SALAD ?

I have read both ways to eat salad !

Before a meal  - to fill up on  , so you eat less.....

And after, because the salad does some thing to the food you eat or /
your body after you eat ?

So which would be more healthy for you ?

I can only speak for myself.  I have changed to eating small and frequent meals, that makes me feel more healthy.
So I may eat a salad at 5:00 pm and eat a small serving of meat with some veggies at 8:00 pm and I may or may not have an apple or an orange around 10:00 pm.

On occasion when I do go out to a restaurant and have a small bowl of soup plus a salad before dinner then have the main course and even some desert I don't feel as comfortable.  I don't feel really bad either but I think I felt less healthy when I waited all day and always ate like that.

We have salad AS our meal 3 or 4 times a week, usually with fish or cold meat, or maybe nuts or cheese or egg for the protein.

I use to have salad after my meal on every day basis. It give a good relief for me.
