A Faulty Line of Reasoning

All the knowledge I have about World War II I could fit into a few episodes of Hogan's Heroes and a screening of Schindler's List.

But -- I have to say Rick Gamble's use of the Maginot phenomenon hit home with me.

And the first thing I thought of as I started to read the article was the very Gospel passage he refers to at the end --

How does a gate prevail?  What does a gate do?

It stands firm.  It opens when it's letting in friends and it stays closed to keep out its enemies, right?

So the gates of H e l l -- if it's "h e l l" there and not "Hades", though either one makes my point --

Will not prevail against the Church.  That means we have our part in forcing it open, that gate, and destroying the hold evil has on our fellow man.

I guess we need to guard against settling for the easy target.
