Just read the book of Matthew.

Consider Matthew 25:46, And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Matthew 13 also and its parables.

Daniel Marsh

take note in Matthew 25 that both Believers and Unbelievers have the same body substance.    In I Cor 15 that substance is described as indestructible.    Thus punishment or fire on an indestructible substance that can not be destroyed explains why eternal punishment has no end.    In Matthew 25:46,  if you change the meaning of eternal for punishment, then you will have to limit them meaning for eternal life to mean the same length.   If both do not mean that eternal is without end, then why even bother becoming a Christian, since life in heaven or on earth would be too short to enjoy with God.

The spiritual realm does not experience time as we know it.  "Time" is the degrading of matter.

The idea that either or both heaven and hell are abodes of a physical existence is false.

1Co 15:44  It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

1Co 15:50  I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

Time does not exist in the Spirit.  "Everlasting" is a close word similar to "Unending" but not immortal.
