Fake name/pic social media with alleged history

Person with alleged history of child sexual offence (police record/no charge) is using Facebook with a fake name and pic not of them. When questioned online about their identity they denied it.

My concern is that by nature of social media they are one click away from private messages with my kids.

I am going to try new legal advice today as not happy with response.

Any parents faced/facing similar concerns? Any tips?
