2078. eschatos ►
Strong's Concordance
eschatos: last, extremedew
Original Word: ἔσχατος, η, ον
Part of Speech: Adjective
Transliteration: eschatos
Phonetic Spelling: (es'-khat-os)
Short Definition: last, at the last, finally
Definition: last, at the last, finally, till the end.
HELPS Word-studies
2078 ésxatos (from esxaton, "end, last") – properly, last, final (the furthest, extreme-end). 2078/esxatos ("future things"), the root of "eschatology" is "the study of last things." This includes future Bible prophecy, the end-times, and life after death ("the after-life").

This word occurs 53 times in the New Testament, but its most remarkable eschatological usages is found in Hebrews 1:2, 1 Peter 1:20, 1 John 2:18. During what days was Jesus manifest or revealed in the flesh and spoke to His disciples?

Doing a Greek word study leads nowhere in proving bible doctrine. I'll answer your question with the holy scriptures~Jesus was manifested in the last days~now, you tell me what does the last days mean USING the word of God. I'll help you out. There are indeed several dispensations in which God raised up certain men and revealed to them a portion of the Everlasting covenant~this gradual revelation lasted until the fulness of time should time in which the promised seed should come which as we know was Christ~we are now living in the TIMES OF CHRIST, which started at his birth and WILL LAST until he comes again as promised by himself and his apostles. So, sorry you cannot use the last day and stop at 70 A.D. claiming all has been fulfilled. The reason why the last day is applied to Christ's coming is that there are NO MORE dispensations in God's timeline for the children of men~once Christ's dispensation is fulfilled in the completion of his body, which is the church of Jesus Christ, then he shall come and this world as we know it shall end and be destroyed~ nevertheless, God's children look for a new heaven and a new earth, etc.

What does the Bible say about creation though?

Let's take a look:

Psalm 72:7

In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

Psalm 72:17

His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

Psalm 78:69

And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.

Psalm 89:36-37

His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.

It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

Psalm 93:1

The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Psalm 96:10

Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

Psalm 104:5

Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

Psalm 148:4-6

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

Ecclesiastes 1:4

One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.

And what about Genesis 8:21b, God promised to never kill all life again for the sake of man.

The church age is a world without end, Ephesians 3:21.

The increase of the kingdom of God shall never cease,  Isaiah 9:7.

In Matthew 1:17 and Hebrews 3:8-10, a biblical generation is roughly 40 years.  In that case,  Deuteronomy 7:9, will God be faithful to mankind for 40,000 years?

There are only four passages in the whole Bible that use the expression "new heavens and new earth".

Isaiah 65:17-25
Isaiah 66:19-24
2 Peter 3:10-13
Revelation 21-22

These are the only four. And apparently people will still die, people will still be sinners,  people will still be building and involved in agriculture, people will still be marrying and having children,  people will still be praying, people will still be evangelizing,  and people will still see corpses.

Genesis 8: God promised to not destroy the Earth by a flood again.

Pick your millennial beliefs from Column A or Column B, as it does not matter, because what you are describing is NOT the eternal, physical kingdom.   Satan will have no more presence; there will be no more death or disease, no more wars; Christ's physical and personal reign over his people of the consummate kingdom on the New Earth will be eternal.

You must learn to understand the difference in fulfillment and consummation.

Maybe someone else will comment on the other points.  You might want to cut down on the number of questions you raise in a single post.

It said a lot more than you did in this post and really you prove only one thing to me~you're confused. You have taken scriptures and applied them to this age when in fact they do not apply. A couple more thoughts then I must run to some meetings.
QuoteAnd what about Genesis 8:21b, God promised to never kill all life again for the sake of man.
This proves to me, that you are a novice since you cannot even take simple scriptures and make the right application to them. Genesis 8 is not saying what you want desire it say, sorry. Genesis 9:13-15, is a commentary to explain what God said in Genesis 8:9...
Quote"I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh."
The next judgment will be by FIRE.

Then we are of all men MOST MISERABLE. I'll come back Later, I must run........Let us see just how much true knowledge you have concerning this subject. IF you believe that this is speaking about our present day....then you left something out~people will still be deceived

What does Isaiah 65:20 (a child dies, metaphor for a Christian) and 66:24 (they look upon the corpses that broke the Covenant) say? Death.

What does Isaiah 65:20 and Rev.  22:15 say? Sin.  And sin also equates death too.

All these passages are describing life after New Heavens and New Earth, not before it.

New heaven and new earth is covenantal language not creation language.

This covenantal language is found in Isaiah 51:15-16, on Mt.  Sinai God planted the Heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. On Mt. Sinai.

Genesis 8:21b mentions neither flood nor fire.  But the Jewish heaven and earth (Isaiah 51:15-16) was burnt by fire and clean dissolved in 70 A.D.
