States will not be alone. The influence of Rome in the countries that once acknowledged her dominion is still far from being destroyed ... In both the Old and the New World, the papacy will receive homage in the honor paid to the Sunday institution, that rests solely upon the authority of the Roman Church" (Great Controversy, p. 578).

Rome's influence is steadily strengthening across the world, particularly in American politics. Through its many agents, including Catholic and Evangelical politicians, the Papacy is subtly advancing its agenda, working to unite church and state under its moral authority. In the United States, Protestant churches and political leaders are increasingly aligning with the Catholic model of church-state partnerships on issues like prayer in public schools, family values, supporting Christian policies, and Sunday observance.

As Ellen G. White warned, this growing religious awakening in our political systems is leading toward a time when Rome's true purposes will be revealed—when laws enforcing its doctrines, especially Sunday sacredness, will be enacted under the guise of saving our Christian society, thus fulfilling prophecy and bringing the final crisis upon God's faithful people.

Without question, the pendulum of Hegelian Dialectic reasoning, cause, and effect is swinging rapidly right. This is of course in reaction to the radical left swing of the Biden Presidency and administration. While it is the definite intention of the evil one and his minions to swing either side far enough to drop the pendulum down into its death stroke for the guaranteed freedoms and liberties our nation and Constitution has represented, it should be the definite purpose of God's true church and people to prevent these diabolical designs. They should occupy and or fully support neither the right nor left. Rather occupying a middle ground of common sense and above all biblically inspired and principled government, which upholds the bibles highest moral standards, yet fully embraces the toleration of the many differing views and beliefs of humanity. As our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ manifested when here as one of us, as our perfect example.

This that neither Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Atheists, or what have you, need ever fear persecution for their beliefs and or practices. Nor either be treated by government with undue favor unto the same results. If God believed in any method of conversion other than personal conviction and choice, all would agree and worship Him in truth right this very moment, or else. How dare therefore, any person, institution, religion, or government of mere men, presume this prerogative which belongs to God alone, which He Himself has determined is not acceptable. Antichrist alone will tread this dangerous soul damning path.

The left was pushing to far into the area of personal choice and conscience even with legislation, censorship, canceling, law suits, and unethical if not downright criminal financial support of their own agendas with tax payers monies. Secular Humanism is a faith choice, just like all the other religious faiths among us. Which as such, cannot be supported by government as it has been for quite some time now, according to our founding Declaration of Independence and Constitution. Therefore also is it problematic, to see Roman Catholic teaching and practice performed, and also therefore taught within the White House itself. Especially with the infamous history that is attached to that specific religion concerning governmental support, intolerance, abuse, persecution, and what have you. Which mindset crept into Protestant nations as well. Both of the abuses of which were addressed, and effectively ended in this once predominantly Protestant nation. As an extension of biblical and Protestant teaching and tolerance.

Let us all and especially God's very own, wisely consider and seek to remind all today of the important lessons of history addressed in the following quote of one of our founding fathers.

Anytime religious leaders seek to influence public policy and bring our laws in line with the church's teaching, this act is just another attempt to unite church and state.

Can we not grasp the magnitude of what is happening? The Jesuits are collaborating with the senior Catholic leadership in America, and together, they are openly and publicly supporting the idea of transforming Protestant America into an image of the Papal hierarchy. This is something that aligns with the Christian nationalist agenda. There is a growing movement in which both Protestants and Catholics are working on a plan to advance legislation in America to promote Christian values in society. This will lead to the creation of the image of the beast when they cross the line and impose Sunday rest on society, paving the way for the mark of the beast crisis.

The idea that Christians should pray to the saints, asking for their intercession before God, believing they can advocate for us, is a custom originating in Rome. President Donald Trump is recognizing the veneration of human traditions above the commandments of God. Protestant America is exalting the traditions of the papacy through the Office of the U.S. presidency.

Vice President JD Vance celebrated Saint Patrick's Day by bringing a Dominican priest into the White House briefing room, located inside the West Wing of the White House, near the Oval Office. This is where the president and his secretary hold briefings to communicate about the US government's policies and decisions. It is obvious that Roman Catholicism has strong ties to the highest levels of American politics, not by accident, but rather as a sign of Rome's growing influence.

