On January 15 either the Houston Texans, Denver Broncos or the Pittsburgh Steelers will be the supper of the Ravens.

I see you're from Gaithersburg MD. I live in Harford County MD.

Go Ravens!

Let's see, there was a bright light, darkness covered the field, there was a soon to be game, and they burned out as having any chance of redemption somewhere around 70 AD.

The party's over my friend, let heavenly rejoicing begin. There's no sorrow to be had, they really were not that bad, but sons of promise they'll never be, theirs is the icon; dirty bird sitting in a tree. Scratch and peck, that's all they have, attempting to satisfy an itch that's gone all to heck.

Sorry.

thethinker

And the ravens of Baltimore gathered together around a superbowl and feasted.

I have been trying to make sense of your post. I could be wrong but it appears as if you are saying that Preterism implies that there are no people of promise after ad70. If you are saying this then you could not be more wrong. Post ad70 saints are NOT the Bride. They are the children of the Bride and as such are in the covenant as the Bride.

God promised that the children of the Bride would "all be taught of God" (Isaiah 54:13; John 6:45).

Only Adam's WIFE was his flesh and bones. Adam's children are NOT his flesh and bones. They are out of his flesh and bones, that is, his wife.

So it is with the second Adam. Only believing Israel of the first generation was Christ's Wife. We post ad70 saints are NOT His Wife. We are the children that come from her.

I know that sound scripture logic is rejected here. It is rejected because you have been conditioned to read the bible as if it was written to you. The bible was not written to you. It was written for you.

If all are Christ's wife, then who are the children? And if His wife would bear Him no children, then He would not have married her.

I have no idea where you thought I have the idea that all the Church is the bride, but then I do not believe we are children of the bride either. A divorce was given, a covenant deed, not of Adam but in Christ complete. We're born of God, given life, and that's what we need. A bride will be given Jesus, all part of the plan, a rib portion of His body; no longer fallen man.

Is it all over for you and me; you've got to be kidding, just wait and see. When Christ is done with the Church, all lukewarm and lacking time, there will be a new thing; you can bet your last dime. Watch for the signs, don't bet on the past, only things eternal are sure to last. Are you ready, is your grain in the bin; you'll know for sure when all the children are in.

You're looking to Ravens, all of the world to crow, put your faith in Jesus and allow your spirit to grow.

Larry2,

I said that I did not know how to interpret your post and that I could be wrong. I still don't know for sure what you are trying to say. I am a man of plain speech.

Anyway, this thread is about my Ravens.

blessings to you,

Ravens are going down,
They're not going to crow.
Caw, caw is all they've got,
Bah, bah, they'll receive
And that will come a lot.
But put your hope in things above,
Your song will turn to that of love.

Beat my team, you've got to be kidding
My Father above will do my bidding.
Passes and touchdowns aplenty
Does impress our very many,
But let it be said, the Ravens are dead.
How can it be? they've got feet of lead.

Uhhh, maybe we can rename them as the Dead Ducks?

thethinker

Okay, the first course in the progressive meal will be the Houston Texans.

That's what you get for thinking; quit doing that! Did Josephus see angels flying around the skies laughing?
