I've heard a lot of different ideas about how you know you've met your future husband or wife.  Usually you go through a lot of prayers and discernment, etc.  But in short, what are some signs that you've found your special someone?

Here's one thing I think is important:

Think of what you want to be like, as a couple, 50 years from now.

Of course you still want the be The Last Of The Red-Hot Lovers...:p

But, on a day-to-day basis, if you want to be able and quick and intuitive communicators-with-each-other, then you'll want to cultivate that as a potential couple.

As your interest in each other grows you'll see an ease of communication growing.

I am sure Mike and I would have killed each other long ago if we hadn't built up lots of bridgepoints between us on many matters.  Ya gotta be able to express yourself together.

If after careful consideration you don't see this happening, then make communication, the need for it, itself, a topic of conversation, and see what happens.

If things are still all surface, even after you've known each other a while, then mayhap s/he ain't the one for you.
