I'm asking for those men and women who believe in prayer to pray for my oldest grandson Taylor. I just received the worse news that a grandparent could possibly receive, that Taylor has stage four cancer~ It is in his kidney and has spread to his lungs and to the lymph nodes~other than that I do not know much more. We are leaving for Atlanta to be with him. Everyone is so devastated, not to mention me, it almosts leave you in a total state of shock. He was just here less than a month ago where he begun to experience what he thought was a kidney infection~and left here and drove to California where he had just brought some property and immediately got sick and flew back to Atlanta, to his parent's house, and to the doctors only to find out this morning of the terrible news. My heart is broken, but not without any hope, for with God all things are possible. I pray that Taylor would use the witty inventions that God has given to us and not reject them in trying to heal himself his way by natural means which he is so prone to do.

PLEASE remember him and my poor wife who is so torn into pieces as I write. In advance, I thank you for your sincere effort in praying for this young man.

Very sad to hear this Red.  Will be praying for your grandson.

Jaime

Red, I am so sorry to hear this. Grandkids touch our hearts like even our kids can't. I will be praying for a miracle! I understand your wife's feelings. I will pray for both of you and your entire family. Love ya brother.

mommydi

My heart hurts so much to hear this, Red. Of course - daily prayers for your precious grandson and the whole family. We all know of the discouraging stats on stage 4 cancers, but please try not to dwell on worst case scenarios. My son-in-law has stage 4 colon cancer and has outlived his prognosis and is doing fairly well. So - I believe this is possible for your grandson, especially with the love and prayers of so many - including his loving grandparents. Those here who know you, know your grandson comes from hearty, rugged stock so your grandson has a fighting spirit to take on this monumental illness and give it a good butt kicking!

Please keep us updated as you can while we continue to pray for him.

Isn't that the truth? When my kids were little, I thought it impossible to love another child as much as my own - then came my grandkids who touched my heart more than I could imagine.

You are right about the witty inventions. I hope, too, that he will avail himself of them.

Red, is your grandson a Christian?

I am so sorry to hear this devastating news. I will pray for his healing, and if he isn't a Christian for his salvation too. God will work in this situation for good no matter what.

Greeting Chosenone, to answer your question I will say this: A Christian as the word of God would define that word, the answer is no~is he a believer, I will say this: Taylor was baptized when he was around seventeen of his own volition, based upon what he desired to do, but has not lived up to that confession, as I know a person should do. Of course, I'm not God, but a mere man, yet I think that I have the Spirit of God, that is worthy enough to make sound judgments on such matters~but I cannot make perfect judgment~for I would have never had judge Lot a righteous man if I would have been living in that day; I fear I would have over judged him by my own standards of what constitutes a child of God~and rightly so~THANK GOD that he can see the heart where all I can do is look on the outward walk of a man. So, Chosenone, I'll leave it there, for my children or grandchildren state of being a child of God is outside of my control~ I labor hard to control what I know that I can and that is to live my own confession according to the word of God so that if God regenerates them, then they KNOW who can direct them into the way of righteousness according to the word of God. My daughter Destini, Taylor's mother, call us yesterday, and wanted to speak not to her mother, but father, so that I could give advice and comfort her broken heart, which, I could not do over the phone because of her broken spirit, so I'm leaving in about three hours to go and see her, and Taylor with my little broken-hearted wife. Sherry, I can comfort by giving her hope in God, for she's strong in the faith not wavering at God's goodness, power, and wisdom, knowing that what God does is absolutely perfect and righteous~ and that he sees the end from the beginning which we cannot see a few seconds ahead of us.

I remember Paul's own words about his life:
Quote from: Paul2nd Corinthians 4:6-9~"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;"
I thank each one of you for your prayers and kindness. I'll close with this:

Update news of Taylor Christopher Copp~the cancer has not spread to his to the lymph nodes as it was first reported to me. I went to Atlanta and was in the hospital room when two different doctors came in and talked with us. It is serious, but not as serious as first reported. We are at the moment weighing our options. There is a large growth of mass on his right kidney that's cancerous, and two small pockets of growth on his lungs about the size of a grain of rice. There's always a danger of surgically removing any growth of fear of spreading~Chemotherapy treatment is not our first option. So time is of the essence and all know that to be true.

Cancer is much like tennis shoes, from where it first starts it is off running looking for places to attach itself~and so far they have not found any evidence that it is outside of the kidney, except the possibility of the lungs, which they as of yet cannot confirm that 100% until a biopsy is done, and Taylor as of yet has not given that permission~he's 23 making his own decisions with his life.

Continue to pray for him for God's mercy toward him regardless of his decisions. Ultimately, all healing must come from above from our God who healeth all of our diseases.  Again, I thank each and every person who in all sincerity has mentioned this young man's name before the throne of grace, from whence cometh out help.

Much love to all of you. Believers are the most loving, caring and sincere people on the earth.... (well to be truthful, the ONLY people)....  Even with our differences, we know this to be so, and in seasons when one of our brethren are having any troubles we come together in support of them which is the godly thing to do. I truly thank each one who did remember this young man. Taylor told me yesterday, that everyone heard him praying in his room, not that he prayed to be heard, but he was praying and was looking to his only true source for help.

