I would like to discuss Freemasonry. Many Christians are confused about the nature and purpose of this fine organization. I am a 32d degree Mason. I would like to help all people understand the Craft.

You can be delivered from that. God can and will set you free if you so desire.

It's a secret society, by it's own definition, it causes you to keep things from your wife or to break your oath of secrecy.

BUMP. A Mason may discuss almost anything in Freemasonry, with the exception of the modes of recognition. (Passwords, grips, signs, etc). Even these are easily obtainable with an internet search. I have been married twice, and I have discussed many aspects of Masonry with my wife (1st and 2nd).

I also discuss Freemasonry on internet discussion boards like this one. NO topic is off-limits except the modes of recognition.

Freemasonry is only a worldly thing and not a Spiritual thing in Salvation, so how can a FM better himself ? he can only come across as good in a worldly way, like in promoting himself how he wants to be seen, because he has learnt a craft that elevates man. nothing wrong with that, but such is just only as filthy rags in the light of God.

What does bother me is when a Son ask a question, he should get a truthful reply ? they don't reply ! and that is a Sin.

I would put my family before any organisation and inform my family everything I know to the best of my ability at all times.

As a true Christian, one knows what secrets are the work of.

Sure I have friends and people I look up to who are FM but I know people who claim to be Christians that I don't look up to much at all.

I had a political party bloke shake my hand and he went side to side ? not up and down, so I asked my FM in law what was that all about ? he said nothing at all to me, it was just as if I did not exist ?

Now I take on a great lot of information when someone shakes my hand, because in my business it can express things about a person.

Sorry, for me the lodge of massons is like queen Jezebel who introduce a esoteric election, auto-election based not on Gospel = book of Life of Lamb.

I'm from Russia and i see some similar points with communist party. Maybe Marx was inspired by the role of lodge in not communist revolutions before in Western world, for invent the communist party.

John Ankerberg's comments are misleading.  For example:

Ankerberg Definitely Wrong:

1.  "The Masonic Lodge teaches that all men including Christians live in spiritual darkness until they enter and become members of the Lodge

Explain the hoodwink then:

From a masonic site, http://www.masonic-lodge-of-education.com/masonic-hoodwink.html emphasis mine:

Quote
Misconception:  While Freemasonry has many secrets, the term "hoodwink" is not one of them.

The word is often misconstrued by non-Freemasons as having negative overtones due to our more modern-day definition of the word which defines it as meaning to be deceived or tricked rather than its actual meaning which is to cover the eyes.

A Masonic hoodwink is not used as a method of deception.

It is simply a symbolic and visual method of covering the eyes which is used in the initiation of the candidate into acquiring new knowledge, hence the term, "from darkness to light".

The Masonic symbolism of the hoodwink is not about placing the candidate into the darkness, which is symbolic of ignorance, but about the removal of the darkness to let in the light, which is symbolic of knowledge.

Albert Mackey, Masonic scholar, historian and author described it as:

"A symbol of the secrecy, silence, and darkness in which the mysteries of our art should be preserved from the unhallowed gaze of the profane.

It has been supposed to have a symbolic reference to the passage in Saint John's Gospel (I, 5), "And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

But it is more certain that there is in the hoodwink a representation of the mystical darkness which always preceded the rites of the ancient initiations."

Source:  Mackey's Revised Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, 1929, Volume 1, Page 464

This "darkness" exists before the person becomes a mason, according to the masons, and is now removed, once they become a mason.

Therefore,

Even Christians who had seen the light and been Christians before they became masons were in darkness.

I believe most masons do not know what they are truly into at all but they are being prepared by others that are apposed to Holy Moses and Jesus Christ.

They do a lot of good but they are not on the true track of real Grace.

Most people do not understand what Grace in Jesus truly is, worldly grace does not cut it at all.
