Seeing some; most current one is from TB Trivia Boss and has a naked lady on it: "Hottest women of the 70s"

I haven't seen either of those.  They may be targeted ads.  In fact, they are targeted ads.  Google Adsense if I am not mistaken.  Something in your cookies, etc must tell the system that you might go for one of those ads.

I don't see any hot naked lady ads - but then again, I don't look at hot naked ladies on the Internet.  ::shrug::

Complaining about targeted ads will give you away every time, Dave.  ::smile::

Here's an example of targeted ads that pop up on my screen-

I'm into home decor, not naked ladies.  ::nodding::

Still don't see ads due to ABP but for the most part, ads are based on algorithms personal to the user.

I should really use that. I don't have offensive ads - just annoying ads.

Remember when the member here was seeing those dating ads and thought they were real women posting to him about wanting to date? He was answering them in his public posts! Maybe I shouldn't laugh, but that had to be the funniest thing ever here at GC. Mercy.

Not likely since this is a government computer and the firewalls and filters are supposed to keep all that kind of stuff out.  I am actually surprised that the ad got thru.

I do look for stuff from the 70s on occasion. Including TV actors and actresses.

Sometimes I miss the 70s so bad.

I never miss the 70's.  That was the before time.

You missed a good decade.

BTW, there's no apostrophe after 70 in 70s. If you went to high school during the 70s, you would know.  ::tippinghat:: rofl

Me too, as far as TV programming..... and , sigh.... music. ::playingguitar::

Been watching all of the original Tom Selleck Magnum programs.

They are rerun on Hallmark Movies and mysteries every day.

Magnum is 80's.  Much better decade.

I used ABP. It works prety good.

Often though I am prompted to white list a link I want to red something on... and then repost to GC... or vice versa....
or forward... You get the idea, and I do cause I will never be back there to see the annoying ones.

But Yahoo email and I are going to get into it as soon as I can alerting people to a change. They will not run properly
if I have ABP on them.... As soon as it is off works okay. Worse then Gmail and that is pretty bad.

But I cannot take the pop up ads... Maybe cause I never get any controversial ones?  ::lookaround:: It is so nice to not see them on GC.

True... I always get them mixed up in my mind. 70s and early 80s
and late 60s because the music was absolutely the best...

Original Hawaii 5/0 was 70s

No matter which decade of the 3 you could not go wrong.

But you were not born by then according to everything you always say?????

My favorite detective shows of the 70s not 70's -

Columbo
Rockford Files
McMillan and Wife

Other 70s not 70's shows I really like-

(The don't laugh at me category)

The Carol Burnett Show
The Facts of Life
Rhoda
The Ghost and Mrs Muir (late 60s-70)

As far as the music of the 70s - that was my decade for sure.

Of course, my all time favorite - the Bee Gees.

Which reminds me - grams mentioned a few years ago that this was one of her favorite songs that reminded her so much of her dearly departed husband.

Columbo reruns are on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.  Still great.

Rockford is on MeTV or RetroTV. Still wonderful.

McMillan and Wife were briefly. Originally I was into it but not so much in reruns.

My all time favorite music wise will always be Elvis.
