I know someone who claims to be a Christian,
but he is just plain weird. He said Jesus is
the Son of God but he doesn't think that Jesus
is God. But the strange part is that he thinks
his death taught men to die for their own sins

Also, he strongly believes in a pokemon
dimension and claims he has evidence to prove
it. From what I remember he tried to prove it
by saying that he has strange and unique
fingerprints that the background check at his
job had trouble scanning because they were so
unique. Then he also said that his mom has no
birth certificate here in this world which he
also tried to use as proof. He also claimed
that someone goes missing every time there is a
big storm or something as if they went to
another dimension. The last thing is, he said
that he can read aura, like the Pokemon
Lucario. But Aura isn't just a pokemon thing. I
did research on Aura, and it's a practice here
in this world too, and seems like a form of
witchcraft that's against Christianity. He also
claims it's a gift from God. I don't know if
this is valid evidence. The bible may say something
about other dimensions but it says nothing about
pokemon. He keeps telling me to pray about it,
but that's similar to what Mormons say about
The book of mormon. The last thing is that
he said his family believes him, but they could
be just playing along to make him happy. I know
this sounds crazy, but can this "proof" be
debunked?

Just love him where he is. It sounds like he hassome deep seeded mental issues.  When he brings up the crazy stuff, tell him you don't want to talk about that subject any more and move on to more edifying and productive conversations based on reality.

He is in deep deception. Its hard to understand how anyone could believe that stuff to be honest, wasnt pokemon just a TV cartoon???
Pray that God will open his eyes and just be a friend to him.

Perhaps suggest that he get professional help.

Your friend needs a good doctor.  Seriously.

What I do with people is read the bible with them. I had a Muslim neighbour who said he believed all the Holy books, like Muslims do, so I asked him if he would read the bible with me and he said yes. I read the bible with this guy about two times a week, also bible movies, and eventually this guy prayed to ask Jesus in his Heart.
