HI,
I like a guy, but haven't really spoken or met him,
he is single, I was told,
but on his website, he still keeps his ex girlfriend's photo, & even posted a video of both of them,
he is supposed to be single,
I was told, even the ex, hasn't removed her photo with him,

is it ok to make friends with this guy,
is he still interested with his ex,

thanks,

chosenone

Hi accacc
if you havent spoken to him or even  met him, how you do you know that you like him?

wolflet7

chosenone brings up a very good point.  You hardly know this guy and he hardly knows you.

To answer your question, I've kept most of my pictures from my ex's on Facebook.  There has only been one time where I deleted every single picture of me and an ex and that was a complete and total mess (most of it my fault).

It shows courtesy to keep pictures/videos of you ex.  It shows that the person has no hard feelings and that he/she is willing to admit that he/she dated that person at one point in time.  Shows a LOT about character.

Hope this helped.

Hello,
thankyou both of you for replying,

I don't know this person personally but felt he was nice,

I don't know about showing character, but certainly I 've read that such men never get over their ex, & deceive the other girl too,

& this is not nice,

isn't it better to forget such a guy,

any signs that he's forgotten her or signs that he hasn't

thanks.

chosenone

If they have ony just broken up, then he may need time to get over her. If you are a Christian, you need to make sure that any guy you go out with is as well.

Hi,
I had recently written about this guy not getting over his ex,
I was told that his ex's picture is given on his facebook page ,
& even she keeps his picture,
though both are now single,
don't you think I should forget about this guy,
thanks

If it were not a concern would you have posted this topic? Listen to your heart and do not expect anyone to change for you. Do what makes you happy, then find someone who likes to see you that way.

Nevertheless

Yes. Forget about him.

Bitter Sweet

He's still interested in her, whoever told you he was single is lying.

Hmmm.  You all have a different definition of single than I do.  If he is not married he is single.

Some advice my mom gave me in Jr high:  Any girl is fair game until the wedding band goes on.  Even if she is walking down the aisle to get it she is still fair game.

Seemed a bit over the top to me but that was my mom.

::pondering::  Sounds like something a stalker might like to think also.

Really?!  ::eek::

I don't have any "exes" but, I assume you'd see it the same way of a girl with her pictures with her exes, right?

What about getting married? I'm curious now. Would you still have pictures of you and your wife with pictures of all of the exes floating around?

Not judging, just wondering where you're coming from.

accacc

hello,
thankyou all for your help,
I think it is better to forget such a guy,
because the ex girl also stays in contact with him,
& on his website for a long time, he has a picture of his standing with her,
this picture is i think there for a year,
he also posted a video of her, himself & a friend, a year ago,
also,on some of these friendship sites, she is still marked as his friend along with other friends,
thankyou for your comments & help.

Cant agree with your mum there Dave. If a person is in a steady/serious relationship, or engaged, then they are out of bounds as far as I am concerned. ::smile::

Yeah that was kinda my position as well.

But since it was dear old mom - I just smiled and nodded ....

Never did date much at all in high school. I think I could count the number of dates I went on (before the one I proposed in) on my fingers and still have change.
