He denies it. However, it seems that the French think he was up to something because during a surprise search of his hotel room they found some substances unheard of in their country - soap, deodorant and toothpaste. These items have been confiscated by French authorities for further investigation.

The news story I heard said somehow someone got a urine sample that had been saved since 1999 (Does one have to refrigerate that?) and tested it and came up with something that was not detectable in 1999. Although the kicker came when it was stated that there was no way of verifying it was Lance's sample.[/color]
