Is there a limit on the number of posts someone may post in one day?

If not, is this something that has been considered to keep some from dominating the board?

Currently there is not a rule about this.

There are rules about posts being not substantive that some people make that are there solely to increase their post count in order to gain some of the permissions that come with a higher post count.

And if you see meaningless posts that have no substance at all you can hit the "report to moderator" button on such a post and we will investigate any such postings.

In the meantime as well there is no real harm in your posting "bump" in a reply to a thread that you feel has been buried by someone who is covering up a thread with all of their replies to other posts.
