give the troll his own corner to play in?  That way his writings will stand and he will stop cramping up the other boards with his "book of wisdom"...maybe?  ::cool::

Perhaps some sort of approval for posts of new posters until they hit a certain number of posts.

Yeah..that's a good idea!  ::applause::

I wonder if it should be like the law says? Innocent until proven guilty. Seems like they hurt themselves more than us anyway. I don't know if they'd ever read something to make them realize how utterly childish they really are.
Just a thought.

I just wonder if he wasn't given his own place to post his things and they could stand, but he had to post only there...if he would settle down and be content finally.

The insulting others and constipating the boards with the same posts over and over again must be exhausting for the mods to try and keep cleaned up.

me you are missing the mind of a troll they want to disrupt not inform or have their stuff read.  I don't get the thrill they get out of this.  Even if you gave them a place of their own (which would be next to impossible) they would not post there.

I agree Johnb. It's kinda like with terrorist. If we could only give them a building or two in an isolated area with a few hundred crash test dummies to do their dirty work on, everyone would be happy. It doesn't work like that. Mayhem is their game, not conveying information.

In the famous words of Ron White, "You just can't fix stupid!" Or the sophisticated version would be, "Stupid defies all remedial efforts."

Ok. Well, thanks for listening.

Jaime

Thanks Memyself. I'm glad you and some others are contemplating this dilemma.

I just feel badly for everybody.

You mods for being so inundated by his rants, and even him who is obviously so hurting on the inside of himself that he lashes out so desperately.

My heart is for a peaceful resolution for both sides, but he made it pretty clear that is NOT what he is about...like you and John said.

::shrug::  Oh well.

God bless you guys and thanks for the tremendous job that you do!
