Believing in lies

There is a section in the Pauline Epistles regarding how in later times God would put into action the process of believing in lies.

Also from St. Paul we read about the mass apostasy, how all people would betray the Christ once again.

Jesus has said that these are the days of vengeance, when everything written must be fulfilled.

To say that all things have been fulfilled when, in fact, some things are still being fulfilled is to, at least in part, believe in lies.

We are now less than 204 days from the 2,300th day of Daniel 8:14, Holy Family Saturday, December 29, 2018 A.D.

No amount of discussion, constructive or otherwise, whatever ones beliefs, will change that.

Such is the power of prophecy, interpretation, and fulfillment.

If GraceCentered had shown itself to be grace centered, this post would not have been necessary.

GraceCentered is a OPEN FORUM for many different beliefs to discuss.....not just catering to your beliefs.

based on this strange teaching, and I might add speculation~I'm thankful to God they do not! It seems like you are contributing to the lies. The only thing I know happening on December 29th for sure is one of my grandson's 22nd birthday....and even that may not happen!

That would be an open forum, and in your case it's more like an open case, all twenty-four cans.

Some people have been known to sober up in under a hundred days, not that I'm trying to be an enabler, but full blown drunks have found ways to make excuses for just about anything in order to pick up again.

That is a truly disgusting thing to say.  But then I guess that maybe  is what one should expect from such a disgusting person.

This is completely rude and unnecessary.  Reported

The apostasy was the Jews who hailed Caesar- instead of God, so they wouldn't be killed in the Roman/Jewish war.

Dear the_sign,

December 29th of this year will come and go and no major prophetic event recorded in the Bible will occur. The prophecies recorded in Daniel were all fulfilled by 70AD. Hebrews 1&2: state:

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

The writer of Hebrews understood that they were in the last days of the old covenant(at the time Hebrews was written). They understood that the old covenant temple system was about to vanish away just like Hebrews 8:13 states. Dispensationalists have completely missed the connection between Daniel and the time period leading up to the dissolution of the temple in 70AD.

The "days of vengeance" were accomplished against the Jews in 66-70 AD when everything Scripturally written against them up to when Jesus made the prophecy against that generation of Jews was fulfilled in the destruction of Jerusalem & the temple.

Then came their punishment for the murder of Jesus & the apostles and their continued rejection of Jesus as Messiah, beginning in 135-136 AD with their expulsion from their land by Hadrian. this continued thru the nazi holocaust.

Okay, I'm with ya pretty good in the first paragraph. It's the next paragraph I have to object to.

Certainly you are in nonsense mode if you believe that the Nazi actions against the Jews in the 1930s and 40s was God's punishment of the Jews killing Jesus and the apostles. I don't know that I would even include Hadrian's expulsion of the Jews from their land in this.
