I would like to introduce myself. I am a young women living in montreal, canada. I have always practice a faith since my childhood, but at some point when I've hit some questions not answer by the catholic church, I just went on discovering other paths. From my 15 years old, I studied paganism, wicca, buddhism, new age. I am now 28 and back on the christianity path. but not Catholic anymore. I am looking to find a church that will suit my desire of learning the faith. I went to a bible study in a presbytarian church and was pleased to hear the minister talk and be close to us. It is a big change when I think of my experience in the catholic church.

I always felt that it was wrong for a priest to be celibate all his life but to give advice to married couples how they should fix their relationship. And also never liked the fact that women had no place in the catholic church.

Beside my faith, I am a normal girl who enjoy life. I like to get together with friends and talk about various topic. I love to be creative through knitting, crochet, photography. I love watching movies and to go for a walk.

I would like to ask you a question so we could start a conversation at the same time. How long have you been a christian and how did your faith appeared in your life?

Nice to see you on Grace Centered Forums. I'm one of the old guys, and would only comment that having a living God, with Whom we can have a personal one on one relationship, is truly wonderful. I hope you enjoy your time here.

I think you are on the right path. I have found that such churches as the New frontiers or the vineyard churches are very welcoming and Biblically based. I am sure that God will lead you to the right place.
You are the same age as my youngest child.
