I just signed up.

Over the last few decades I've slowly clawed my way back to the Faith.  My background is Baptist, but I am deeply drawn to Lutheranism.  I have a problem though in that I work nights and that makes getting up on Sunday really hard (I have sleep apnea as well).  Also, I am single, so you know how that goes.  I wish there was a way I could take communion a few times a month; I am seeking.

I've been through it all, atheism, the "ex-christian" thing, Eastern religions, New Age, nihilism, etc.

nightflight welcome here.

Could you find a church that has services early Sunday evening?

Alan

Welcome nightflight. Hopefully you find a church that is satisfactory to you in the near future. I see your background and that which draws you, if you find a church that agrees with those things then that is great, but if not perhaps consider a non-denominational church in the interim.

Hello nightflight,
Welcome to Grace Centered Forums. Hope you enjoy your time here.
In reading your post I was reminded of the old saying, "If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there". I pray you find the one road that leads where you want to go.
Blessings.
Oh, I meant to add, I believe communion is between you and God and doesn't necessarily require the presence of other people. You can have communion every day if you wish. Just a thought.
