Hello board.

I Googled for a message board of Christ followers, and this was the first result that came up.

I registered because I have concerns that I pray to God about, but I know He's also telling me to get around association that follows Him. Iron sharpens iron right? So as a Christian (being born again in February 2008), I am currently 26 and living at home. I work a part-time job and am praying for control of finances so I can give back to my mom. I would like to be independent because I don't know how much longer Mom will be around. I also want to give back more to God, but sometimes I feel like I'm not giving enough.

I'll eventually post about my concerns on here, but I just wanted to introduce myself to this board. And for a forewarning, I am bringing a lot of baggage with me and am praying to be a stronger man from my adversity.

Time to seek healing.

Hello True (hope you don't mind my using your first name),
Welcome to Grace Centered. I pray your associations here are fruitful for all involved and along with the Lord, we may in some way, help to carry, lighten, or maybe set aside some of the baggage you mention. Personally, I come bearing a olive branch instead of a sword. I believe scripture says His Word is sharper, and I pray for understanding and enlightenment for us all, as we continue our journey.
Continued blessings and again, welcome.

Welcome True.  Good word, Geronimo.  We need to value the pure Word of God, for our religious reasoning will surely lead us astray.