Listen and enjoy: http://www.letgodbetrue.com/media/audio/music/misc/blest-be-the-tie-that-binds.mp3

Update concerning Taylor~After Friday we shall know much more about the route Taylor is taking to attack this cancer. Maybe, using a "little" Chemo and natural means. Remember Steve Jobs~After Steve Jobs was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer in 2003, he allegedly delayed surgery to remove the tumor~ the recommended treatment for nine months. During that interim period, he attempted to treat his cancer with alternative medicine, including a special diet...which is Taylor's first choice, but I trust we have convinced him to mix BOTH together, to combat his cancer. He's meeting with a Cancer center in Atlanta that will use both, (most will not even consider this route which I think is simply pressure from drug companies that reap big benefits from the doctor's using their drugs, it is sad, but it is the world in which we now live in) which is one of the best centers in the world.

Pray that Taylor would seriously consider mixing both together.  ::prayinghard::

Red, if those two tiny specs in his lungs turn out not to be cancer, then this may not be stage 4 and greatly improves his prognosis! I hope he quickly gets that biopsy on the specs in his lungs and settles that once and for all! I will pray that he gets that biopsy. If the cancer is contained in the kidney and not in his lymph and not in his lungs, this will be such positive news! Keep us informed!

Oh man, Red, I"m so sorry to hear of Taylor's situation. I would mention that I have a grandson that, before he was born, his doctors recommended abortion due to a failed Kidney. But that was refused and he was born with one kidney functioning, but that is all a number of people have. At 3 years old, if my memory is correct, surgery was done to remove the bad kidney and he only has one functioning kidney. But, he's over 6 ft tall and 21 years old and a policeman. So, that is really good news that Taylor doesn't have what they suspected in the beginning.
Father God, thank You for Taylor's improvement in diagnosis. Thank you for having him born into a family that are faithful Christians. I pray for his deliverance from the cancer that is left and for the people who attend to his needs while he's in the hospital. We know it's in Your hands Lord and we are thanking you in advance for taking care of Taylor and the rest of the family as they face this setback. Thank You for our friend and brother Red and let him be one of the posts that the rest of the family leans on.
We pray in the powerful name of Jesus
Amen.

Geromimo, you are a kind and gracious person~a great attribute for one to possess. Thank you for your prayers for Taylor.

Taylor's update: Taylor is having a few different doctors, some head of teaching @ Emory in Atlanta seeing him. They are having conflicts of opinions, which truly surprises me. What they agree on is that it is unusual and serious. They should know 100% by the end of this coming Wednesday when they are finished with all of their testings. At the moment he is having intravenous therapy every day of some of the most power antibiotics~with some natural probiotics to counterbalance the powerful antibiotics.

One doctor said that it is a deadly BLOOD INFECTION (it has a name but I cannot remember it at the moment) another which is a teaching doctor @ Emory disagrees and said that he is convinced that its cancer because of the large mass on one of his kidney. This is sometimes what you get when you chose to bring in other doctors and get their professional thoughts. I now see why on the back of their invoices it said......"practicing medicine" in the finer print!

So, we are kinda in limbo until after Wednesday. That's when the biopsy will be completed. The only thing I do know at the moment is that chemotherapy treatment is NOT even considered an option by Taylor.

Dear RB & family,
We are praying for your family
Just hope everything is ok,
please keep us informed,
Praying for you all.

Bemark

Hi m8 my brother in the Lord

I told you the vision of the swirling yellow smoke around the rock .

You are that rock and the cancer is around you . Not you as I thought but around you . A family member. It takes a few chips off us for sure. But your faith will heal the sick.

Bemark you friend and brother in the Lord. My mother had cancer in her limp nodes at 50 . 73 now and still going strong praising the Lord. I love you RB

Bemark

I told you also the colour of mustard a mustard seed . Yellow . Your faith is also going to be increased . This is true

Bemark

Yes take the child to the doctors still. The Lord provides. Father as in the vision, I call forth the faith that is around and with in you RB . Father let your word go forth and heal the sick in the name of Jesus. The name above cancer and also release a fresh heart in RB . As in Samson who pushed against everything that came against him. So release your same, everlasting refreshing spirit to  come upon RB . The spirit of the Lord , Your spirit of might. So he can push beyond his ability. When you feel you have nothing ...you still can push. Father let the angelic realm come down and uphold your word. On earth as it in heaven. Send them Lord

Carey

Sorry to hear this news Red.  Praying for good outcome for this young man, and strength and solace for his family.

Best wishes and warmest regards,  May God's blessing be upon you all.

Carey.

Bemark

Rb when you go in .... They come with you....Pray in his name.  You are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses .

Bemark

When 2 or 3 are gathered in his name I Am there. Go with 2 and 3 . Remind the Lord of the purpose of your grandchild. He shall live and declare the word of the Lord. He shall live and declare the word of the Lord. Let not the Lord be robbed . Let not his will be undone. Who shall stand against his purposes and plans . There is none. So let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven .let the ones in heaven look on now. Let the court be seated. There is no one who can take his life before the will of the father. Not one

RB

A very heartfelt THANK YOU to Mark and Carey! I'll give an update very soon~things have NOT changed very much~there are many doctors are looking at Taylor and his sickness since there has been ONLY 18 ever recorded, They are doing an MRI  AFTER they do a biopsy~ I believe within the next two weeks. At the moment hs's on two different types of antibiotics fighting his blood disease.~which they have seen a 50% decline in the disease.

Red, this is so sad and scary, but at the same time, intriguing. The whole juxtaposition of a life-threatening, very rare blood disease with a tumor that may or may not be connected. Please update as you can. Maybe Taylor's case will help answer questions for the few others who have been down this extremely rocky road.

....and still praying here for Taylor and his whole family.
