It doesn't look as if there has been a thread on this, so I'd like to know what you're listening to! Can be anything!

Around town I busk Folk, but also some rock, guitar, bass and gentle percussion. Presently I'm at home listening to some of Joni Mitchell. Makes me kinda happy. :)

Up here in Canada so often the climate is not suitable for playing music outdoors!  ::smile::

Just recently my wife has been playing hymn tunes in the background.

I am on my way to work soon, I work alone for most of my shift, so I bring my mp3 player. I play all Christian pop, praise, rock (not to hard) some rap (the old DC Talk). My fav is Petra and Carman

Dulcie, for the last couple of years, I've really been hooked on this group. I bet you'd like them, too.

Oh yes!  ::smile::

"And could that lass be I?"

Effective lyrics!

Maybe this poem by A E Housman - with a similar sentiment - could also be set to music:

"WHEN first my way to fair I took
    Few pence in purse had I,
And long I used to stand and look
    At things I could not buy.

Now times are altered: if I care
    To buy a thing, I can;
The pence are here and there's the fair,
    But where's the lost young man?"

'XXXV', by A.E.Housman

We have the DVD of Mylene Farmer's Timeless - Le Film. Here is the full production on someone's You Tube in full 1080p high deff resolution.

It's a fabulous treat. If you have a smart TV, beam it across via your computer.

Seems that a number of film tunes are quite memorable and tuneful.

Great piece of music! (I can almost hear echoes of Hans Zimmer there...  ::smile:: )

That's interesting, and could be that Ed Alleyne-Johnson took inspiration from Zimmer; he's made enough albums. His discography fascinates me.
