Here we go with more rapture nonsense.

This Friday, July 27th, another blood moon will be observed in various places throughout the world.   Accompanying the moon on this occasion is the appearance of the planet Mars (approximately 2 degrees from the moon at the five o'clock position).

Rapture fanatics have taken this opportunity to declare the imminent arrival of Jesus Christ and the evacuation of privileged members of the Protestant evangelical religion to the nether regions.   Everybody else will have to stay here and do the best we can with what we've been given.

These sad gullible people really believe that they will receive an early recess.   Unfortunately they believe it EVERY SINGLE TIME some idiot expresses the thought or points to the sky and declares, like chicken little, that it is falling (once again).    The sad thing is that these folks never get it. 

Every time some fool mentions the rapture they buy this same bovine excrement as gospel and start drooling in anticipation of their departure.  They always and continually deny the Biblical exhortation unto faithfulness in Christ and His promise to be with us in times of trouble.

but this is America, where fools and malcontents and the insane rule.......

That is because many of us want an early recess.

There is nothing in this world or life that makes many want to continue on ... and that includes me. ( Though I have one obligation that must be met before)

The mere idea of needing to stay one more day in this hell hole called earth, with all that is going on is not a bit attractive, so an early recess would be wonderful.

I used to believe, perhaps out of desperation, in a pre-trib rapture. No longer because I came to understand that NO ONE... no, not one is worthy to escape anything. No matter where your standing with God is.

But it still is a desireable pipe dream to think on... and definitely more pleasant then the other options of putting ones self in danger so that you might escape life at last.  I am too cowardly ad I just cannot handle pain
