Only to those who study the Word of God with diligence, will the Holy Spirit give end time prophesy spiritual insight. And because God is the founder of all mathematics, and because most all things have been planned for specific times, and created by numbers, by weight, and by measures will we get even the smallest glimpse into the Creator's fullness and power.

Only Jehovah reigns Supreme, and who is the beginning and the end of all things. In many ways through numbers can we come to an understanding of His finished work of creation; it's completeness and harmony. Moses, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, John etc. were tools in God's hand, secretaries that wrote down exactly what they heard and saw. Many pens, many years, but one Author.

The oneness, the perfection of the numbers used in Scripture, paint for us a perfect portrait of the mind and will of God. Sixty-Six books, how many author's? about 40, how many subjects? thousands: How much time? 3500 years. No man or group of men could ever develop a numerical design that would or could cover the full scope of the universes. For a man, even a man like Einstein, the task would be impossible, unless, it had been inspired by God Himself.

It is interesting that, on average of one of every five verses contain a number. These frequently found numbers reveal the mind and divine design of the Creator.
Example, the number 5 symbolizes God's grace, goodness and favor toward men and is mentioned 318 times in Scripture.

Nine is used 49 times in scriptures and symbolizes divine completeness or conveys the meaning of finality. A woman carries her child for nine months before she delivers. 6000 years divided by 9 periods of time come to 666.666, coincidence? Maybe!

In the Bible, the number 10 is used 242 times, and the designation "10th" is used 79 times. Ten is also viewed as a complete and perfect number, so also is 3, 7 and 12.
Twelve is found in 187 places in God's word. The meaning of 12, which is considered a perfect number, symbolizes God's power and authority, as well serving as a perfect governmental foundation, it symbolizing completeness as in the nation of Israel.

Isaac's son Jacob, Jacob being his earthly name and Israel his heavenly name had twelve sons. Each represented one of the 12 tribe of Israel. Also, Ishmael, a son of Abraham by Hagar had twelve sons.

The number forty is mentioning 146 times in Scripture, the number 40 generally symbolizes a period of testing, trial or probation. During Moses' life he lived forty years in Egypt and forty years in the desert before God selected him to lead his people out of slavery. Moses was also on Mount Sinai for 40 days and nights, on two separate occasions receiving God's laws. He also sent spies, for forty days, to investigate the land God promised the Israelites as an inheritance.

Let's not forget to mention the number 666 the mark of the beast, 144,000, the numbers found in Daniel 1290, 1335 and 2300. Each when understood will carry us to the end of this age, and to two very specific times.

Perhaps I missed it, but it is interesting that you didn't mention the symbolism intrinsic to the number 1000, which can also be considered as 10 X 10 X 10.  I would add also that the number 144,000 is 12 X 12 X 1000.  It is also 12 X 12 X 10 X 10 X 10.

Thanks4WD, from past experience I have noticed people get bored when articles are to long. Could have written 5 more pages concerning numbers.