From the presence of Catholic justices shaping the Supreme Court to the increasing number of Catholic politicians in key government positions—including the vice president, cabinet officials, and members of Congress—Rome's sway over Protestant American policy and governance is unmistakable. This influence extends beyond mere religious affiliation or association but will also be manifest when our nation embarks on an alliance with the Vatican to promote Sunday sacredness. As Protestant America seeks to restore Christianity through the union of church and state, this will only catapult Rome's prestige and power. We are told that as Protestants work to steer the nation into an image of the beast, this will only bring reverence and power to the papacy in fulfillment of a bigger prophetic plan:

US Catholic Bishops Support a Supreme Court Lawsuit that would Establish the Nation's First Publicly Funded Catholic Indoctrination Charter School

While many states are setting aside public funds for parents wanting to send their children to private Christian schools, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops is supporting a lawsuit currently before the US Supreme Court in which a Catholic school, being run by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and Tulsa, is seeking direct government funding for religious education. If successful, this would be the first religious charter school in the country, and this case will set a significant national precedent for religious schools, giving them the same charter status and funding as regular public schools. This ruling will force taxpayers to fund Catholic and other Christian education nationwide.

This case would fundamentally change American society as it would remove the US Constitution's ban on the "establishment of religion" by the government. This would essentially convert our public schools into Sunday Catholic schools if the US Supreme Court, which has a Catholic majority, permits this.

Catholic News Agency reported the following on March 15, 2025:

• "The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is backing an Oklahoma Catholic school's bid before the U.S. Supreme Court to become the first religious charter school in the country."

• "St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School has been battling since 2023 to receive official status as a charter school in Oklahoma."

• "A state 'cannot disqualify some private schools' from being subsidized 'solely because they are religious,' the U.S. bishops wrote."

• "Two dozen amicus briefs were filed at the Supreme Court in support of the Catholic charter school, including from the U.S. Solicitor General's Office and the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America."

• "Also backing the school were a dozen states including Ohio, Texas, South Carolina, and Kansas, who argued in a brief that they have a compelling interest in expanding educational opportunities for their citizens."

• "Oral arguments over the case will be heard at the Supreme Court on April 30."

If the Catholic-led U.S. Supreme Court rules that taxpayer money can directly fund religious education, this would basically entangle the state with the church, effectively endorsing and promoting the wine of Babylon—church traditions—using public money. This would set a precedent undermining the constitutional principle of church-state separation. Additionally, such a ruling could lead to many more demands for public funding from other religious groups, forcing taxpayers to support all kinds of religious doctrines they may not agree with, which contradicts the fundamental American ideal of government neutrality in religious affairs.

While Protestant groups, particularly Evangelical Christians, have been leading efforts to unite church and state at various state levels—pushing for policies like school prayer, religious exemptions, and faith-based public funding—Catholics are not being left behind in this movement. The Catholic Church, through organizations like the US Conference of Catholic Bishops and various advocacy groups, is actively working to bring these same changes at the national level, integrating religious values into public life.

Ellen White dedicated an entire chapter in her book, The Great Controversy, in which she highlighted the work that Rome would be doing with Protestants in the last days. The chapter is called "Character and Aims of the Papacy" and reveals the following reality—clearly and unmistakably—that we can never take our eyes off of Rome, for she is the most dangerous foe to religious liberty, and the world needs to know this:

"Catholicism is gaining ground upon every side. See the increasing number of her churches and chapels in Protestant countries. Look at the popularity of her colleges and seminaries in America, so widely patronized by Protestants. Look at the growth of ritualism in England, and the frequent defections to the ranks of the Catholics. These things should awaken the anxiety of all who prize the pure principles of the gospel. Protestants have tampered with and patronized popery; they have made compromises and concessions which papists themselves are surprised to see, and fail to understand. Men are closing their eyes to the real character of Romanism, and the dangers to be apprehended from her supremacy. The people need to be aroused to resist the advances of this most dangerous foe to civil and religious liberty." (Great Controversy, pp. 565, 566).

Inspiration makes it very evident that we must "see" and "look" at how Rome has deceived Protestantism and is working to undermine our freedoms. We are also reminded that people are "closing their eyes" to "Romanism." Additionally, God states that the world must be aroused to resist Rome's policies against religious liberty. Brothers and sisters, that's what God says. Remember, it's the devil and his agents who will tell you to ignore Rome, at the very time when God is calling us to "look" and "see" what this power is doing, and more importantly, calling us to resist her advances.

We have to continue doing what God has commanded us to do. Rome's plans for the last days have been covered in detail in this chapter, and we are seeing it all come to pass. God put this chapter in Great Controversy so that people would know who the key players are and not be deceived. It is only as we are faithful to the Lord's leading that we will be safe from Satan's devices and many others will be saved by heeding the warnings.
