I am requesting prayers for me. A couple of months ago my best friend left me and now I am trying to start my life over, struggling against thoughts of despondency and experiencing emptiness. Also I would like make a prayer myself for those of us who are lonely:
Dear Lord God, have mercy on us and hear our prayer for all of us who are lonely. Heavenly Father, we humble ourselves before You. We would like to talk with You face to Face, but we are fallen human beings and it is not granted to us to talk with You and be in communion with You like our ancestors Adam and Eve were before the primordial fall. Having no spouse and no friends we suffer from terrible loneliness, struggling to find clear meaning and purpose of our lives. But we firmly believe that it is Your will for us to live until You decide for us to depart from this earthly life. We obey You and continue to serve You as good as we can. Please lead us to true happiness of knowing You and of being in close, good relationship with You. Instruct us and guide us in doing Your holy will, may we fulfill all Your expectations from us. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name, amen.

Take it from a adopted family of loneliness' The kind of religion Christ our Holy Father puts is stamp of approval on(James 1)

 Jesus the son of man the loneliest man that ever walked. Because he spoke in parables teaching them how to walk by faith unseen things of Christ's the spiritual understanding hid from non believers. He would teach them how to walk by faith (unseen things of Christ) In a series of parables hiding the unseen eternal gospel understanding . The other apostle decided to elect a new leader-- they must of thought Jesus  went off the deep end--- speaking parable but not given them the understanding  His own earthly family shunned him.

Represented by the short verse "Jesus wept" at the misunderstanding of parable

In that way you are not alone but part of the household of faith the mysteries of Christ 

Now we have Abba our adopting Holy Father we are no longer widows Now married to Christ help other new creatures and be a light to the world .No more only the lonely Dum de do wah--- Keep showing yourself friendly 

James1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
