Yesterday the news showed a nude photo of Melanie Trump, but I immediately looked away. Then later that night, someone put a live Facebook video of them grinding at a bar in short shorts in Wisconsin. The girl's friend showed her breasts, but I looked away when I saw she was going to do it. The video is now removed. Fortunately, I avoided lust in both situations, yet I do feel like there has been strong temptation lately. That FB video came out of nowhere. Good thing I fled from temptation.

It is definitely a difficult struggle in today's culture.  They don't even have to be naked with the skimpy outfits, and how many times you can see a woman "poking" through her shirt in many TV shows.

Even watching football you get a few gratuitous cheerleader shots.

When we run away, eventually the issue catches up. When we decide to stop running, our will-power eventually gives out. When we decide to fight back, we lose.

It is a daily struggle that we cannot win.

Re-read the above and notice the same correlation over and over again, we, we, we, we, we.

WE are not strong enough to overcome these skirmishes, WE are wired by God Himself to desire women. There is only one thing WE can do. Let go and give it to God.

HE has already won the war.

This struggle for me has been a life-long struggle. One that I have always failed at. "Sue me, I'm not perfect." While that is true, HE is. I did not have the strength or will-power to overcome the struggle. But HE has so much extra, he decided to share with me, with all of US. HIS BODY!

@Jason_NC: You bring up valid points, so remember one thing the Bible says: Matthew 18:9 NLT - And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It's better to enter eternal life with only one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

If those shows are a stumbling block, I would recommend considering at a minimum finding more proper content (or getting rid of TV/cable all together.) Unfortunately, viewers are nothing more than a statistic to them, which grant ratings. They don't love you, the way He does.

@Kevin397: Way to avoid the struggle  ::clappingoverhead::, but try giving it over to God. ALSO: Facebook is a breeding ground of disgusting content. You can't escape it, I avoid that site like the plague.
