My inbox has only one message in it presently and yet it is showing as "full" ??

I'm not quite following you. Where does it show full. I can have more than a page of inbox mail, and have no warnings at all. There is a "Personal Messages Option" under the "Modify Profile" if you select Profile at top of the page, though I did not see any settings for that option.

Mine says I've one message, but when I go to check, there is nothing but crickets cirping.

It just stays permanently telling me I've one message.
