Computer Assistance / Finding P0rn on your computer?
« on: Thu Jun 15, 2017 - 13:02:52 »
I bought a used computer, so I don't know all the stuff he may have been into, and I don't want to, nor do I have the time to do a complete format of the hard drive.
My question is, is there a FREE program to detect any, and all p0rn that may be on the computer, and even any p0rn residue left over after he may have delete it?

Thank you.

General Discussion Forum / If God is loving then why.....
« on: Fri Mar 24, 2017 - 10:03:52 »
When I was a youth leader, I was asked the following question.... At the time I really did not know how to answer this, I'm still not sure if I would know how to give a good answer. Please bare in mind that I will ask the question like I was asked; not like I would ask it, cause I know that God is loving...

The question was:
If God knows the future, and if God is such a loving God, then why would He make people that He knew ahead of time would choose not to follow Him, and go to hell?

To add to this confusion is the passage of scripture that says that "Pharaoh was created for this purpose, that God could show is power threw Pharaoh!"

Just wondering, how would you answer this question?

General Discussion Forum / A good tabbed text editor - bible study
« on: Wed Jan 11, 2017 - 00:52:31 »
Hay all, just wondering if anyone has come across a good FREE text editor with tabs, but the one feature I am looking for and can't find is a ability to color the tabs. For example, inside one tab might be a list of bible promises, so I color that tab red: The next tab might be scriptures on raising children - and I would color that tab green, and so on. The reason is, as I am reading the bible and read a scripture that falls is one of the tabbed categories I can then find the right category quickly by looking at the tab color.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you.

General Discussion Forum / E-Sword or The Word...
« on: Thu Dec 15, 2016 - 00:43:40 »
Just wondering what people prefer for electronic bibles and why. I for many years was using E-Sword, in my opinion it was that best one out there with the best price. But I did not care for it as much after it got update: Then I discovered The Word; has all the modules the E-Sword has, I just like it better.

For me, the winner is... The Word!

What about you.

Ace of base is a pop music group, and I don't mind them. I do have a question for anyone who may have watched there music video "I saw a sign"

A symbol is used in that video, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it means. If it is not a good symbol, then I will remove it from my computer.

Thank you.

General Discussion Forum / Starting my own message board
« on: Mon Sep 07, 2009 - 14:20:29 »

I just need some friendly advise. (sorry if I posted in the wrong spot)

I started my own Christian message board, (my first one ever)

My question

What is the best way to get lots of people to come and start using it? It would almost seem I need lots of people at once. Because if only one person comes at a time, they will quickly get tired of the slowness of it, and leave. It will never get off the ground.

Any advice?

General Discussion Forum / An Christmas Encourage
« on: Fri Dec 12, 2008 - 17:56:16 »
Christmas is, or should be a wounderfull time of year. But for lots however, that just does not hold true.  Christmas in all it's wonder also hold the record for the highest suicide rates. The season of peace and joy is not so in a lot of lives. I work at a retail store, and I find that this time of year also brings out the most nasty is a person. This brothers, and sisters should not be so: let me share with you that Christmas card that I made for people, and my it encourage you to live for Christ-mas

What is Christmas? Christmas is the celebration of the day that Jesus Christ was born. How then do we give Jesus his birthday present? By exchanging gifts, by sing christmas songs, or by having a big meal with just friends? No! No! And No! How then do you give Jesus a gift due Him?

Jesus gave us an answer...

- I was hungry and you gave me food.
--Have we fed the, "not-family" hungry today?

- I was thirsty and you gave me a drink.
-- Have we given the thirsty, "non-family" a drink today?

- I was a stranger, and you took me in.
-- Are we willing to take a stranger in this Christmas?

- I was naked, and you clothed me.
--Are we willing to cloth the naked and homeless?

- I was sick, and you visited me.
-- Have we visited the sick today?

- I was in prison, and you came to me.
-- Are we willing to go to those that are in prison, and show them love?

For what you do to even the lowliest of people, you do to Jesus!

Give Jesus His birthday present today!!!
