Before we get down to the nitty gritty and somewhat murky and dirty concerning the legalism of one of the World's most dangerous and destructive Cults, we must first of all define what legalism is.

Legalism Defined (Merriam Webster)

: strict, literal, or excessive conformity to the law or to a religious or moral code <the institutionalized legalism that restricts free choice>

: a legal term or rule

What Legalism is and What it Does

Legalism (anywhere) doesn't need God. The Watchtower uses legalism in its search for innocence, and not for forgiveness. It is a process whereby the Watchtower seeks to" defend itself", "explain itself", "exalt itself", and "justify itself". The Watchtower is totally occupied and "obsessed" by "itself" and not that of God. The Watchtower is consumed by self and preservation of self, despite what anyone may say, and what proof may be presented in opposition to the claims the Watchtower makes.

The legalistic practices of the Watchtower turns their "opinion" into a "burden" for their adherents. There is only room for "one opinion" on the boat, and guess who's wrong? By turning "their opinion" into a "burden for others", they "oppress" others, even whereby they call into question whether their adherent's even have the rights to fellowship, and in some cases, even the right to salvation.

The legalistic practices of the Watchtower turn their "practices" and "opinions" into "obligations" for others, making life a "burden" and not a joy. The adherents of the Watchtower must tow the "Company Line", as their job is "not to think", but "to do" and "to march".

The legalistic practices of the Watchtower can be found in many of their very own publications, especially those that are of the "secret" kind, such as that of the "Shepherd the Flock of God", and "Pay Attention to Yourselves and all the Flock". These are publications that are issued only to those taking the lead in the Cult. These are also publications that the Watchtower Bible Cult deny even exist.

Reality Check

The Watchtower does not offer their adherents freedom of any kind, but they do offer a life that is one of "slavery", and one of "abject misery".The lives of the adherents are "centered around",and "committed" to "serving the "Concepts" of men. It is a life "devoid" of any kind of spiritual "growth". Its also a life whereby the "freedom to think" for oneself is "forbidden", and even considered a "crime", and a "crime" for which one can be placed on trial for.

Watchtower a Cog in Wheel of Babylon

The Watchtower is not any different from any other religion which they decry on a continual basis. Nordo they have the truth as they have claimed so many times. They also claim to be the fastest growing religion, yet figures show that almost 25% have left their ranks since the year 2000. They also claim that their members are truly free from the bonds of and teachings of men. But, reality paints another picture, and one which is not all too pretty to look at, in fact, they could be even described as the Pharisees of the 21st Century.

Christ did not come preaching and teaching Legalism, but that of which is to be found written in the Gospel.
