I Got to back up Paul Wilbur!!!

At the Tikkun America conference last weekend.

Our worship team was scheduled for the Saturday morning session.  My son filled in on drums.  But I got word that Eli ben Moshe (son of Wilbur's former bandmate Marc Chopinsky) needed a bass and drums for his set Friday night.  So we got called up.

That is not unusual as I have filled in on bass for several different teams at the Tikkun conference over the past few years.

Several of the songs on the set were from Israel's Hope (Chopinsky wrote and Wilbur sang lead)  and as he was there, Eli invited Paul to come up and join us.

Now we (my son and I) have been invited to back up Marc Chopinsky himself next month at the UMJC conference.

How cool is that???
