I am not able to use the bold, italics etc.  What do I need to do to be able to use them?

I have never heard of anyone having that problem. I just highlight the text I want to address and just click B for bold or I for Italics.

Well I can not use any of them..no smiley faces, bold italics etc...

By the way your response must be in preview mode (see buttons at the bottom Post, Preview and Spell Check).

I believe you just identified what is going on.  These options are not available when simply using "Quick Reply."

Hmmm.... I typed a response to this back on the 25th. I guess the board ate it.

If you can't use the buttons, just type in the BBL code. It's usually faster & easier anyway.

[u]underline[/u]
[color=green]green[/color]
[i]italics[/i] 
[b][u]bold & underline[/u][/b] [Note: The order in which you close the tags is important in combinations.]

You must use both the opening and closing tags. "Preview" is our friend! There are several others, but these are the basics.

When I tried preview it didnt work for me unless that option doesnt work with quick reply either ??

Hmmm... I don't know. This is the first I've heard of the preview button not working.
