Saw it a couple of nights ago. Very intense war movie. Visually very good. I do have to say that I did not understand a single word in the movie. Lot's of war noise coupled with British accents. Though I understood what was going on, it would have been better to have understood the dialogue.

Yeah as keep in mind it was British as well as that of in WWII times. But my sister and her husband saw it. They loved it.

The movie was great, I love watching WWII movies specially my dad. This is a war history about the evacuation of allied soldiers during World War II from the beaches and harbour of Dunkirk In the north of France. Love to watch it again and again.

I received a DVD of the movie as a Christmas gift.   It's a great movie and recommended.   As might be expected with a war movie there is a lot of very realistic violence and there are a couple F-bombs (not emphasized) and I never got the sense that either were injected as gratuitous.   I watch quite a few British movies and programs and I didn't have any trouble understanding the things that were said.   I guess I've become sensitive to the differences in how we say things vs. how the British pronounce things.

If you play the soundtrack through a good sound system be warned not to have the sound pressure level too high because extreme percussive explosive sounds are going to seemingly come from nowhere and I'd say this creates a realism like that which would have been experienced had one been there.   

This is not particularly related to Dunkirk but have any of you noticed how Brits pronounce aluminum?    They pronounce it as Al-Um-E-Nim-E-Um.
