Philadelphia against New England, not a fan of either team but I actually dislike the Patriots so any team playing them is my favorite.  ::smile::

Anyhow, watching the last few Eagles games, I noticed that quarterback Nick Foles ALWAYS thanks God first during his interviews, a very refreshing characteristic these days. Foles pubic gratitude to our Lord puts to rest any notion that the NFL and their networks squash players public accolades.

Matter of fact, the glory has spread to the entire team that regularly participates in open prayer.

Patriots are probably favored, and rightfully so. But, it's kinda funny, that my youngest son got a Philadelphia Eagles jacket/coat when he was 13 years old. It's the only thing he asked for on his birthday that year. That was 26 years ago, and he is tickled to death. Has, for some reason, always been a Eagles fan. Had his jacket cleaned and wears it everywhere. heh heh.

Good for him. Okay, that settles it, Go Eagles.  Well, actually, I pull for anyone that plays New England, with an exception of the 49ers, cannot get myself to pull for them.

I'm pulling for the whole thing to be a dud. Can't get behind anything the NFL does. They ruined a perfectly good pastime. Too bad Major League baseball couldn't hire Goodell.

One of my liberal friends.... (I use that term loosely now  rofl)... thinks I'm nuts for boycotting them but
he did send this email a little while ago.

Bud Grant  (Minn Vikings)
He's 90 now
He was on tv an it showed that he made his players stand with their helmets at their sides
We need more coaches like him

Jaime

I would rather watch a hemmorhoidectomy narrated by Nancy Pelosi than to lend any support whatsoever to the NFL.

Anyone who is on the Trump train would be wanting the Patriots to win because Trump is homies with Brady and Kraft. Belicheck is a supporter of Trump.

I guess Mommydi and Ginger Rella jumped off the Trump train.

I love the coach of the eagles' postgame remarks when he thanks his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for allowing him the opportunity. He was coaching Hi School football just a few years back. He had a plan and never deviated from it~ on three different occasions where most experienced coaches would have done it strictly the old school way. He went for it on fourth down once on his side of the fifty-yard line with six minutes to go. Wow! His guts and trust won the game for them.

Speaking of 4th down gambles, check this out from last nights game. Watch the replay carefully, it was simply amazing!

It was so great how God's name was honored by those called to the stand.  It was a good night. ::smile::

I would have visited even if it was to visit when Obama was in office.

It is the office, not the man in it.  The place, the honor itself that I would not turn down.

Me too. The moron NFL player protestors claim they are not disrespecting the veterans by kneeling during the National Anthem. That's what they are doing whether they are too dumb to realize it or not.  Same thing with visiting the Whitehouse. They DON'T get it. I KNOW they are disrespecting the veterans who have served us, I don't need their explanation to boycott the sport that makes them part of the 1% in this so called "unfair" despicable county. I would sooner have my eyes duct taped open watching a re-run fest of Rosie Odonnell in a swimsuit competition with Michael Moore as the MC. Could be worse the other way around.
