It was just a little over 2 weeks ago that her dad had crossed over but now her husband is very seriously ill.

I will let her tell what the problems are, if she choses, but she needs an over abundance of strength and peace within her at this time, especially.

Our Heavenly Father,

I come to you today to lift up my dear friend, who is so precious to me. I ask that you bless and surround her with your loving arms, especially as she navigate through life's ups and downs at this time.. Please give her all the peace that surpasses all understanding and the comfort of knowing that she is never alone.

Yep, it's pretty crazy here. When it rains - it pours situation.
He has stage 4 liver disease - cirrhosis, and severe heart failure with an EF of 20%, regurgitating valves - the whole nine yards. One of his arteries has 100% occlusion, but he's grown collateral vessels around it that are trying to pick up the slack - but of course, that didn't help much. He let it go for so many years that his heart is so damaged and worn out. Plus, he had a heart attack 20 years ago that left some damage. Heart is too sick for a liver transplant, and liver too sick for  heart surgery. Last Thursday, I called an ambulance to come get him.
I don't know how much time he has left. That's in God's hands.

We know from a very early age that the end is there for all of us. But knowing that end will come doesn't really help much when it is a loved one. My prayers are with you and your husband.

He's still in the hospital. They're not going to do the needed valve replacements and bypasses. They told him they would implant a defibrillator - if he wants one.
So that's where we're at.
